Well, I did it. I am now Arch-Mage Kenac... And Mannimarco was the biggest wussie of a boss I've ever seen. Really, I turned the difficulty down all the way, one hit kill with my enchanted glass dagger. Half-way, about 30 seconds. Some king.
Anyway, the chest sounds awesome. 3nodding

It was moreso about how Mannimarco was a pitiful excuse of a boss. On the chest, you can place alchemical ingredients in it, and you get 10 more.

Kenac ...Mannimarco was the biggest wussie of a boss I've ever seen. Really, I turned the difficulty down all the way, one hit kill with my enchanted glass dagger. Half-way... That would make sense, then. Try it with the difficulty up.

I havent fought him yet but there have been alot of dissapointing bosses, like the gray prince in the arena, i was looking forward to kicking his a**, but he just lets you kill him. I would have kicked hisass too, i have all dwarven armor, stel gauntlets, and a steeel shield, with a dwarven longsword with fire augment, so i hit him with is he lights on fire, its sweet.

He thought he was an abomination after you brought him the journal. Try beating him without doing that mission. Edit: He's only level ten, actually. Not ten above you, but just level ten. He's has no level offset. So if you're above level ten, it should be easy.

I just defeated him too and man. Worst "fight" ever. D:
So, I got into the room that he was in (with the skeletal finger-things around the outside of the little island area). So I snuck across the bridge, approached him from the left. Then, he saw me, and "raised" the sketetal things to trap me in, I guess. But something glitched so I ended up in the water, on the outside of the skeletal things with him on the inside.
So I made my way back around to the little bridge part, and he was just standing there, trapped inside, summoning crap (which was also trapped inside).
So I just blasted him a few times with some fire spells, and he died. Then the skeletal things lowered again, and I got the staff.
But damn, that was too easy.
Heh, it was kinda funny afterwards though. I took his staff and his robe, and then I reanimated him. So then it was like "Janna's Mannimarco", and he was following me around naked for 30 seconds. Har har, so humiliating.

What Kenac saidbut the Gray Prince is only 10? That is low and it must be easy to beat him I heard people say that he was hard and that you should do his quest so you don't have to face him when he was easy all along

I killed him too very easily, lol, I had better fights with lower Necromancers than with him!
I loved his Staff of Worms...but I wonder, is there a way to make it stronger??? Perhaps that Alter of enchantment (the book holder thing at Frostcraig Spire) can make it stronger? I don't want to reanimate people for a mere 20 seconds or so.

It was hell for me. Not Mannimarco, but the freaking enemies in the cave. I said "Okay, screw this!" and ran for Mannimarco, dodging everything/one else. I managed to get to him, killed him, looted the body, became over-encumbered, dropped stuff, ran all through the cave again, still dodging everything.
Then I make it outside, and that Ogre I had been eluding before has killed my friend (aka my white horse) and mode of escape, is coming after me, necromancers are pouring out of the cave to pursue me, and in all the commotion a MOUNTAIN LION spots me, so I made a mad run for Bruma. Finally safe, I went to the Arcane University to obtain my much deserved reward- the title of Arch Mage Anima.
