I agree that Heero has emotions too. I think if he didn't, he would never have sought the verdicts of the Noventa family. I think a person feeling nothing wouldn't be bothered enough to take the time. I also disagree with Silvia Noventa when she said he was taking the cowards way out. I think simply hiding the fact is cowardly but he was trying make peace with the family by letting them know it was a mistake...not a hateful act on his part... (okay back to the topic!) sweatdrop
I also agree that Heero and Relena would have a better chance in a lasting relationship than most couples...I mean...if your feelings can last for the one trying to kill you and for the only one who can squalsh your military killing instincts...its gotta be love!

Kalaeris The worst thing is when yaoi fans go out of their way to put Heero with Duo or something. It makes no sense - the series has made it perfectly clear that Relena and Heero are canon, and there's no real proof to back their claims up. And seriously, I don't see Heero as the type to be gay. YES!!!! That's what I've been trying to tell people for years. I think people like to place Heero with Duo just because they hate Relena. I really don't understand why people hate her anyway.

Mostly, it seems to be a bad first impression combined with her "getting in the way" of Heero being gay with anyone.
Which is sort of funny, when you think about it...if Heero really DOES hate her the way a lot of the crazy yaoi types say, then why should she prevent him from getting with someone else at all? It's not like she's physically holding him back or anything.

 Precisely... If Heero was gay and hated Relena, it is my belief that Gundam Wing would be the yaoi fangirl pr0n dream and she'd have been dead early on. I'd also be thoroughly disgusted and refuse to watch it... rofl

What really gets me...don't people realize that there are a LOT more important things going on in the After Colony world? Really, why on Earth would Heero be focusing on scoring a boyfriend/girlfriend when there's a chance the planet will be ruined by a group of space terrorists? They may be teenagers, but they've got their prioirties straight.

In a sense, the mission is Heero's boyfriend/girlfriend. No competing with that. There are people who are married to their work and still have romantic endeavors with human counterparts though. Sadly, those usaaly end badly. Oh well, I'm still rooting for the heterosexual side. If Relena can't have him, let the war take him. Beats having the yaoi fangirls abusing him....

Heero and Relena are meant to be together.
I'm not really sure why, but I feel a sort of connection to Relena personally. She's smart, intelligent, beautiful, and she's the type of young woman that when she enters a room, everyone stops just to look at her.
Heero may come off as a cold-hearted jerk, but deep down, he's really a nice guy. Heero's past is still mostly shrouded in mystery, but from what we know, he's been forced to hide his feelings and emotions away for the good of the colonies. But I know that he's a nice guy. I mean, he's gone out of his way more than once to keep her alive.
On a personal note, if it wasn't for my strong belief that these two were destined to be a couple, I would never have met the love of my life.

I never saw them working out for more then a year or so because Heero isn't emotionally mature enough for a relationship. Relena would eventually move on..
And I see her better with Quatre BUT BUT.. honestly she'd probably marry someone that was never in the series because real life is like that

I honestly can't see either Heero or Relena with anyone else other than each other, in series or out. All the clues in the series, deliberate or not, lead me to this conclusion: Heero and Relena were made for each other. *insert sickeningly sweet cliche line here*

There's logical reasoning behind Heero and Relena being together. It just wouldn't work between her and any other character in the series.
To prove my point, I'll go through the pairings.
Relena/Duo: Maxwell's too much of a goofball to end up with Relena, and I think he sees her as more of a sister than a woman he could fall in love with.
Relena/Trowa: This one just doesn't really make any sense to me at all. I mean, come on!! She dumps Heero just to start a relationship with a guy that's very similar to Heero.
Relena/Quatre: Out of all of the other Gundam pilots, this is the only one that I could ever see working out, if at all. Relena and Quatre are very similar in ideals, but I really see them just being very good friends.
Relena/WuFei: NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This pairing doesn't make any sense at all. There's no way that she would ever get together with WuFei. They have nothing in common, and I know that everyone says that opposites attract, but not in this case.
