Using them to pass the time mindlessly when he’s bored. He may not be the best at any of them, but hey- it's a way to pass the time

﹒⪩ has been a sport Hanako once participated out of boredom and somehow managed to stick to all through schooling. He attends a bi-weekly class just to make sure his skills don’t get too rusty. ﹒⪩ is a nostalgic hobby for Hanako. What started out with his grandmother teaching him traditional japanese tea ceremonies, grew into an interest in different plants, herbs, flowers that could drastically change the flavors of tea, and resulted in occasional bursts of motivation to throw tea parties despite the lack of friends for it. So he makes solo tea parties instead. Hanako makes time in his schedule to instill the tranquillity and discipline of tea ceremonies and trying out different tea recipes alone. It takes a lot for him to share this moment with others.

﹒⪩ because Hanako thrives on surface level relationships. Often loving the usual reactions he gets from it. From absolute disgust, or an embarrassed flush. Flirting ensures most people understand he is only here in the present for a good time, not a long time. The second he feels someone is starting to get attached to him, he withdraws. ﹒⪩ It’s very easy to tell Hanako cares for his appearance. As if being a model wasn’t enough of an indicator, Hanako doesn’t hide how much he likes the way he looks. Often referring to himself as ‘handsome’ or ‘good-looking’ with confidence that most can’t disagree with him. He carefully picks his clothes, hair, and occasionally experiments with different make-up and styles. He is the type to grin at his own reflection even when passing by window displays of stores. He gets distracted when others shower him with compliments related to his appearance.
