I will admit there are many other truthful books out there, but if they conflict with the Bible, then should you not chose the Bible.
Also, many books have good parts, even if everything in them is not good.
The bible has been taken out of context. A lot of things weremgotten wrong, for instance, in the bible you don't hear much about the archangels at all. Tell me, have you read about Rapheal? What about Micheal? Ok, so those are the common ones. But what about the other five? The bible get's the definition of paganism as evil wrong, noone cares to look at how the translation or edits could have changed the information. So, i'm sorry, but if the only truthful book is a book that has so much stuff taken out, then count me out from taking the book that literally. did you know that the animal sacrifices were never supposed to happen? That was a rite borrowed from the idolators! I mean honestly, can you tell me where in the bible it talks about the grigori? Noone knows about them because the bible has been changed so many times the grigori are called "Giants" instead. Plus, 12 apostles, 4 apostle scriptures, yes, there is something missing from there. And then with the Catholic church hiding books from the bible as well. Hell, it's ridiculous how blind people are becoming because they get the bible being the only book shoved down their throat... Now, with all this being true go ahead and tell me that there is nothing missing from the bible. I dare you. There is even an account of the first and second book of adam and eve. And plus, God is always expanding so why would'nt truthful religious text be introduced more of as well. I mean c'mon! I believe in Christ just as much as the next guy, matter of fact, I saw him once. But when you are afraid to give any other point of view a chance just because it conflicts with your own beliefs then that is getting ridiculous. See, we all serve the same God, but, we all see a different part of him, so the part you see and even the part that I see isn't all of him. If you just go by the bible for truth YOU WILL NOT GET ALL THE ANSWERS! Now, I don't mean to get too angry though I am ticked. I probably shouldn't be since I really don't mean to attack. But sometimes my temper gets the best of me, especially when i'm angry or passionate about something. All i'm really saying is this. Give other books besides the bible a chance, Just read and pray, if you get nothing then I guess that's all you were meant to see. But at least you tryed something new.
