I wanted to give this post a home since I was also sharing it as a guild announcement. I wanted future members and returning ones to be able to read it for themselves.
My wording got a bit ahead of myself - by new lakes I meant to say in a sense the same lakes, just a whole ne environment. No longer did I have to use the World Map to get around - the lakes were right there to access!
A lot changed since my first days of Gaia. My whole life is so much different now. One thing I did not mention, but want to now, is that I am very grateful for my husband in supporting this journey as well. His nostalgia for online gaming is what inspired me to come back to Gaia in the first place in 2015, and I am very fortunate for him being by my side. He doesn't really play Gaia (I actually convinced him to make an account just so we could wed in the game when the marriage feature came out) - but, he is still my biggest fan. heart
And again, thank you ALL OF YOU over the years for helping this guild, this cause, and me as a person to grow. I feel I have become so much better at communication, leadership, idea pitching, and even financial wisdom as well. I have learned so much from you all. Thank you!
