Calli blinked as he said what sort of magic he was looking into. "That's surprising." She comments, then added. "I don't care much for necromancy, but those last two are specialties for me. When you go to the library, I could probably point you to the best books." She admits, then shrugs as she smiles a little at him. However, as he sighed, she tilted her head to the side a little in a questioning fashion, wondering what was up now. At the mention of a journal, she gave a nod of understanding, and for a moment thought of offering him a few of her extra ones. She was always writing things down, so she had a ton of journals.
As he yawned, Calli smiles a little, watching his large teeth flashing in the moonlight. "Well, the tavern is certainly a fast process to getting a room... but its not very comfortable there. I would personally go with the mansion. You'll get access to the hot springs and all sorts of other amenities. I don't think Kenshin would mind if you used a guest room, then set up payment in the morning, if somebody like me gave you permission. When I arrived, he just gave me a room in the mansion without my even having to ask." She explained, shrugging a little. Sure... right now she wasn't all that certain she and Kenshin were still friends... but he probably wouldn't mind her letting a person do this. Calli sighs a little, thinking about the beach yesterday, then yawns too and stretches. "If you wish, I can lead you to the part of the mansion where the rooms are now." She tells him, thinking of going to sleep now too.

"That would be wonderful milady. I seem to have grown tired once more." He bowed slightly as she turned to head up to the mansion, as he'd been beaten into doing every time a lady passed. Polite sure, but... some of them didn't deserve it. He might have bowed anyhow to this young elf.
His mind turned to the thought of all the books that he'd be able to poke through and note in a month's time. It would be a few weeks before the hides for his bindings were to his liking, but that wasn't an issue, as far as he knew. He could very well offer to fix some of these books while he was here, if they needed it. Likely they did... "Calli, I thank you for the information about the library. It is a pity you have no interest in necromancy, as I might be able to get through the crap that they have here and down to the more serious bits that are missing from my twin's and my libraries."
He didn't have to think, just sort of greeted Byron as he flew just above their heads into a crash landing just up their path, having planned on joining them.
