Rose Zeller The main thing I don't understand about the Abortion debate is how people can be pro-choice in only some circumstances. Murdering a born child is never ok, even in situations of "self-defence" ... try convincing a judge and jury that your life was in danger from a two-year-old, so you had to kill him. I don't think any woman who is fit to be a mother would choose her own life over her child's, so I don't think that we should perform abortions even if the mother's life is in danger. I think instead of figuring out ways of killing our young, we should be using our medical knowledge to work out ways to save both the mother and the child. I also don't think it should be an option in cases of rape; two wrongs do not make a right, remember? Not to mention, having an abortion can be just as detremental to a woman's state of mind as rape, so she's only doing more damage to herself by having one. And having a child after a rape can often be a healing experience. Here Here I agree , Very well put

You know if you are raped you can call the police and when you go to the hospital they give you something to prevent pregnancy and STDs. And even if you get pregnant anyway you can have the baby and put it up for adoption.

My two cents!!!
There is RIGHT and there is WRONG! Abortion is WRONG!
God says murder is WRONG! Murder is killing another person. A baby is a baby from the time it was conceived. Life is precious and everylife has been given that life. It is WRONG for another human being to take that away from them.
Also, God says that we should wait to have sex until after marriage for a reason, and pregnancy is one of those reasons. If someone doesn't have the will power to listen to God's commands, they have to live with the consequences of their choices. When it comes to rape, I believe that the victim has been given a task to bring a new life into the world and possibly raise the child themselves or put it up for adoption. No matter what happens, you have to remember that God has plans to prosper you and to give you a future. When you take your life into your own hands, that's when everything gets messed up.
And I don't like the excuse of 'it's my life I can do what I want!' That to me is a sign if immaturity. There is a world full of other people to care about besides yourself. God sets laws for a reason. Only to take care of us. Justifying our actions just makes things more painful for us.
And just because we live in America, where we have the freedom to do a lot of different things, doesn't mean we should change and compromise our morals and beliefs
Taking someone's life into our own hands is not a good thing for anyone. All it does is hurt and destroy.

Yes but if someone rapes you without a condom, and you get pregnant, do you want a rapists' baby? A sinners' baby? You don't even know the guy!
***They also didn't have condoms back then, so lots of the stuff that happens in the bible, per say having sex before marriage, could be averted with a condom***

I disagree with abortions in every case. It's not that I am apathetic to the mothers who, for whatever reason (even a valid one like rape, endangerment, or incest), do not want to have a baby. It's that I don't believe that an unborn child is deserving of such a fate.
Many people use phrases like "terminating the pregnancy" to make it more comfortable for them to discuss, but when you get down to it, it's killing a child who's simply not had the opportunity yet to take his first breaths... and deep down, I think we all realize that. We get very upset when we hear about a pregnant woman being shot in the stomach, but something tells me that if a fetus was not a baby, we would care less.
To me, this practice is tantamount to taking a weak person off the street, binding them tightly, plugging his ears and blindfolding him, then walking up and shooting him in the back of the head. He didn't do anything wrong. He didn't know it was coming. But, for whatever reason, someone said they didn't want him around anymore, so they killed him.
And not for nothing, but if I had sex with a woman and gotten her pregnant, I would feel like the child was just as much my responsibility as it was hers, and I'd want a say in what happened to him. It would be devastating to me to find out that simply because she didn't want to have a baby, she went and snuffed out the life of my child. This, to me, would be the worst thing that a human being could do to another.

Yes you are killing a potential human life
But I don't see Pro-life advocates giving a flying ******** what happens to the child after birth
Like the child was born in absolute poverty with 6 other children
Or the mother was a victim of rape
Yeah real nice
Besides
It isn't my right to say a woman can't have an abortion
The parents of the child should be allowed to choose weather or not they want the child
It shouldn't be left up to some random a** hole to say
"No. You have to have the baby and raise it in poverty"
So it can like, die at the age of 15
Aren’t you starting to love the hypocrisy?
