Such a similar case happend to me. I was banned for 2 weeks. For basically doing nothing. Someone sent constant false reports about me harassing them. When I wasn't even online, the first warning I received was online. Not talking to the person, ignoring them, but remaining in the same public thread. Never PMed the person, I logged off and the next day I got 2 other warnings and was banned....
They DO NOT investigate anything. They just use blunt force without question.

One more comment to add: I am taking action for my unlawful banning. And am setting up a thread about such things. I would like as much support as I can get. So, if you would be interested, feel free to PM me. I've hoarded up my friends and they are currently working on sigs. This would be quite the gathering and would get the admin's attention. Possibly making them change stuff around.

I'm aware the first post made is old. But, I still must admit, you actually got a response which was human. I let the mod who banned R!C3Y have it. And she told me that 'Bannings are between the user and the mod.' or some s**t. It's not right anymore.
But, I'm not leaving Gaia, me and my young persistence say not to.

This is quite ridiculous, I must say. People need to be more mature about such situations, especially when such a joke is made blatantly obvious.
