I wouldn't even recommend it. Not even on the road, I would rather take my mouthpeice and buzz.

leapep Er.... I have a pocket trumpet; I pray that's not the only trumpet you have. Pocket trumpets are normally out of tune, often slow in the keys, have an irritating way of being held, are extremely hard to keep un-damaged, and are only to be used, really, when you need to practice on the road, but don't have much room for a full trumpet. Then you should use one; not for regular use. Ever. I have a pocket trumpet, and a regular trumpet.

Transiberian Orchestra For those who don't know the cuteness of pocket trumpets- I love pocket trumpets, although I am a flute player. I went to Honor Band recently, and one of the conductors for us had to help the trumpets with their piece, so he used his pocket trumpet. Pockets are much smaller than in the picture, though. Nah... it's actual size!! rofl ! no just kiddin'. But yeah I admit they're pretty cute!

Zingriego HEY! Did you all hear about the four-year-old child prodigy on the trumpet? He plays a pocket trumpet and it's SO cute! Despite the smallness of it, he still has trouble pushing down the valves because of his tiny hands. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/01/10/earlyshow/contributors/melindamurphy/main1195835.shtml awww, thats sooo cute!!!!! biggrin (i want kids one day....)
