"For now Mina I'm not going anywhere, and Dark, he won't leave you or run." Daisuke sat near to the femme and get his gaze to the sky a contented smile upon his face, he had a good feeling and much to think about. "I hope we can both learn that virtue from you."

Laughter filled his eyes, "Ah, m'dear, I never claimed such a thing; you see, those that say they've found love at first sight are fools, and though I might be many things, I am no fool," his paws kept on carrying him elegantly across the forest floor, and though there was actually a distinct wobble to his pace, it didn't quite manage to marr the male's natural elegance, "Love at first sight, m'dear, is not true love, but mere infatuation, and that, if I do say so myself, is one of the most dangerous things in life, for it does not allow you to see clearly, and can quite easily blind you as to what reality is."
At this point, the Penguin stop mid step, almost as if pondering a thought that had struck him right that instant, however, the hesiation only lasted a second and he was walking again, nodding softly to himself, "Crushes have... that wrongness to them, however, as the saying goes; It is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all," another nod, "All that I know is that if you ever chose someone to give your love to..." eyes narrowed at this point, "Do stay away froma dark fellow with coppery alluring wings; I might just have to interfere were that the case, as you are the first feli ever I have concidered important in any way..."
It was true too; Oswald had found Tria to be excellent company.... one that was nor afraid of him, nor intimidated, and made for great conversation. In fact, even though he did not believe in love at first sight, he know when he felt attatched to someone; even though he'd only just met her, he did concider her to be a good friend, even now, "Now now," he tsked, "I never asked you to be my lover; like I said, I would not wish that role upon many others. You are not mine to marr, however, I would never say no to a good company like that which you offer; if you're willing to lend me an ear and a mouth for conversation, I'll do likewise" turning his head, he smirked at her, however, there was also gleam within his eyes that seemed to promise ... protection perhaps.

((La dee daa, new a few days later and shizz))
Butter? .... no, ew. Not butter
...Milk? Well, milk seemed to be a better idea, but still not what she craved.
... ...
Cookies?
The female's ears suddenly perked at the thought; Yes! Midnight cookies! That's just what she needed! And thus, Mina kicked the fridge closed, making her way to a cupboard instead, poking her inside the space as she searched about for such wonderful things known as cookies, "Cookie power~~ cookie power~~" she chirped happily as she wiggled her rump in the air.
"Mina... will you PLEASE just take something? We've been inside the kitchen for a bleeding hour, and tell truth, I wish to get back to my own meal," a frustrated looking Demon sat nearby, his brow furrowed as his ears flattened back; the vampire's tummy was indeed demanding to be fed, however, Mina's father had made Demon promise he'd stick around the young adult, for Phileas knew Demon was harmless.... while other feli were not. At least not during the nighttime, which lately seemed to be Mina's favorite time to stay awake.
Needless to say that being a vampire, Demon was usually up and around during the night and thus, had allowed her father to 'bully' him, per say, into babysitting, "You should be asleep, and god damn it, why do i have to babysit you anyhow?" the words were grumped slightly as the masked feli let out a sigh.
"Daddy said so? Besides, I never asked you to; I can care for myself," as the female stuck her head out of the cupboard, she carried a pack of nice chocolate cookies in her mouth, the box, needless to say marring the natural elegance of her usual speach, "We can go now"
"THank heaven..." however, the male did not move till Mina trotted out of the kitchen and towards the living room, "God help me."

"I ever said that you did, but I know of the folly and blindness of infatuation, what I don't know is what this thing called true love feels like first hand, but no worries..." Tria noted the wobble in his walk and mentally she reminded herself of his earlier trauma, if he began to act more erratically she would ask him to turn back on her account for his well being was still main in her mind.
"Ah my good sir," she put a bit of a serious tone to her voice, "I have to disagree with you on that, most passionately, tis not better to have loved and lost..." She gave him a sideways glance. "This would be Nagumo I think? Tomoko's boy? I don't know him, and am not interested in knowing one like that, but I thank you kindly sir for your concern." Tria found herself walking nearer to Oswald than what might be considered personal space and so she slowly began to drift just a step away but she smiled so if he noticed he would not think her too close.
"You can have two ears when ever you like my friend and my mouth or whatever else, as long as you continue to treat me kindly, one need not ask for that, I think, it might make it to formal."

