⇨☾⇨This is the largest district of the city for residential neighborhoods. Mostly, middle-income citizens of the city live in these houses and apartment units. There are also some lower-income housing units as well as stately mansions as well in their own smaller sections of the area.
For whatever reason he had before...Decus wasn't heading out on missions. It was definitely not for the purposes of lack of trying or something of the sort. He supposed it was likely because the Death Weapon Meister Academy wasn't particularly fond of the way he acted. It was hard for him to get missions so to speak from them for this reason. That being said when he found out about a string of missions involving mysterious people who seemed to revere Lord Death. Despite this reverence however they seemed to be taking actions directly opposing the ideals of Lord Death and the DWMA. Decus didn't really care for the idea that the DWMA was going to keep this job from him, so he took it on regardless of their wishes for him to stay out of it. Decus knew these people, he knew them enough to know exactly who they were and where they were. Off in Death City, the residential district was where he headed. Likely a place that no one else would have expected as far as these kinds of people went. Who would ever thing that these kinds of people would be the people of everyday life in Death City? Decus only knew due to his connections to them. Moving along through the streets, he would come to a building with lights on at the very top, however off the rest of the way down. His mind temporarily flashing back to a moment in his life as he walked away from this exact building. It made sense this would be the first mission he accepted and accomplished. It was like the time he left was coming full circle now. Although he also thought it was weird, he knew they were a bit different about how they handled things however the mission he read didn't sound like things they'd done. Or things that they would be doing in the first place. Decus wasn't sure what exactly was going on with them but he felt like it wouldn't be good. Maybe he should have brought a partner along, a weapon? Maybe even someone who just could assist him? One might think those would be the thoughts going through his head of course, but as far as he was concerned he wouldn't do it anyways. He only trusted himself, and that was that. None of the other Meisters who might have helped him or weapons he could have brought along were anywhere near what he wanted them to be. He was set with himself.
As he made his way into the building he saw a familiar face. "Decus! You're back!" She stopped suddenly from her walking across the hallway. Running up to him. "What's going on, why are you guys doing this." The woman looked down, then horror spread across her face. "I don't know, I'm afraid. The priests have changed. Father Ethan has changed." Decus would look at her and sigh. "Leave, don't come back. Just walk out those doors right now. Get out of Death City in fact." He rather plainly said to her, to which she seemed to nod and then do as she was told. Decus however would proceed into the building. An old stairway that he began to ascend, each step creaked as his foot pressed against it. His body rising through the stairway until he came to the first darkened floor. Met by a small group of cultists that held weaponry in their hands and seemed almost crazed some might think. "What're ya doin 'ere." Of course it wouldn't be much longer that they were standing there as he walked by them. Their bodies lighting up as if shocked by electricity and then the boy continued along. Their bodies falling to the ground, their souls appearing for a moment behind him unbeknownst to him before they would find themselves floating upwards. The course of action the boy chose to take was very much obviously. When he came across some sort of aggressive member of this cult he was raised by he took them down swiftly and in a no bullshit manner. Their souls floated up to the top floor and he continued on without knowing. It was fairly quick and easy for him. He was sure that if someone had been here watching as he handled the situation himself that he was capable of doing things on his own. Of course he himself knew this though. It was why he was so adamant that he was better on his own than with these weapons that would just hold him back.
Another creaky stair well on the other side of the long hallway. Once more ascending it and to the next floor. Dark but this time not assaulted by people immediately upon setting foot on the floor. He could hear wind blowing, doors creaking open and shut constantly. The place was just as rundown and horrible as he remembered it now that he wasn't assaulted by sound constantly. The creaking wood of the building made him sort of angry in a way. He hated this place, the fact he was back here for a reason within his control but out of his control at the same time bothered him. Proceeding along the dark floor of the long hallway he stopped for a moment. Suddenly a creaking sound behind him, a rush forwards of wind and then metal touched his back. Although it only managed to touch his back for but a moment. His wavelength had focused on the spot where the assailant had come from, and around the area nearby him as well. It had lit up with the electric-like wavelength of his soul and caused his assailant to fall just before managing to stab the Meister in the back. Decus turned around this time though, kneeling down and looking at the man's body on the floor. Part of him felt like maybe he had been doing a bit much even to those that had attacked him on the lower floor. As he saw the human soul appear...then float up through the ceiling he realized what was going on. His eyes widened and he went into a mad dash down the hallway. Quickly making it to the last set of stairs he rushed up them. The creaking loud and he burst through a door into a large room. Just in time to see five people standing there, the one in the middle of the other four grasping the soul he just saw float through the ceiling and then eating it. They were the four priests and Father Ethan. Archpriest of the Cult of Lord Death is what Decus knew him as. However right now, he as well as the other priests were clearly...devouring human souls.
