Kayne nodded at her warning, but still couldn't fight the blush that colored his cheeks when she hooked her fingers into her waistband to pull it down. As the tattoo emerged, his blush vanished and he leaned closer to get a better look. He started to reach out to trace it, just as she had his, but then its location stopped him dead. To cover the movement, he reached up and swept his soaking wet hair back out of his face and pulled away.

"That one's really cool, but I like the white dragon better I think," he said, standing up to go get the tea. "I actually have a third one. Would you like to see it?" he asked, grabbing two mugs.

Jess stared at him blankly.
"My White dragon?" She said her face turning pale. "How did you know about that?" She suddenly felt very sober her hand reaching behind her to touch the flesh coloured tape she used to cover it most days.

Sitting back down she crossed her legs and tapped her fingers on her knee. It's not like he knew what it represented anyway. She only kept it covered to keep the Japanese adults off her back.

"You have a third one? Sure I'd like to see it." She smirked. "As long as it's not anywhere dodgy. I'm a lady remember."
Grinning she reached behind her and pulled off the tape so he would be able to get a proper look at her pride and joy. The most expensive thing she owned next to her bow.

Kayne turned to look at her at the change in her voice. Had he said something wrong? It was just a tattoo. Slowly he turned back to pour the tea. "I saw it the other day in your office," he shrugged. "I don't see what the big deal is. Lots of girls have tattoos on their lower back." He finished pouring the tea and brought the warm mugs over to her. He sat down and handed her one of the mugs. He took a small sip of his tea and let the hot liquid warm his freezing body up. He hoped he wasn't going to get sick from all of this.

"Lady? I think not," he grinned, setting the tea down on the ground. He pulled himself up to his knees and reached down to pull his shirt up on the left side. Another tribal tattoo curled itself around his pec and wound its way down his ribs to end in a dragon's head down at his waist. "It seems that we have something in common when it comes to tats," he grinned.

"It's not so much where it is. More like the style." She began taking the tea. "It's a very old style of Japanese tattoo, very traditional and expensive. People usually associate them with the mafia, but the truth is they date back to the samurai era. A lot of dojos go in for them." She shrugged and cupped the tea between her hands, the alcohol was wearing off and she was begining to feel the cold.

"People in Japan are funny about them, for example I can't go to hot springs or a gym unless it's covered. My ex, Hiro. He has a full back one, family tradition. He can't go swimming or wear white shirts incase it shows through."

As he took his shirt off, Jess's jaw dropped. That was one hell of a tattoo, and very cool. Unconciously as before she reached out to touch it. To her she wasn't tracing a line down his body but examining a work of art.
"s**t, that's a goodun." She said in awe as she moved her fingers across it.. "O.k now you have to see my dragon properly...because it'll knock the socks off that one."

Kayne smiled at her reaction. It was his favorite one and he was very proud of it. When she reached out he started to pull away, but held his ground. What she was doing was no different than what she had done with his other two. He looked down and watched her fingers trace the lines, squirming a bit when she got to a ticklish spot on his ribs. He could feel that his face was burning at her touch. The 'if only's returned to his mind unbidden. If only she wasn't his mentor. If only they had met of their own accord on the street. When she pulled her hand away, he slipped his shirt back down and picked his mug back up and took a big swallow to force himself away from the path that those thoughts were leading him.

"I doubt it," he smiled at her over the top of his mug, and waited paitiently for her show him. He had to admit he was curious to see the whole thing. It had caught his eye the other day after all.

Jess noticed his blush and withdrew her hand quickly, that had been way out of line and far to intimate.
"I'm sorry." She said picking up her mug and drinking the warm tea. Giving a grin at his challenge she turned round and sat of her heels. She didn't need to move any clothing her top was short enough and her waistline low enough to show it off properly.
"Thems fighting words." She laughed waiting for his reaction.

A white asian dragon about four inches high and six long danced across her lower back. On closer examination it contained traces of pinks and blues giving an almost mother of pearl effect. It's sapphire blue eye glared out enhancing the menacing expression on its face.

