I think I'll join you in this little investigation Draco. I'll go check out all the lyrics to Catharsis and see if lyrically it fits with the album title.

Unfortunately, a lot of them aren't translated on Scape. he romaji is provided, so I could translate them, but it would be easier if translations were provided. D:

Catharsis is my most beloved album. The whole feel of it and i really belive Kozi pourd alot of his soul into making this CD. I really do wish to read what each song is about and what inspired him.. He loves the circus and orgain sounds. I do too! I cannot pic a fav song from the album to be honest. Sir Kozi is one original man.. I can't wait for the new relese. heart

Catharsis may be my favorite album. I'm not sure why, though.
I like how the first song seems to sum up the idea of catharsis. The song begins in a free and somewhat confused state. Then it gradually begins to build up into something more stressfull. The stress builds up into something that can't be controlled, and before it completely takes over, it is finally released. To me, for the first half of the album, the lyrics all seem very hopless. Regardless of what the song may sound like, they all have this kind of "can't wait to die" feeling in the words. The little instrumental insert in the middle could represent a seperator between the hopless and hopefull. The last half of the album certainly has more hope in the lyrics. They may still sound sad and confused, but they still have more hope in them than the first half of the album.
Yes. . .

I'm going to put up a thread for it as soon as may 17th hits so that we can all talk about what the THINK it will be...and then we can talk about what it is like once the people who pre-ordered it recieve their copies. I am filled with excitement! whee

I just got Catharsis a few days ago and I can safely say that's it's one of the best albums that I've ever listened to.
My favorite songs are Grottesca, Nocturne, and Crimson Star...All of those songs are great for different reasons, but I'm sooo tired right now that I don't even know why I'm posting. lol

I'd liek to take a look.

Draco-bu This is most intriguing. Where did you find the translations? I'd liek to take a look. I used the translations off Scape. As for the ones that were missing, I asked my friend to translate them. He gave me a paper with all the translations. . .I'll see if I can find it.

Since scape is now gone (I miss it already) would you mind scanning the translations in for us or typing them out for us in the guild? You could make a new topic just for translated lyrics. It would REALLY be appreciated.

The CD really is quite amazing. I was the same way when I got mine. All I could do was stare at it in amazement. I was TRYING to get Izayoi no tsuki for my birthday (the 16th of this month) but once I add in the shipping I really don't have the money to get it right now. My soul aches for that book and cd. It is the ONLY Kozi release missing from my collection.