"Decus! You have returned to us! What a pleasant surprise." Ethan spoke, smile on his face as he bit into the soul sucking it into his mouth. Decus shook his head. "Of course this would happen to you four. Corruption and Hatred filled your souls since the beginning haven't they? You've always been like this." Father Ethan's smile grew into a much more twisted version of itself as he would once more speak again. The priests each doing the same and beginning to walk towards Decus. "You're absolutely right son. I was planning to make you a priest as well. You have so much potential. Lord Death would be proud." He said, Decus stood in his exact spot and shook his head. "You're going against Lord Death Ethan, how could you worship someone and then do exactly the opposite of what they wish for?" Ethan's smile turned into a frown. Anger filled his face at Decus' words. "You are but a child, you know nothing of Lord Death's wishes. None of you do. If he didn't wish for us to get stronger why would he leave us with such an ability. The power to gain strength through eating souls?! Souls that are so easy to obtain at that. HA. You are WRONG."Decus realized at this point, Father Ethan was simply insane. Wracked with Madness that plagued the world and the priests were basically under his control as well. Decus would sigh, cracking his neck with his eyes closed. "You're mad. I will show you true power though." Decus said, then he would move forwards towards the priests walking towards him.
They were by no means combatants and he could tell. His fist colliding with on of their stomach, electric like wavelength exploding into the priest's body as it would fall. Two of the other priests rushed towards Decus in a hurry. Uncoordinated at best, this was exactly why he didn't think he needed the assistance of a weapon or anyone. One wrong move of the other could spell the doom of the better one. That being said they were both clumsy anyways, quick kick to one of them staggered the priest backwards into the other one rushing forwards towards Decus. The brown haired young man finding himself standing over the bodied of both of them before he would kneel down grasping their necks and delivering shocks from his soul wavelength causing them to go limp. Decus was brutal for sure in his combat...which was unexpected as far as Father Ethan was concerned. The worry on the look of the other priest was evident as Father Ethan looked at him and shouted. "GET HIM YOU FOOL." Decus stood once more, turning, eyes filled with pure determination one might call it. There was no anger in his expression just readiness to complete the job he was on. Decus quickly found himself behind the final priest as he began to attempt to run away and Decus would place a palm on him once more delivering soul wavelength into another priest before turning to Father Ethan. "You're a disgrace. Just like everyone else in the world." He said to the man. "B-but how? Everything I've worked for ruined by some child?" Father Ethan backed up into a wall nearby a window. "Because you're a failure. It's that simple." Decus said ready to attack the leader of the cult and end the cult business of this particular cult forever. Father Ethan had other things in mind however. Leaping from the window and onto the ground below. One might have thought he wouldn't survive but bolstered by power he gained from devouring human souls of course he did. Decus looked out the window and down and shook his head. A whisper from Decus would go unheard by Father Ethan as the man tried to escape. "It's not that easy." He said, before suddenly soul wavelength would coalesce upon Father Ethan's location, causing him to fall limp as well.
