tab Well, this wasn't great. The first major hit from Geremald hurt, a lot. Jules' aura not manifesting enough to mitigate much of the damage. He was forced backward a bit, though he got very lucky that his aura was already active from the aftermath of Geremald's hit, preventing him from getting outright tased and sustaining a serious slash wound from Kirien's electrified blade, That said, he did receive a rather nasty hit to his cybernetic arm, as it was not protected by his aura. Thinking quickly with the one hand that was not currently transformed for the purpose of interfacing with tech, Jules took the grappling hook off his belt and fired it in the direction of GRMLD and widget as Geremald Ares threw what would've likely been an aura shattering hit on the inexperienced young Jules. Thankfully, the inventor wasn't out of his luck entirely, with the grappling hook catching itself on the shoulder of Widget's suit. Jules immediately activated the pull function, quickly being pulled across the ground towards Widget's suit. Jules then quickly popped up, grabbing onto the back of the aforementioned suit. "Sorry! needed to get some distance from those two!" Jules then began working to transform his arm back, but due to the damage inflicted by Kirien's sword, it was taking a delayed amount of time. It was going to take a little bit before his hand was back to normal but once it was he'd draw his pistol and try to provide covering fire against Geremald and Kirien. x x x x

(OOC: three of my four rolls were crap, but I allocated them to make the best of the situation. the 5 went to Geremald's hit, the 6 went to making sure Kirien didn't outright kill or tase Jules' unconscious, though it still hit., the 17 went to the grappling attempt, and the 2 went to Jules' failure to change his cybernetic hand back in a timely manner)
(TLDR: Jules got elbowed, his aura went up, his cybernetic arm got a nasty slash from kirien. He lucked out with his grappling hook and is now frantically holding on to the back of the Widget as he tries and (at least currently) fails to turn his cybernetic arm back to normal so he can fire his pistol)

He told Kirien as his body crackled with electricity, their eyes landing on Shamilla before he bolted off, charging at her. He could see she too was holding a grappling gun as he got close. The way he moved was like in serpentine, as if he was making it hard to get a clear shot at him as he got closer. Then, it happened, before Shamilla could hope to get a proper shot, he ducked down with Kirien, and leapt up high, higher than a normal human could hope before he lifted Kirien up. "Your turn, careful of her semblance." He whispered low for Kirien to hear as he dropped her down fast as she was affected by Gravity normally. He was using the jump to primarily guage Kirien's and Shamilla's abilities while also keeping an eye on Widget and Jules, an eye that would have him warn Kirien should something happen.
Slowly, he would descend as Kirien engaged Shamilla, landing behind Shamilla with his controlled Combat Theatrics before he would aim a swift hard right donkey kick towards Shamilla's injured Leg from behind, aiming to cripple her down if she was not careful and took the hit. A sensitive body part with aura could still feel more pain than one could be ready for.

Kirien pouted as she watched Jules Grapple gun away, her visor showing her mech's vision as she saw Widget's cannon arm lining up. She tapped her tail to the side as GRMLD-ATLS used a burst of jets to avoid the three-round burst at near point-blank. The ATLS wasn't affected by the dust but now as it turned, she could see both targets while she hopped onto Geremald's back, She moved her left hand to the side, holding the blade to the side as she held up her right hand. Just as Widget did, she began to unload as much bulletfire into her. Unlike last time, since Widget was using live ammunition, so was Kirien as hails of bullets began to fire at her. "Jules is on Widget, I'm firing at my best range." She informed Geremald who nodded his head, it was best to damage the suit as much as possible as she also could see who they were getting close to. She could feel Geremald's movements and used her left hand to brace herself. When he leapt into the air, she held back the urge to scream. Then he pulled off what she hated.
"Divebomb?!" She asked before she was informed and nodded her head before she began to fall towards Shamilla. Her aura was active as she aimed for Shamilla, turning in air during the fall to land on her feet while her arm remained steady to maintain fire as she began to have the unit run around Widget and Jules before she and the Machine charged. If She didn't land on Shamilla with her crash landing, she would easily find her and mentally lock on to dash at her with the Electrified blade while Geremald was mid-descent. "Better be fleet-footed!" She warned Shamilla while she swiped at her once with her blade, and then attempted a follow up with a hard left kick towards Shamilla's right side.
While GRMLD-ATLS was following her orders, it evaded the fire just before Widget could pull the trigger, avoiding being stuck in a cloud of dust before turning and opening fire. It could see Jules being on it and under the moving hands of Kirien, avoided hitting him with live ammo. It was instructed to begin kiting around Widget's suit, aiming to keep moving and avoid being in her face, but knowing where the blade arm was, it soon made an attempt to slash at her while keeping a safe distance, still firing upon her. The blade seemed careful of the outstretched hand, same with Kirien, as if leading to believe she had to keep her hand outstretched to properly fire.
(TL;DR: Kirien and Geremald are now attacking Shamilla while she is separated from Scarlet and Jules. GRMLD-ATLS is pushing the attack on Scarlet after evading Cannon fire. Kirien and Geremald are 20% faster now.)

