I barely wear make-up, except for special occasions and going out. I prefer lip gloss/lipstick with a little mascara. Too much can look weird. Different colored eyeshadows and blush is cute too. But to tell the truth, I don't have that much. I get new make-up after I've used up the other ones. But I suppose it's preference, really. If you spend a whole lotta time or get up really early just to apply make-up...it's just not...neccesary. I don't understand the chicks that put on heaps of make-up at once, it's not natural. And if you don't know how to wear it, just toss it, getting obsessed isn't really worth it, it's just a lil blush, right? Haha. *take that fashion icons*

HauntingEchoes You're lucky.
I'm not good looking, so I kinda do need make-up, the problem being I can't put it on properly.
And I certainly can't make myself look good.
>.<
Oh snap.
I try everyday though, with eyebrow pencil, foundation, lipgloss (liquid and powder) and mascara.

savingzero i know i always seem to have this problem...either i'm wearing to much makeup or not enuf or not the right colors for the season....i just dont get it....so i'm hoping that here we can share some ideas for the do's and dont even think about it's of make up, fashion and nice girl thins in general. Once in a while I wear eyeliner or forndation or mascara but mostly I just pop a stick of gum in my mouth smack some lip gloss on and be juicy and sexy!!!!!!!

for girls of color-i.e., not Caucasian (sorry girls sweatdrop )- I recommend The Beauty of Color by Iman. This book has some really great tips and picture tutorials on mastering tons of cool make-up looks.

I usually don't wear any make up at all, but I just dyed my naturally light hair a super dark color, so I now have to wear mascara to "accent" my eyes and hair. (My mom won't let me out of the house without it.) rolleyes

I only wear make up if I have to. Like in the winter heavy make up keeps your face a little warm. But other than that if I don't have to wear it then forget it you won't see me in it.

I wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis: Foundation, loose powder, 2 kinds of concealer [green for redness, and yellow for gray under-eye circles], mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipgloss.
Sometimes I wear lipstick and lipliner, but not usually.

I have tons of make-up. I hardly wear any of it. The countless lip stick, blush, eye shadow, and mascara that goes unused just sits in my make-up bag. The only thing I use nowadays is foundation and eyeliner.