The priest souls rose from their bodies. Red as expected, Kishin Eggs. However Decus was thinking about it....something Father Ethan said stuck with him now. Something he remembered from his classes. Weapons eat Kishin Eggs to become stronger...Meisters just absorb and benefit from the souls as well. Kishin Eggs are born of humans who devour the souls of humans. What if Father Ethan was right...but in a wrong way? Decus would walk to the Kishin Egg of one of the Priests. Grasping it in his hand before he could absorb it's energy...he opened his mouth and devoured it. Not unlike the way a weapon would devour it. He felt it's power course through his body. Maybe this was the right option. Maybe he was to gain power from the Kishin Eggs like this. Even if it wasn't the right way, it would be the path Decus chooses. After the first he did the same for the others and made his way to the streets where he would do the exact same to Father Ethan's Kishin Egg soul. He felt different...perhaps stronger. He steeled his resolve...he would become stronger. He would deal with this all on his own if he had to. He had no need for the incompetence of the DWMA's rules. However for now he would return to the academy.
The green haired girl finished lacing up her boots as she readied herself for the day. “Phone, wallet, keys…” Zenobia muttered to herself while she patted her pockets. Once everything was accounted for, the weapon slung her bag over her shoulder and made her way out of the door. “Don’t be late.” The girl gave a hard stare at her phone as she texted her half-brother. She didn’t know why she bothered; he was probably still asleep anyway. She disappointingly shook her head nade made her way outside.
A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. Zenobia recited the mantra of Death’s Weapon and Meister Academy, almost like a calming exercise. A small ritual that should help with the sound mind part. Next would be the sound body, as the young girl would start on a jog through the city. A light warm up before she made it to a small plot of land, more or less abandoned playground. It was her usual workout spot, evidenced by the craters in the ground. SHe was early for her meeting with the two problem students, and Zenobia took the time to read up on their files while she did workout reps. One of them she knew, and genuinely had no idea how to help. The second one the green haired girl knew nothing about, but Zenobia could see the issue if the reports were correct.
The cannon girl finished her reps and went to drink from the fountain, chugging water into her parched throat. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and sat down. Now all she had to do was wait.

[Level I][☆][Miester][Pugilist] [Spirit: 100/100]
Percy had gotten up quite early as normal, long before Stinger....which was common for him anyways. The two of them had been working together for a while, Percy didn't mind the boy's actions as long as when it came down to it he would do what he needed him to do. Early morning routine for Percy? Nothing really, as far as he knew he didn't exactly have to try much harder to be...well...just better than most others. He was only up early cause it was normal for him. Getting himself ready and everything, might as well head to where they needed to go. Of course he would be bringing his partner with him regardless of his partner's wishes. Percy not one to care about images, however a good first impression would go a long way. He knew the reason that he had been placed in the NOT class in the first place, so maybe change a few things about it in order to make a better first impression on this new weapon mentor who was an older student.
Of course though....he would only do such for himself. Making sure his glasses were on straight he would open the door to stinger's room. "A mess as always of course." He said quietly, moving through the messy room towards the bed which his partner was laying on. However it wouldn't be much longer than he would be laying on the bed, the already ready to go Percy grasping his weapon partner's ankle and then dragging him off the bed. However funnily enough not yet onto the floor. Instead down a mountain of mess next to the bed and then rather gently onto the floor. Percy didn't really care however though. From the point he had grabbed the boy's ankle he was already intent on not stopping until he got to the location he was meant to meet their new mentor so to speak.
Of course, Percy wasn't exactly sure himself why they were being given a mentor like this in the first place. Maybe because of how Stinger took to classes? Perhaps from Percy's attitude towards his fellow meisters? Thoughts moving through his head as he tried to figure out the situation at hand for why they needed a mentor and even about the mentor herself. Due to his own....way of treating others in his class what little he managed to hear about her was that she was a difficult to work with weapon. Which of course made everything make even less sense than if she was easy to work with. It was like the DWMA was throwing all the misfits into a single group because they can for little to no reason. Percy continued to ponder this and various other things as he continued dragging Stinger's body along the ground to the meet up location. Whether or not his partner woke up while being dragged wasn't a concern to him. In fact he would have preferred it, maybe it would make the lazy boy put in at least a little more effort. Didn't matter much though.
As he approached the meeting place, rather early in fact, it seemed that there was another figure there. The weapon mentor that had been assigned to them? She was early, which said good things about her at least. Her appearance coming much more into view as he approached, Percy thought to himself. 'She doesn't look particularly special. I guess she does look like a hardass.' Finally stopped and letting go of Stinger's ankle as he got within a polite speaking distance. "I'm Percy, nice to meet you. They told me nothing of why we are working with you. If you could shed some light on that, that'd be just perfect." He said.

