Devout christian. also an actor. but I am not judgemental either so...ya. though I have noticed alot of actors arn't christin though they are religous in other ones.

I've been in and out of different religions... most actors I know are Christian and not hardcore about it but they know were they stand. I know alot of agnostic and wiccan actors/techies...
now me, I was christian and pagan (not wiccan, they are two different things) and now I'm changing religions so i choose agnostic for now...
I never let my religion and will never let my religion dictate my want to do a show even if it is contraversional. I'm a actor and a techie. I just seperate the two things, shows and religion.

Jewish techie! more religious than many jews my age in my area but that isn't really saying much.

I b jewish. I be actress. I used to b techie. And there has only ever been one conflict - we were suppsed to cross ourselfs in Pirates of Penzance. Luckily, i was an ensamble, and in the far corner, and the director said I didn't have to. Other than that, nothing.

The theater kids at my school have really diverse backgrounds. Our club president is strongly christian, but there are a lot of Jewish kids, too.
Above all, though, everyone is supersticious as all get out.

I've noticed a lot of actors in both film and theater are Jewish.

Silverah I've noticed a lot of actors in both film and theater are Jewish. That's interesting because in our audition only theatre class I think we only have one jew but he decided he's not Jewish and he;s either aethiest or agnostic... Hmm...

I am actor, techie, AND dancer. I am Christan. Almost everyone I know is Christian. In fact, almost every actor I know is Mormon. Including me. That is the type of community I live in. Does that count?

A lot of the head kids in the drama dept at the moment are christian. But in three years it's going to be a few Jewish girls.

Actor, catholic (like, church-every-flippin'-week catholic.)
However a fair amount of people don't know I'm religious.
Whether or not I agree with what people think or do, I figure if you don't tell me how to live, I won't tell you how to live. To each their own.

Well, here's my theory
Actors tend to be very insecure people who find their louder side onstage
Very insecure people tend to be insecure because they're very different from other people
Atheists and Agnostics are very different from other people
Hence, a lot of actors are Atheists and Agnostics
I know a lot of actors who are Atheist or Agnostic, including myself
It seems to be a fairly predictable trend, although a lot of actors, such as my friend Meredith are Christian or Jewish or Buddhist or whatever
It's just that Atheists and Agnostics seem to find pleasure in acting and not always being so different
But also, a lot of actors are Jewish
I don't know why, but Jews seem to be inherently funny
It could be the silly-sounding Yiddish words
It could be that Jews tend to have large noses, and large noses are funny
I dunno what it is
