Just to get discussion going, what genres from this guild's list are your favourite or preferred kinds of rps?

I like: slice of life, furry, magical, yaoi, best friends, anime related and romance.

Solving a mystery could be fun too. And for medieval, I prefer it to be in a fantasy setting, where they use magic to compensate for the lack of science and technology. Walk in threads are okay...but I tend to get bored quickly if there's not much of a plot. So I'm more casual with those and tend to drop out if there are no new developments.

Otherwise, I'm usually passionate about crafting a story together with others and I'll brainstorm, research and write multi paragraph posts. I do enjoy rping multiple characters as well. Usually separating them by breaker lines ======= or bolded/coloured text. Sometimes images.

I love fancy/pretty posts but I don't remember how to make them. It can take a long time to do a post when you have to sit there n do all the text formatting and stuff. I know there was a way to set it up so it does it automatically but I'd have to read the info again because I've long since forgotten lol.

Do you like mixing genres together? That's something I like to do. I've never really seen any Western rps around though. But I usually scan the Gaian Neighborhood sub for old orphanage, daycare and family rps to read. It makes me wish I could go back in time and join them.

And it gives inspiration for making my own similar rps. But I have to try to limit myself so I don't get overwhelmed by too many rps. I often get sick and it can take me 2+ weeks to post sometimes. And I always feel so bad about making people wait that long.

So I prefer people with slower post rates like myself. But some of them are even slower than me. So when I'm all caught up on posts and tempted to join or make yet ANOTHER rp, I message or ping my rp friends to do a reply to stop me obsessively adding another one lol. I just can't help myself.