"BEEEEP! BEEEEP! BEEE-" A pale hand, slammed down, on top of the black electronic clock. The weight of his palm snoozed his alarm. The bright red set of digits wrote out 5:00 AM. Previously it was the only light in the dark abyss that was his bedroom. Jacob's pale grey eyes stared towards the ceiling, the faint light vaguely pulled the fan above him into focus. With a deep breath, he'd throw his blankets off of him and pull himself up. He'd shift, swinging his legs out to sit on the edge of the bed. Jacob reached for the handle of his nightstand's drawer, opening it. He'd pull a bottle of saline and his contact case out, before promptly putting his lenses in.
After that the boy would stretch real hard and then hop up from his bed. He'd reach up and pull the light switch on his fan. The vacant darkness was suddenly banished, wooden furnishing and dark, red and black accents adorned the decorations that littered his bedroom. Cherry stained wooden dressers, a rather luxurious bed with wooden bedframe. Nope, Jacob's dad spared no expense. A father's luxurious love, cluttered his home in all the necessities the boy would need to live away from home on his own. He'd slip inside his bathroom, with a flick of a switch, he was staring himself down in the mirror. With a flick of his wrist the boy would turn the cold water on. Jacob splashed his face a couple times, trying to shock the sleepiness away. He'd finish up by brushing his teeth, and wetting his hair and brushing it too. Next was today's outfit.
Jacob strode out of the bathroom and across his room to his closet. It should come as no surprise that it was a walk-in, and stalked to the brim with suits and shirts, dress wear and clothes for every season or event. He glanced over it all, and promptly sighed, grabbing his usual suit and tie. By 5:30 he was dressed and ready for the day. He'd grab his phone before slipping into the living area. It was an open concept with living room, dining area and kitchen all together, separated by a bar countertop. Jacob stepped into the modern amenity kitchen, where he'd make himself a big glass of earl grey in an insulated metal cup. He'd place a spill proof lid to keep it's contents secure, before grabbing a few small oranges he'd pocket for later. Well, he did break one down and start eating the citrussy goodness, on the way out the door. Locking it, he'd step out into the early morning light, breaking over the horizon.
Jacob was strolling his way towards the center of Death City, Death Weapon Meister Academy. He'd been enrolled since last Semester, but he still hadn't found a partner he really synced with yet. Though he's had plenty of people approach. He'd work his way through town, sipping on tea and eating his breakfast.

tab The scene was one of peace, a true picture of serenity. A seemingly endless ocean with nothing but a small lone island in the middle of it. On this seemingly deserted island stood two tall palm trees, just far enough apart to keep the hammock tied between them taught, with just enough slack for it to sway in the gentle breeze. Lying in this hammock, one could find Stinger, taking full advantage of this tranquil environment, fully relaxed and carefree. "Ah yeah. This is the life." he sighed, taking in a deep breathe of the fresh ocean air.
tab Suddenly, there came a violent shake to the island, as it it had been struck by a large meteor. It was almost enough to fling Stinger from his hammock, the poor boy just managing to steady himself. "The hell was that?" he asked as he sat up to get a better picture of the situation. Nothing seemed to have changed about his environment, but still the island continued to tremor. "Oh crap! Is this an earthquake?!" he shouted. As the world around continued to quake, the skies began to grow dark and the winds grew stronger. Violently being tossed about, Stinger desperately clung to his hammock, determined to weather the sudden storm but it was no use. Eventually, his grip gave way and he flung from his safety net towards the sand below.
tab Fortunately for Stinger, the natural disaster he was experiencing was just a dream and he was in no real danger. Then again, the reality of his actual situation wasn't exactly a kind one. Having grown tired of waiting on him to wake up on his own, his partner and roommate, Percy, had seen fit to literally pull him out of bed. Thankfully, a pile next to his bed made for a convenient ramp for him to descend to the floor but after that, there was nothing to protect him from the battering he was about to receive. This was when the "quaking" in his dream began. When the removal from his bed didn't wake Stinger, Percy merely continued to pull Stinger along with him, dragging him as if he were a sack of potatoes. With each bump and hit that followed, the imagery in Stinger's dream grew more and more intense. Still, his body stubbornly clung to the dream, determined to maintain his slumbering state. It wasn't until they reached their destination and Percy released his grip on his ankle that Stinger finally awoke, just as he was about to crash into the sand in his dream.
