He is most often seen wearing simple, durable attire that is strong and resilient to damage. He carries a large backpack that has everything he needs to aid him in camping, fishing, and hiking.

Personality: Asher is motivated to help those in need. He tends to put the needs of others above his own, and often forgets that he is only human. Once he has put his mind to something, it's all that he thinks about until he accomplishes his goal. He is very kind, and loves to laugh. He enjoys nice people, but he's a bit unskilled when it comes to socializing. But if you happen to befriend him, you have a loyal, trustworthy friend that will move heaven and earth to help you out.

Biography: Asher Brooks was born into his family as their second child. His older father, sister, and mother welcomed him with happiness and open arms. His early childhood was simple enough. His father was a Pokemon ranger in the Sinnoh region, with his mother being a stay-at-home-mother for him and his sister Selena. Their days were filled with play, and their little family was happy for the most part. They had their little tiffs, but every family does. From an early age, Asher showed interest in Pokemon and his father's work. So he often accompanied Noah on his lighter expeditions.
One fateful day, around the age of eight, Asher and his family were out for a picnic in the wilds. Asher loved being outdoors, so he was especially excited for their trip. While his family ate, Asher got bored and wandered out into the woods to play. While he meandered, he noticed a wild Combee and chased it deeper into the woods to its' hive. Upon arrival, a wild Ursaring was there, helping himself to the honey. It noticed him and became aggressive. It charged him, and he fell backwards on a root. As the bear reared up to slash Asher, his mother appeared and stood in front of her son, guarding him from the onslaught. It struck her savagely, and she was knocked into the tree by Asher. She told him to run and get his father. Too scared to argue, he bolted. The last thing he saw was the Pokemon standing over his mother. The last thing he heard was its' terrifying roar. He ran back to his family, barely able to tell his father what happened due to his fear. After he finally found out what was happening, his father dashed off in the direction he came from, telling his sister to watch Asher. Many hours passed before his father appeared, carrying the body of his beloved wife in his arms. It was too late, she was gone.
Their family was never the same after that. Noah, unsure of how to raise his children, threw himself into his work, more and more through the years. Although his father understood the dangers of the wilds and never blamed his son, Asher came to blame himself for his mother's death, and did whatever he thought he could to make up for it. He started helping his father with his work as a ranger, and learned skills to help him.
Around the age of fourteen, Asher and his father were on a job when they came across a lone, baby Shinx that looked close to death. It was small, and Noah surmised that it was a runt and its' mother abandoned him to better take care of her other cubs. The duo took it home and nursed him back to health. When Asher thought they were going to release the cub back into the wild, his father told him that the Shinx would never survive on his own, and he was essentially part of the family. Over time, Asher and the Shinx bonded, and he took to calling him Radar.
Asher and Radar continued to help their father until he was eighteen. It was time for Asher to become an adult, and gain his ranger's license. His father told him about the trainer academy in the Kimchi Region where he attended classes and Asher agreed to go there to finish his schooling. With Radar in tow, the aspiring ranger got on a boat and set sail for Blume Town.
