"You don't want to swim, Luna? Alright. But let us know if you change your mind." Kanja grinned brightly at her. He watched as Amy started splashing around in the water, and then Argent came over and offered to help teach too. This was great!

"Thanks Argent! Having you help will be... well, a big help! We can teach everyone, I'm sure." At least this part of the lake bed didn't have a steep drop off like where Kanja tended to teach everyone. The shore was a more gradual slope, and should be reasonably safe for even the least skilled swimmers.

"Dash, I'd love your help too. Thanks for offering. But if it's overwhelming, let me know. We haven't had a lot of lessons yet, but you've been doing really good." He beamed at his friend.

Amy smiled as she saw that people were getting geared up to swim, both learning and teaching. This was exciting! She was happy to learn a skill that was both essential AND fun. She eventually got up and walked over to where Kanja was and the slight slope of the lake bed was, slowly walking further in to both get used to the chilled water and the idea of moving in deeper and deeper. She managed to get in the water up to her waist, looking around before she started to move her hands around in the water, just getting a feel for it. It was nice...and she felt a bit of weightlessness. Remembering the plants that Kanja had brought up from below before, she knew it had to be really pretty down there and now she would be one step closer to being able to see it herself.

After Finley had sat for a while and rested his stomach, he decided it was finally time to join the others. He figured if he still got a cramp, someone would rescue him. So it was probably safe to go ahead and enter the water. He slowly dipped a toe in. The water was definitely cool to the touch, so he took his time walking in until he was almost waist deep.

“So uhhh how does this work? How do we...not sink?” He chuckled a little awkwardly. Hopefully he could do this right. At least he had faith in Kanja’s instructions. And Argent had agreed to help too. Finley would be sure to take a mental note of everything he learned so he could be sure to put it into practice. Practice makes perfect after all.