tab Jetting up suddenly, Stinger's breathe was fast and shallow, almost as if he was in shock. As his eyes darted around, he was able to recognize his environment, finding himself seated on the ground in Death City's residential district. 'Oh good. It was just a dream.' he thought, closing his eyes once more as he let out a soft sigh of relief. However, upon reopening his eyes and finding himself looking up at Zenobia, his panic quickly set back in. "GAH!! What are you doing here .......... and why am I not wearing any pants?" he initially shouted, only realizing a few seconds later that all he was wearing were a pair of red tartan boxer shorts and a plain white tank top. Not his best look.
The green haired weapon lounged on some playground structure. One of those round dome things that kids hid in? She didn’t know what it was called. Whatever it was, she sat on it. Zenobia didn’t get too much time to get comfortable. She had planned on Stinger, and by extension his partner, to be late. But two figures rounded the corner… well one did, dragging the form of the girl’s half-brother behind him. Yeah that tracks, she thought with a sigh, tinged with mild aggravation. However, there was a sense of catharsis from seeing the younger sibling being dragged around like that. It put a timely smile on her face as Zenobia visibly relaxed once she realized Stinger was still asleep.
“Nice to meet you, Percy. The name’s Zenobia.” The weapon didn’t rush to stand as she introduced herself, her arm hanging over her knee comfortably. “Yeah, I’m sure you’re wondering why you’re here.” She didn’t waste any time in answering the Meister’s inquiry. “I’m part of a program in DWMA that assigns Weapons to Meisters that haven’t found a proper partner yet. But sometimes I get assigned to problem pairs, to try and fix their Resonance. I guess you could say I’m a Loaner Weapon.” She answered, jokingly, as she rubbed the back of her head. “So that’s a brief introduction about me… Percy, before we get started, I wanna ask you something. I’ve read your file.”
Zenobia’s smile faded and was replaced with a more focused expression. Not unsettlingly serious, but one that showed interest. “I commend your dedication to switching to the EAT program. But why bring him with you?” She asked, nodding her head to Stinger. “I imagine you had to drag him kicking and screaming into the program. Couldn’t have been easy.”
Her question barely had any time to hang in the air before the rope dart weapon jolted from his slumber. “Oh, I’m so glad you could join us.” Zenobia’s voice dripped with vitriol as she spoke, her blue eyes glaring daggers at her brother. “I thought I told you not to be late today. Instead you had to put the burden on your partner. Again. Next time, why don’t you make him carry you everywhere, hm?”

[Level I][☆][Miester][Pugilist] [Spirit: 100/100]
From what he could tell at least for the moment Zenobia was punctual. She rather quickly answered his question as well, no time wasted. That meant he got the answer he needed as quickly as he could which was something Percy valued. However a bit of a quirk that he had was she sat comfortably as she had spoken. He was sure it meant nothing in actuality aside from that she was comfortable and didn't feel like moving. However he also felt a bit insulted that she didn't stand up from her sitting position to speak to him. Though he wouldn't show such displeasure to her for the time being. It was fine, something minor if anything. Her explanation of what was essentially her job at DWMA was interesting. He knew mostly about it already, aside from the problem pair thing. This also meant that if it wasn't because he had not found a proper partner yet then the DWMA considered them a problem pair. He didn't like being considered a problem in the least.
That being said Zenobia directly spoke to ask Percy a question. A question he was actually rather ready to answer if he were being honest. Although of course his reasons behind it were purely selfish. Just as he opened his mouth he could only manage to get a sound out before the sound of his partner's voice caught both his and Zenobia's attention, and then the sound of Zenobia's voice continued the distraction from his answer. 'Damn it, I wanted to answer her question as fast as she did mine.' He thought to himself, a bit of an annoyed look on his face as he turned away from Zenobia to insure she couldn't see the annoyed look. Fixing his face to once more be a much more neutral expression he turned back. Ready to answer again, however she still had more to say to Stinger particularly. The way she looked at him, and spoke to him made it seem a lot like they knew each other. Regardless of whether or not they knew each other though, Percy wasn't particularly fond the change in mannerisms between he and Zenobia to between Stinger and Zenobia.