"What do you have to say about that then?"

Kayne waved off her apology and set his mug down to move closer as she turned her back to him. His jaw literally dropped. It was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Without thinking, he reached out and traced the dragons' back with the tip of his index finger. The colors and design were fantastic and beautifully done.

"Wow," he breathed, unable to take his eyes off of it. "I've never seen anything like that before. It's a shame you feel like you have to cover it up." He ran his finger across it one more time, then withdrew it quickly when he realized what he was doing. "I suppose you do win this round," he grinned and rocked back to sit down. He reached out to the pile of towels and picked up one of the small dish rags. He ran it lightly through his hair trying to dry off a bit. Even with the hot tea he was feeling chilled to the bones now that he had stopped blushing.

"How are you feeling Sensei?" he asked with a bit of concern.

Jess held her breath a little as he touched her back. She'd never have someone randomly touch it before. Well, not someone who she wasn't playing "house rules" with. Suddenly she felt totally ashamed for touching his tattoos he must think she was a total whore.

Standing up she grabbed the towel she had left on the floor and wrapped it around her shoulders.
"Freezing and more than a little sick." She sniffed picking the tea up off the floor and finishing it. Placing the mug in the sink she walked over to the bow rack and stared at it in dismay. Her embarrassment went up a whole new level.
"I am such a moron." She moaned crossing back over to where he was sat. "I collected my bow before I went out. It's in my room."

She winced her teeth chattering. "Sorry."

Kayne watched her as she moved around. She was much steadier now. When he saw her approach the bow rack, he figured they would be leaving soon and got up to wash their mugs. At her words he paused mid rinsing and turned slowly to face her a highly unamused look on his face.

"Women!" he exclaimed irritably as he turned to finish washing the mugs, secretly grinning to himself. It would be his luck that she had dragged them through the rain for no reason. But still he wouldn't really complain about it. He could have been stuck with worse company. He finished washing the mugs and set them off to the side to dry. He turned to face her with his hands on his hips.

"If I get sick because of this, you're going to owe me big time," he said pretending to be stern. He shifted to rub his hands on his arms for warmth and walked over to where he had thrown his coat. "I'll walk you back to the dorms okay?" he said, picking it up off the ground.

"Honestly Kayne i'm sooo sorry." She said stepping towards him. "I mean you've been so sweet to me. Putting up with my making a total arse out of myself."

Sighing she mopped up the wet patches on the floor where she had been lying and threw the towel into the laundry.
"Thank you." She nodded picking up her keys and shaking as she waited for him to finish. "And if you get sick i shall be your personal slave ... in return for you not mentioning this to anyone." She added with a grin.

"Aye, that I have," he grinned. "Though I've been around much worse drunks than you." He started to slip his coat on, but it was freezing at this point and he couldn't stand putting it on. Giving a small shiver, he tied it around his waist instead. At her next words, he raised an eyebrow.

"Really now?" he grinned and faked a cough. "As for not mentioning this to anyone... we'll see," he teased. He moved to the door and held it open for her. "As for right now, I think it's time we both go to bed and warm up a bit." Once she was out the door, he followed her and bent down to pick up his shoes.

Jess stepped out onto the damp grass and winced as her bare feet sqidged on the ground.
As she locked the door she gave him a glare, and was about to make a smart comment when the alcohol still in her system got the better of her on his last comment.

The unintentional innuendo made her double over in laughter.
"My place or yours." She snorted sending herself into a greater fit of laughter until she felt like she was about to be sick. Straightening up she wiped the tears of laughter from her eyes and sighed. "Sorry. Bad joke. Couldn't resist." She smirked starting to walk in the direction of the dorms.

When Jess started to laugh, Kayne gave her an odd look, which turned into a small blush when he realized what he had implied with his words. "You're so dirty Sensei," he said with a serious look on his face. He gave his head a small shake as he started after her, his lopsided grin spreading slowly.
