Mouse tore her excited attention away from the approaching onslaught and focused back on the spell she and the little vampire were supposed to be casting, cherry brows furrowing in concentration. It seemed to be going well for a moment, the kishin reverting back to what she assumed was their normal forms, but as Mouse stole a glance at the Meister and Weapon duo, she felt something shift about the magic she and Casimir were controlling. Her gaze flicked up to his face as he cried out then looked back at her. She could see the pleading look on his face, but she was still new to being a witch. She had no idea how to help. She clenched her jaw and tried to strengthen her hold on the magic, willing it to bend to her will, but it didn't work.
Mouse was about to shout back at Casimir to ask what to do when she witnessed him open up a massive portal at their feet. She looked down at it, knowing instantly that jumping into it without knowing where it would spit her out wasn’t the smartest thing to do, but she dared not linger and find out what happened if this spell went catastrophic. Mouse gave the other two a quick glance and a shout, “We gotta get outta here! Let’s go!” With that, the little redhead leaped into the portal after the little vampire.