Before anyone could say anything else and pull him off track once more, the pale blonde would speak up. "I'm unsure why, but you seem to not be fond of my partner." He would say first, pausing for only a moment but not enough time to let anyone else get any words in just yet. "Anyways, you asked why I brought him with me. I could say just because he was who I was paired up with but that'd be not totally true." He continued on with his explanation, a single hand coming up to his face in order to adjust his glasses by merely pushing them. Closer to the bridge of his nose with a his middle and index finger. "I could also say he's just easy to work with for me, but that'd be a lie too." He was sure Stinger's likely heard him say this before. Maybe even say this stuff to him directly before. However a smug smirk grew upon the face of the six foot tall fourteen year old. "But really, doesn't it speak to how much better of a meister I am than the others? To be able to work with a difficult to work with weapon?"
tab From his current position, it easy to see that Zennobia was looking down on him, both literally and metaphorically. However, Stinger being who he was, any slights or criticisms thrown his way simply slid across his smooth brain, in one ear and out the other. Effortlessly dodging the visual daggers his sister fired at him, Stinger turned his head to look up at Percy. "Awww. You dragged me all the way here? Thanks for the assist roomie." he said, a big goofy, grin stretching from ear to ear. Perhaps this wasn't quite the correct attitude for him to take from the situation but he was genuinely grateful to his partner. Most people would have just left him behind but not Percy. He made sure to bring him along and even let him continue sleeping the whole way there. What a guy.
tab Hopping to his feet, Stinger took a moment to stretch while Percy seemed to pick up a conversation that most likely started while he'd been asleep. At first, it almost sounded like Percy was going to defend Stinger against Zennobia, commenting on her treatment of him. This came as a bit of a surprise to Stinger, as he had never known Percy show this sort of comradery. However, this feeling was quickly repealed when the meister began speaking of the subject of why he chose to continue their partnership. 'Ah. There it is.' Stinger thought. Still, Stinger wasn't ignorant to the staunch difference between their drives and the expectations that had placed upon each of them, so it didn't bother him. If anything, Stinger appreciated Percy's honesty, as it meant he never had to worry about where the two stood. "You said it, buddy." he said, coming alongside his partner and putting an arm across his shoulders.
Zenobia cocked her head to Percy’s explanation, listening intently. While she didn’t care one way or another how Stinger spent his time in DWMA, the Weapon wondered how someone would work with him. While the Meister didn’t seem to have an issue with her brother’s laziness, soon the other shoe would drop. “‘Prove thyself’ huh?” Zenobia replied, somewhat incredulous. The canon girl placed her hands on her hips and turned to Stinger. “And you’re just going to let him say that, I take it?”
Her tone was missing its biting edge that it had towards the boy a moment ago. As much as he drove Zenobia crazy, it wasn’t like she didn’t have a heart. And factual or not, such straightforward comments were bound to hurt someone’s feelings. But Stinger took it in stride, which made the girl wonder what he was lacking more of: pride, or brains. I think I see the issue, then. You.” She looked to Percy. “You have a lot of ambition, but think too highly of yourself because of it. Whereas you” She turned to Stinger. “Are too comfortable letting others pick up your slack. That sound about right?”
Zenobia turned to walk and motioned for the pair to follow her. “I’m sure you two know the basics of how you resonate with your souls, but I’ll explain anyway.” Zenobia stopped in front of a volleyball net before turning to Percy and Stinger. “In order to properly work together, a Weapon and Meister’s souls must be in Resonance with each other, and can only be done if they’re compatible. I’m sure when you first started, the two of you were much alike.” The green haired girl reached down into her bag and pulled out a tri-colored volleyball. “And even if you guys are able to sync up now, at the rate you’re going, that won’t be the case for long.”