"Smart gal," he murmured as she soon enough picked up on the fact he was refering to Nagumo, "Indeed, you'd do best to stay away from those like him; they only seek to feed off from the pain they inflict on others," a pause, followed by a frown, "I'd also advise you to stay away from... a green haired demon boy, for though he doesn't feed from pain, he feeds from lust, which is quite as bad, I'd say. Has a charming little sister, though, he has," his eyes drifted back towards her, a brow arching, "Ah, but it IS better to have loved and lsot than to never have loved, for you see, you can't quite compare that feeling with another; if you ever fall into true love, fret not, you'll know."
Oswald had in fact noticed that she kept on regarding his pace, and after a while could not help but chuckle faintly, "This is the way I usually walk, m' dear; ever wonder why they call me Penguin? It's not merely due to my phisique, love," this said, he nodded, his tail adquiring a light swishing that clearly indicated he was enjoying himself, having not minded her drifting nearer, though he did smirk as she seperated herself from his frame.
He found her to be oddly amusing, all in all.
Laughter rung through him at her final words, "You're quite in luck, m'dear!" he said suddenly, "For were I not a gentleman I might've taken those words the wrong way," at this point, the meadow and house were distinguished in the distance, and the Penguin set course towards them.

The female's ears perked instantly, the voice having been recognised even before she stepped into the living room, however, she wished not to sacrifice dropping the box of cookies she was carrying in order answer; thus so, she hastened her step to a trot, entering the room, Daisuke's form finally visible. Upon reaching his side, she placed the box carefully between them both and sat down, "I see you're up too; don't you get any sleep?"
Having followed closely behind, Demon's eyes became heavy lidded, a distinctly audiable sigh escaping his maw, fangs easily displayed in the process, "I'm sure the boy could pose you the same question, my dear; you should be asleep," it wasn't that the vampiric-feli was sleepy. Not really, however, he wouldn't have minded sleep, rather than having to keep up with the girl's pace; she seemed to have more energy than three feli put together, which was quite odd, seeing as how this usually happened at nightime, rather than by day.
Alas...
The red kit would surely pose no threat to his charge, and thus, Demon brushed past them slightly, opened his bat wings and jumped onto the sofa; it'd be easier to reach the table lamp's cable from there, which he did instantly before placing it between his paws, "Why don't you offer him some of your cookies?" the words were drawled lazily by the vampire before he lay down on some coushins and firmly bit into the cable, allowing himself to suck electricity till the lights flickered around the house, at which point he let go, pushed the cable aside and lay his head over his paws, merely watching them.
"Oh!" the single word was said as the idea enlighted her, "Right!" she opened her box, having not turly even been playing Demon much attention at all; after all, she'd grown up around him, he was 'daddy's friend', "Here!" having stuck her maw into the box, Mina swiftly retrieved two cookies, one of which she offered Daisuke quite happily, "I can't sleep."
A grunt was emitted by the vampire, followed by a snort, "I wonder WHY," he rolled his eyes slightly before allowing his lids to fall under his mask, and though he appeared to be quite 'dead' for he wasn't breathing, the slight twitch of his ears every now and then reassured any outlooker... that he was perfectly 'undead'.

