Autumn glanced up, a little surprised at who decided to come over to try to give her some comfort, of course he didn't know a single thing about that hat, as like most of them, it was just a silly hat. "...It's not just a simple hat. " She responded, looking at him. "It's more to me then that.." She paused a moment. "..Buster Sword--It's very important to you too, isn't it? Without it, what would you do? I doubt you can rely on your fists for everything, right? You're whole fighting style relies on that sword..Well, mine isn't a sword..." Looking down again, she sighed softly. "I can't do anything. Were on a ship, she's out there in the middle of the ocean with it. What can I do in a situation like this? " Her attention raised a moment, as her eyes found their way to her sister.. "............" Her expression was enough to convey her feelings, rather then actual words that would just lead them into another argument. It was better to stay silent, to avoid anymore fights with her sister! She didn't exactly want to constantly get into debates with her so they could both become awkward again!
"..Wha--!! " Annette's face lit up a slight shade of pink, being completely out of the water and so exposed to the world to see what she was, well...it was kind of embarrassing! She was much like her mermaid mother in that instance! "I'm quite able to....O-Oh fine.." It was a trigger that brought about some shyness, something so very rare to her, but the perk was....she was in HIS arms, how could she stay so embarrassed? ...even if the situation was a little....odd! It was also good to be extra close to him, in the case of the shark here. She still didn't trust it!
With the shark as Reiners new ocean mount to ride to 'battle', it was soon that they would come upon her younger sister who amusingly, looked just about as puzzled and perplexed as she imagined she might. Reiner was unpredictable! "...Ah-haha...Hello, little sis..You know...you left so quickly, I didn't even get to give you a hug..and well, I still would like to! ...Though you can see, that's not so possible here in the middle of the ocean..Why don't we all just return to the ship? Come back with us, where it's safe and we'll spend time together. After everything that happened recently, and everyone being taken away...I really don't want you to be alone. Will you please come back with us? "

 "Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your SOLDIER honor." "Well, actually..." Zack put a hand to his hip, gesturing as he spoke. "I'm pretty capable with martial arts. The guy who taught me most of what I know about fighting, he told me once that if you're nothing without your weapon then you shouldn't have it. Sure, I'm most experienced with a sword, but if someone took it away I could still fight. It's more important than just a tool for fighting, anyway... I try not to use it too much." When he did use the Buster Sword, he tended to use the blunt side of it to not bring undue wear, tear, and rust. That would be a real waste... right? "...You fight with a hat?" Pretty bizarre, but it could be more so. She could be dancing with a clock while fighting with her hat. "What can you do? How about think about everything she said? Think about why things have gotten here. Think about how bad it feels to be helpless without your weapon. Prepare for when you meet again. Get it?" Even if she couldn't fly out there and talk to her right now, there were much more useful things she could be doing than moping."Ah, I forgot how cute you were in this form!" Reiner said without a second thought or care in the world as he began to princess carry the obviously uncomfortable mermaid! "You should put your arms around me for stability!" He reminded her, once again saying something like that with no hesitation. As per usual, he didn't consider any atypical way something like this could be taken!"..." Mordi's expression remained the same as ever as she beheld the absurd scene before her once the trio made their way to her. "...Annette seems too busy with her boyfriend to hug Mordi." She responded flatly. "Mordi is used to being alone. Nobody has to start caring about that now..." She shook her head, unwilling to accompany them. She raised an arm though, as the other one clutched Autumn's oversized hat, pointing to nearby land. "Annette and her boyfriend can come with Mordi there, if you want." She said, before continuing on her way towards the land. She wasn't going back, but they could come with her forward, if they decided to... (( OOC: ))

"Okay..So you may have skills in martial arts too, but my situation is a little different from yours. You were trained to be a tough SOLDIER, of course you're the best of the best. Where as I..." She paused, glancing to Minerva and giving her a look that clearly conveyed how she wanted her privacy! A less rude way of telling her to leave them, she didn't feel comfortable talking about the obvious with her around, it would likely only end up in another argument! "I do things my own way, that hat isn't just what you think. It holds a special relic, it's only with the relic that I can use the magic I've used for years. I never had interest in fighting like everyone else, magic is my forte! It can do everything for me..I've learned my own spells from studying spell books of my own choices, basically, I've self-taught myself everything since I was given that relic..It's been a part of me for so long, it's the only way I will ever choose to fight..." She sighed in irritation, how was it that in all those years, she managed to keep it safe, only to have it kidnapped by cute Mordi? What a moment! "...My point is..That's my way, and now that only way to be of any help is in the hands of my irritatingly cute friend..who's apparently angry with me. " She sighed again, how was she even going to get it back from the girl who could pull up quick sand from under her if she wanted! ..As if she would, but still..it was possible! "I did think about what she said, and I really don't know what to do about it! It's not like I've intentionally tried to ignore her...I've been super busy with my own life, it wasn't until recently, at the island, that I've come back.." Annette's face continued to remain a slightly pinker shade, as she began to settle her arms around him as he instructed! "Right..! I should do that..shouldn't I! " As if she needed an excuse, they were quite happy to hold on to each other at any time of the day! Though, it was a little different when she was in this form, still, so long as it was Reiner holding her, it would be perfect no matter how awkward the situation was to others!
As they finally reached Mordi, and she was able to speak to her, Annette blinked, looking a bit puzzled by her words. "...That's not fair, Mordi! You're standing on land..maybe, give me a pillar of rock to stand on too, and i'll hug you til' you're as blue on the face as your hair! " Okay, that was a small joke, but she really would hug her, not choke her! "You know I care about you...we all do, no one has ever, or will ever stop caring. " She said seriously, with a clear sincerity in her voice. "..Hmm? ...Oh..Really? That's great...Yay! Thank you, we'll be the best company there is you know! " Or the most terrible! "Let's go to that island, Reiner! "

"Yayy! It's Midgar! " Ariel pointed out to the obvious land ahead, the smoggy brown cloud that hoovered over the city in the distance made it a wonder why she was so excited to see the not-so-pretty city. "..Hurry, you slow pirate! ..oh!...Can I take the wheel? Let me steer, I'll get us there MUCH faster! " ...Because it had a gas pedal to control it's speed. Yeah. "Ohh...I know...Hey, A-Z-U-R-A! " The loudness of her energetic voice caused the mermaid princess to cringe a little. Ariel never would know just how annoying she really was. "You can control the currents, right? You're fishie powers and all?! " "...My...'fishie'...powers? " The look on her face, and the way she repeated her, coming from the serious mermaid, was quite amusing. "...I can......but I won't..." She crossed her arms, turning off to the unsightly view of Midgar in the far distance.. "...What!? Why not? Hey come on..! Hmph! " She too, turned away, her nose to the air and eyes closed as though she were SO insulted and annoyed!
