Heya. I got my account back recently and have been enjoying playing with the avvi dress up and playing some of the minigames and such again. It's all been very nostalgic. I am not necessarily a newbie to Gaia but definitely been getting reacquainted with how much has changed on this site since I last actively used it.
Looking to make some new friends to chat with, and I'm also writing a blog post about Gaia, as part of a series about virtual social worlds, explaining what it is and if I think it's worth spending time on this site in 2025 and stuff like that.

Due to server migration, Gaia is going through issues, which we hope will end soon due to being near the tail end of it now. I hope you still find fun things to do!

Thanks! Yeah I have noticed it's been a little bit crazy and I read the post in Lanzer's work diary about it, it seems kind of scary and crazy for the team who run the site. It's ok though, I don't mind being forced to do other things for a while if the site is ever down anyway lmao.