"I don't want nor need any pain in my life so I'll heed your advice, and stay far from feli as such but I don't know this green haired one, who is he?" Tria realized yet again that she really knew so few, though when she thought about it, the ones she did know she held close to her heart if she could and so quality over quantity was her next thought. The orange and green pelted girl didn't want to argue her thoughts on love, true or not, at this time, she had gone through such a time of heart dizziness that led her no-where she felt she'd not win her case anyway and so she left the matter in the air, so to speak.
Tria next lifted her head and began to copy the manner with which the male walked just a little. "I have a tendency to walk nearer and nearer to whom I am walking with, until before I know it I and either walking in their path or upon their toes, bumping into them the least of my thoughts I guess, it is not something I think about until I notice that I am doing it again." She grinned at him, this explanation something that embarrassed her a little and was not shared with anyone else yet. A faint blush grew under her green furred cheeks at what she had formerly said, she was naive, but still what she had meant was innocent and she'd not thought about other meanings. "I am glad then that you are a gentleman then, forgive my tongue for sometimes it does not consult with my brain before flapping!"

A pause, his paws finally stepping over the meadow grass, "A green haired feli; demon straight out from hell, and quite literally at that... wears black and usually sports a galant smile," he seemed to be trying to draw a picture with the female's mind at this point, "Golden eyes, and fangs to boot; however, unlike myself, they don't quite give him a dangerous edge. I've heard femmes say he's distinctly attractive," chuckling he turned his head to face her, "Tell truth, I live with him; my human owns quite a few feli, so thus how I know him and Nagumo..."
Noting she had not replied, the Penguin was quite smart enough to not press the issue any further; after all, to each their own, as the saying went. Everyone was entittled to diferent thoughts, and his were no better than anyone else's. He knew that much.
"Gentleman I might be m'dear, however, I am very much a male, and you can not blame my mind for thinking as such," another chuckle as his eyes left her, having noticed her blush and figuring it'd be wise to allow her to clam down before looking back towards, "I won't bite if you stumble upon me, nor will I snap if you step on my toes, love; I feel honored you feel like walking that close to me," That much was true; after all, most others had decided that holding their distance with him was a better bet, "Tongues tend to do that...." it was murmured, almost as an afterthought, another chuckle running through him.

"I sleep, and he sleeps, though rarely at the same time, which is a slight problem when we take to napping when in lovely company." This was Dark's apology for the other day, he didn't think she'd taken offence but wanted to say such just the same. He had missed out on Daisuke's confession to Mina and the red youth had not told him of it and so he was in the dark standing with his light.
Daisuke's red eyes were narrowed minimally as the one called Demon passed him by with such a comment. He was irritated slightly about being thought a child, this form he thought with an inward snarl before noticing the odd behavior of this feli and then the flickering of the lights. The dark feli was one that Dark thought would be an interesting study to say the least. Maybe this one had the same case as he did, remembering another world, another time, he would inquire but at another time, for she spoke.
Dark accepted the cookie but didn't begin to eat it right away, "Thank you." Pause. "Why is that, do you think?" He ignored the comment from the interesting one, and didn't take notice of his state of 'unlife' in resting. Sarcastic comments didn't help his mood and so he moved closer to the fire - away from the couch and hoped Mina would follow, he settled onto a rather large cushion.
"If Mina-san likes him then he must not be all that bad Dark." The kit spoke just to Dark, inserting his own thoughts more often while still keeping his mind at bay.

Tria allowed herself to walk nearer to the male once more as they made their way through the yard of the house, she was a feli that longed for affection if not for love, she enjoyed sitting on a large cushion with Almy when they shared the long winter's nights together - closeness and contact being nothing more than two female friends sharing warmth and hearth. Before her mind had led her to acquaint the closeness shared with her friends as something more and she had fallen into the before mentioned crushes, and so her mind had set her to worrying that she couldn't get too close to anyone but she still slipped.
The female nodded at the description setting it in her mind with a red flag, "Ah, so you warn me off your own 'kin'?" Her eyes smiled she understood that it was not quite that, but still she teased.
"I wonder how good I am at being a Lady?" Tria asked as the minor blush faded from her cheeks. With my flapping tongue, restless mind, and dizzy heart... unspoken thoughts bubbling up.
