Who is this Phox? What are they like? What has their life been like so far?
Ginyami is the sort of Phox who is all friendly, cheerful, people-pleasing, and smiles on the outside but selfish, ambitious, proud, arrogant, and vindictive on the inside. He's very good at deceiving people, however; so good that he even deceives himself.

An example of this is that he goes by the nickname 'Yami' which means 'darkness' in Japanese, However, just as 'Yami' is not all there is to his name, 'darkness' is not all there is to him. He has the philosophy that he has to be the worst evil out there in order to protect those he cares about from being taken advantage of by other evils of the world which is why he is the way he is because he believes selfish and deceitful individuals who know how to get around systems are the ones who really know how to make their way in such a cruel world by stepping on others.

If he is the most selfish and deceitful of all, however, then he believes he can successfully take care of those he selfishly holds most dear to him. For reasons such as this, he has been known to those he cares about as being 'questionably kind'.

Strengths:
Pleasing - Ginyami tends to cater others in any way he can. He pays attention to what they like, who they know, and where they spend their time. In addition, he memorizes birthdays as well as personal tastes in food, hobbies, and other favorites. With this information, he schedules outings with others, whether in groups or alone according to their preferences, to apply and demonstrate the knowledge. Ginyami is also careful to keep in mind the nature of others in regards to being introverts and extroverts so that he doesn’t unintentionally cause them discomfort. Not only does he make as many friends as he can in this way, but he befriends friends of friends in order to win the approval of and build rapport with everyone. By making himself easy to get along with, he finds he is able to network almost effortlessly.

Brazen - This bold phox is very unabashed about nearly everything he does. He is very difficult to embarrass, and even when he is, he plays it off in such a way that it becomes challenging to tell. No matter how shameful or humiliating, if a deed will win someone’s favor or otherwise benefit him, this guy will do it without a second thought. If something potentially awkward happens unexpectedly, even if it’s detrimental to his plans, he’ll go with the flow and act as though he intended it all along. If insulted or mocked, instead of reacting with embarrassment or anger, Ginyami will behave as if the offense were a joke made for his benefit and laugh while taking it in stride. He doesn't usually second-guess himself and is hardly ever swayed or bothered by others' negative opinions of him when he makes his decisions.

Shrewd - As carefree and easy-going as Ginyami might act in public, he is, in fact, extraordinarily cunning. With as much time as he spends with others, attending to them and every non-verbal bit of communication they send both intentionally and unintentionally, he has learned to perceive and pick up on things most others might miss. Furthermore, he has learned how to interpret those subtle observations and minute details into underlying meanings which allow him to speculate others’ thoughts and intentions better than the average being, whether phox or human. When he is among those he wants to think well of him, he is also careful to appear confident and composed with a self-assured demeanor by seeming like he always knows what he’s doing whether he actually does or not.

Ambitious - However laid back he may seem, Ginyami always has plans. Big plans. He is always looking to improve his situation and is a very motivated individual with his eyes on the prize. If he has his sights set on something, he will do anything and everything in his power to achieve it no matter how much time or effort it takes. His strong desire and determination to succeed stimulate him into working hard, being resourceful, and being committed to his goals. If it's in his best interests to help someone else, he will do whatever he can to assist them with zeal, often going above and beyond expectations. With the big picture in mind, he knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go for it regardless of what obstacles might stand in his way.


Faults:
Egotistic - Although Ginyami makes observations and uses them to feign consideration for others, he doesn’t really care about too many others other than himself. His egoism, or his preoccupation with himself, is a direct result of his egotism, or his inflated sense of self-importance. Ginyami takes the most pride in his intelligence and overall abilities to achieve his aims. Though he does appreciate his looks and values keeping up a good image appearance-wise, he is more preoccupied with and proud of maintaining a good image reputation-wise. This priority may seem to contradict his sycophantic tendencies due to the loss of dignity associated with bootlicking, but his ego is much too large to be punctured, dented, or even scratched so easily. If brown-nosing gains him favor with people he believes can benefit him, he doesn’t consider it harmful to his image. In fact, he’s more likely to be pleased with his capacity to a**-kiss than he is to be ashamed of it. This grossly enlarged, nearly impervious ego is what allows him to be so obsequious without losing a smidge of self-respect.

Sycophantic - To his superiors – such as those who are older or have more power or experience than him - and those he believes will be of use to him in the future, Ginyami is a hopeless sycophant. He can be servile, unctuous, ingratiating, and an overall kiss-a** to the point of being repulsively obsequious. In truth, his fawning and flattery are all a charade, of course, because his ego is too large for him to much revere anyone else. This makes him terribly two-faced and duplicitous. In order to get what he wants, though, nothing seems to be beneath Ginyami’s dignity. He will shamelessly do what is asked of him by those he wants to curry favor with (such as his superiors) without hesitation no matter how low he has to stoop provided he believes it will gain him merit. Though he prefers to meet his goals through sucking-up, flattery, bribery, deceit, and as little effort on his part as possible, he is always willing to use threats, blackmail, and just plain old sheer force if necessary.

Flippant - To those he deems as useless to him or his objectives, (a group including the majority of his peers and even a few of his superiors,) Ginyami is often unabashedly cheeky without the slightest pretense of politeness or respect. He will frequently try to offload his more grueling tasks on to others without too much concern about whether or not said tasks are carried out correctly or well. Facitious as he is, there isn’t too much or too many people he’s willing to take seriously when he’s showing his true colors. His ego occasionally makes him over-confident so that he sometimes takes things more lightly than he should.

Vindictive - If someone wrongs this phox or gets in the way of him and his goals, he may outwardly act completely unaffected, but mentally, he will already be plotting his revenge. Though he gives off the impression of being constantly amicable and merry, he is inwardly malicious, resentful, and has a nearly implacable temper if ignited. Ginyami is not the sort to either forget or forgive if he is slighted. He will hold a grudge for as long as is necessary to obtain adequate vengeance against his offender. Ginyami’s idea of adequate vengeance usually involves several times the suffering intended by the offender with the original offense. Seeking a swift vengeance is reckless and rash in his opinion because it’s more likely for his schemes to fail or his victim’s punishment to be intolerably weak. The phox is partial to the pain of his enemies being slow and tortuous, so he would much rather take his time in making plans and carrying them out. For this reason, he is the sort who prefers to be patient and wait as long as necessary to complete the preparations for the most ideal form of retribution. While he waits, Ginyami is happy to play nice with his victims, even going so far as to give them the impression they are on good terms with him until the ripest moment when his revealed betrayal would be icing to the cake of his sweet revenge.