Zenobia tossed the ball in hands a couple of times as she continued speaking. “Think of a Weapon like a setter in volleyball, and a Meister like a spiker. It’s the Weapon’s job to properly create a conduit for a soul’s wavelength, and the Meister’s to bring it out efficiently. If the set is too weak, then the spike is gonna be weak, too. But if the spiker is too fast, then it’s possible to miss altogether. So set the ball-” Zenobia tossed the ball to Stinger. “-and spike. It’s an exercise in trust and timing, since your lives will most likely be on the line when it goes wrong.”

It wouldn't be much longer after he finished speaking that the weapon boy approached. An attempt to put his arm over the much taller boy's shoulder would fail obviously. Even more so as Percy's hand would grasp the top of Stinger's head, although not in some sort of vice grip. Almost more like a patting of the shorter boy's head is all. It seemed their new Mentor understood a bit now as she spoke, although in her own way he guessed. As opposed to answer the girl with a yes or no, Percy would simply shrug his shoulders at her assessment of them. He couldn't speak for Stinger, well he probably could, but he wasn't sure about this Zenobia girl. He sort of wanted to just head on back home and do some more personal training. Of course though, this mentorship was an official assignment for both the girl and he and Stinger. He was rather sure the DWMA wouldn't be particularly happy if they ditched it. As such, the blonde glasses clad boy would release Stinger's head and proceed to following the girl.
As she spoke about resonating...Percy couldn't help but openly and fairly loudly yawn. Although even so he was sure that the girl wouldn't cut off her speech from just a mere defiant yawn from the boy. It didn't take long for them to be in front of a volleyball net. Percy looked at the net with a familiarity, one he was unsure of where it had come from. Pushing that thought to the back of his mind. His eyes shifting back towards the gemale speaking as she pulled a volleyball from her bag. It didn't take much time for Percy to realize what she was going to make them do.
Even more so as she began to explain the similarities between the roles in volleyball to the roles of a meister and weapon pair. His eyes began following the ball as she spoke. His head unmoving, though he watched it rather intently. Each of her few tosses into the air causing his eyes to shift up before following the ball back down once more. Then the ball would suddenly be tossed in Stinger's direction. Percy's eyes still followed the ball, although he was also paying attention to how Stinger was reacting to it as well. The tall boy would remain in a ready state to grab the ball. Only in the event that his weapon partner decided that catching the volleyball would be too much effort or something along those lines. It was always a possibility after all. Regardless of whether or not he had to catch the ball for Stinger or the boy caught the ball himself, Percy looked at the net and sighed again. "Not sure how productive this is going to be, but you're the boss right now." He would said, preparing himself to do the exercise.

tab Stinger couldn't help but sigh at Zenobia's reaction to responses from both himself and Percy to her questions. It seemed that their own feelings on the matter meant nothing to the girl and her opinion was the only one that mattered. For Stinger, this was nothing new. 'Story of my life.' he thought, giving his head a light shake.
tab Everything Zenobia said after this went in one ear and out the other for Stinger. Something something resonance and something something volleyball, he didn't follow any of it. Honestly, his mind was still somewhat preoccupied by his lack of pants and how he could go about remedying that situation. It wasn't until Zenobia chucked an actual volleyball that he finally gave his sister his full attention, his reflexes kicking in just in time for him to catch the ball and prevent it from crashing into his face.
tab As he obviously hadn't been paying attention to his sister's speech, at first Stinger simply stared at her like a blank expression. "Huh?" Thankfully, before he could further incur his sister's wrath, Lord Death appeared in the front window of a nearby home. "Oh hey. Look. It's Lord Death." he said, pointing out the projection to the others. He then listened along his the others as Lord Death explained the situation that was occurring at City Hall. Without so much as a glance between them, Percy and Zenobia took off towards City Hall, heading Lord Death's orders. Meanwhile, Stinger stayed put, watching as the others raced off into the distance. "Okay. Cool. You two probably have it covered so I'll just stay here and uhhhhh guard the ball. Yeah." There was a short pause before Stinger let out a soft sigh. "Man. I really gotta find some pants."
