I really wanted to participate with the Day of Silence.
I basically did when I wasn't in class, but I needed a note stating that I couldn't talk in class.
(& I didn't have one, so I had to talk in class to my teachers & such when it came to answers & everything)

Last year I gave alot of my teachers a note. But my english teacher asked me a question in class and I had to answer. sweatdrop So I didn't stay with the silence for the rest of the day.
