Cosworth started to laugh. "No, we don't need the maps. 'Las Vegas' is the name of the best restaraunt in the area. I've been there a couple of times. The owner really doesn't care what anybody looks like as long as they pay. And its much better food than drive through."

"Hmm... Well,.. 'breakfast' for most is in about eleven hours. But the guys there have made me breakfast at night before. It just depends on what you want." After piling into the car they were on their way. Once there they were greeted by the manager and were then seated. After seeing the newly arriving guests, some of the customers began to get nervous, while others started to complain. Upon hearing this the manager seated the four at a table, went over to the unhappy guests, and politely told them that if they had a problem with paying customers comming in to get food, that they should either find another restaurant or eat their own food and mind their own business. After about ten minutes of the 'strange' customers doing nothing but order their food, the other customers began to relax.

Still waiting for his food, Cosworth overheard part of somebody's conversation. He didn't really mean to, but hearing the word 'gargoyles' brought his attention to a couple two tables over. He looked over at one of the mirrors on the wal, there was a girl staring at their table. Not a big deal, but now that he knew, it was going to bug him, just as it does anybody who knows they're being stared at. So, he just glanced over, looked at the girl, gave her a friendly smile, and turned back. The food had arrived.

GargGuy:Cosworth looked up from his food and looked at Sasuke, "Yeah, you're probably right. She seems like she wants to talk to us." After a while Cosworth finished his food. Getting up from the table, he walked over to the other table, pulled up a chair, and sat down. Looking over at the girl, he introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Cosworth."

Before Cosworth could say another word, Ava was gone. Cosworth looked back to the table he was at before. The only reply he got back was a shrug from Lex. Walking back over to the table with the others he sat down by his food and looked back toward the rear door where Ava had left. Turning back to his food, Cosworth heard a distant yell, "I WAS TALKING TO HIM." He looked at Brooklyn, "If the manager asks, I'll be back." With that, he got up from his chair and went out into the rear parking lot.
Upon arrival in the lot, Cosworth saw something that he had no words for. The girl that he had seen in the restaurant had just changed. As he was about to go over to Ava, the boy turned around. Jumping back into the shadows, Cosworth climbed up onto the restaurant roof. Up on the roof, he found a lot of junk that had been tossed up there by the everyday idiots that roam the streets. Included in this variety of junk were many small pebbles.
From down on the street, all one could see were pebbles being tossed over the edge. That is, if they looked carefully. After about thirty seconds, he gave up on trying to just throw them near Ava, so instead, he just grabbed five up off the roof, and tossed the light pebbles at her wings.
"Hey, Up here. It's me."

Cosworth looked around for a couple of seconds. The other man was no longer in sight. "Hey Ava, stay here for a minute. I'll be right back." Jumping down off the rooftop, he ran inside to go tell the others. "Hey, you're done with your food, good, come with me." Cosworth threw a tip down on the table, ran to the front counter, handed the lady the money for the food, and then ran out the back door. Brooklyn got up from the table, "Well, I guess we should see what this is all about."

Once they were all up on the rooftop, Lex asked Ava his question, "So, what's your story?"
