I like wizards a lot. They usually have great personalities, and are fun to play. I love beating people to death with my iron-bound spellbook. MWAHAHAHAH!!!

The only class I've ever tried to play as is a Sorcerer. I've always wanted to try Paladin, though...

Bards, baby! Bards rock hard. whee
I know, I know. Jack of all trades and master of none....but that is why I love them. They're so versatile! No matter what situation comes up, they usually have something to offer that can aid the group, whether it's a little back-up healing, fast-talking out of a sticky situation or adding their sword to the fray.

I know I don't look it, but I'm all about fighters. My last character went Cavalier, and was doing some serious damage with that lance of his...
I also really like being a Knight but not fighting for gods, but for fame, land, and honor(bragging rights).

The fighter is an awesome character class, and can result in just about anything, depending on feats, which is the best part about the class.

"Show me."
"Uh, sorry, I can't cast them today. Try tomorrow instead."

Sorcerors/Sorceresses are way cooler. No spellbooks or preperation for them! Sponanaetity all the way baby!

I'm partial to Scouts, just because of the fact that they bring power to one of my favorite weapons, the bow. Not much you can do against a Skirmisher
Coming in second is a Fighter. Like everyone has noted, they're an empty book, you can mold them as you wish. I actually like messing around with a Scythe
and finally, third, is a Wizard (Envoker). Damage is the best they can do and they can inflict a lot. Wizards are also cool because they don't preticularly need a spellbook, there was something written in one book that described enscribing the wizard's spells as Arcane runes on the Wizard's skin.

Ah, but wizards make up for it with the unlimited number of spells they can aquire, and the ability to scribe scrolls and other's spellbooks into their own.

Also, look into the Spell Mastery feat mrgreen
