I was thinking about it,..and Nomura said in an interview (somewhere on RPGgamer.com if I remember right...) that KH 3 wouldn't take place on the KH time line..
So in my mind, that can mean only one thing...Time-traveling prequel! Which I actually wouldn't mind...especially if they used this as a chance to get more into the Organization members back stories.
I want to bloody see Reno give up his heart in a dramatic, angst-ridden FMV demnit. D:

(seeing as this is the only topic I've seen so far that has digressed a lot I think I can post razz ) There should (like big chance there will) be a KH3. There was so much that could be explained, cause you know some of the stuff I don't get yet. Like the forming of Organization 13 and how each member got involved and why Roxas left, all that Jazz. I guess it could use new characters but the original should be refered to a lot. or something like that idk sweatdrop . But then again we have all grown so attached to the original so that wouldn't be cool to remove them *-*.
But what about the letter at the end from king mickey, I don't get it... *sob* <-- Spoiler.. maybe... I'm just playing it safe.

When hes a little kid and a 17 year old? or you start off in the past, then you change character and its future>?

Ok, I'm too lazy to read this forum from the begining, but this is what I know about KH3.
I beleive that its a spin off, no originall characters, but I can't prove this. I can prove though that KH3 is about a Keyblade war. Just get the secret ending to KH2 and see for yourself or go to youtube.com and check it out.

from what I think (trying not to spoil anything) I do belive that he could move on and leave the origional characters behind, and I think this would ok. Soras journey has been a long one and without making a rediculous plot scrible I dont think they could really include them in it again.
from what I have heard around its based on the history of the keyblade and keyblade wars (or something like that) and I think if it is made it would be really good.
I heard he said something about it not being a prequil but the way its explained its set up to be one *sigh* like in the future but in the past...
anyway, I would be glad if they didnt use sora and riku and them again, I think that it could get old and really ruin alot of things that people love about the game. (asuming they arnt in it)
I am also excited to see who the new keyblade weilder is thou :O