Widget heard the dull clang of metal on metal from behind her and she switched to secondary sensors to see Jules latched onto her. That wasn't good. She couldn't really turn much now or she'd expose him and as she processed that, several thuds shook the cockpit as the opposing mech opened fire and she was forced to stand there and let it hit her suit."If you were planning something, do it now. I can't move with you on me or you'll get hit and the armor can only take so much abuse." The usually monotone girl that displayed very little if any emotion was not is a good position right now and there was a tinge of irritation in her usually emotionless voice. She only got this thing up and running after months of working on it and it wasn't really ready for a stress test, yet, here she was, letting it be a target for live fire with her inside, unable to do anything to counter it because someone had latched onto her and would get shot by live fire if she did. She brought the sword arm up and turned the flat of the blade out to give the cockpit more protection before the cannon on the other arm began to spool. A strafing burst of eight rounds fired out much faster than the cannon had previously fired. The fifty caliber armor piercing rounds slammed into various surfaces, blasting chunks of rock and carving out small craters in the ground as they slammed into them. TEAM: OSMM

Shamilla's eyes widened as she saw them ganging up on her, who was left at a remote corner away from her teammates, and they went for her because she was the most obviously exposed target of the bunch. But without a moment's hesitation, she knew what to do. Gripping the grappling hook tightly with both of her hands, she aimed at the nearest pillar and shot straight sideways from where she was positioned. The grappling hook tip made a small 'c***k' sound as it grasped the pillar close by, and Shamilla was zoomed around just mere seconds before they could grab her injured leg and prevent her from avoiding a what could have been a brutal attack. Using the momentum she wrapped the wire along with herself around the pillar and let go. She found herself on the opposite side of where she was at now, and so she partially limped to her teammates as they were a mere 2 feet away from where the grappling hook launched her at.

tab Jules dropped down off the back of Widget's mech as Shamilla got close. Now that everyone was close enough together, Jules fired a few shots from his pistol in the direction of Kirien and Professor Geremald. He wasn't trying to hit them... He was using the gun as a noisemaker to significantly dampen the volume of his spoken words, he didn't want their opponents to hear this. "Shamille, We need to get those two as close to that unmanned mech as possible. If we can do that then Widget should be able to lay down enough covering fire to keep them pinned in behind it, that should buy us time to get a line of fire of them from either side. If we can pull that off we might be able to force them to yield. But these guys are a hell of a lot faster than you or eye... I think we'll need to limit their mobility. Any ideas how we could shake up the ground a bit?" He had to reload, and so he back up a bit, getting closer to but not on Widget's mech. Standing in its shadow, he reloaded the weapon as quickly as he could. For better or worse, he had improved his technique, and so this time there weren't any jams or errors with the weapon. As soon as it was reloaded, Jules adjusted his aim, using both hands this time to steady the weapon, he resumed firing but at a much slower pace, aiming his shots for joints, nothing that would be fatal, this was a training exercise, and he didn't want to seriously hurt someone if their aura broke. But he needed these shots to hit, and he needed them to hurt like hell. x x x x
Geremald had led the charge but as he and Kirien were close, their first attacks primed to take on Shamilla, only to each miss as she fired off the grappling her and was pulled towards one of the Stone SLABS that littered the arena for a circle. She still got away but as she found herself on the opposite side, she was limping towards her teammates. He looked to the group as they reconvened, with the sound of bullets already dampening the area before he looked to see Scarlet was stuck with Jules on her before he dismounted to open fire at Geremald and Kirien, who made sure to avoid the bullets that were going wide around them. As the cannon spooling up other rounds, Geremald could see the ATLS moving around, narrowly avoiding the attack and he watched as it boosted over to their his and Kirien's end. The situation had changed, Team OSMM inside the circle of stones with Kirien, Geremald, and the ATLS on the outside. He looked back to Kirien and then forward to Jules as he cracked his knuckles. "Be ready." He told them, beginning to charge forward directly at them as Kirien moved into position on his back. He could see her right arm sticking forward and he knew he needed to be careful. 'Please, just keep focus.' He told her, with them both having a great team-work, and with lightning surging through him. He charged towards them once more, but this time, his eyes were focused on Jules. He had deduced that the reason that Jules and Shamilla were able to get away was due to either the tech man or Scarlet, and since he was the one not in heavy armor, he beelined for them.
As Geremald moved close to Jules, his eyes attentive to his possible tech and the Grapple hook and gun, his left hand would launch out quickly, aimed at Jules' gun hand. Striking faster than he had shown the kids back at class, he would follow it up with a palm strike towards his human shoulder, aimed to try and numb his human arm slightly if he didn't block with aura. Even if he missed with either attack, he'd stay close, aiming to ensure Jules' aim would be focused on in. However, if at any point he'd see Jules reach for the grapple gun he has, Geremald would aim a hard knuckle strike in an attempt to break it or knock it out of his hand. (Continued in Kirien's post)
Kirien had climbed back onto Geremald's back after her divebomb missed and used her tail to guide the ATLS back and away, avoiding lethal armor piercing rounds as she looked towards them. "She's switched to her AP rounds." She informed Geremald who nodded his head, with Kirien making her ATLS pause on the unload, with half of the bullets used in the current clip. Her headset was notifying her on the ATLS' battery before she spoke. "We're going to have to be careful." She told him while he started to run, leaning forward and keeping an arm pointed forward, with the ATLS taking aim and firing, from behind them both towards Team OSMM. With Geremald on run-duty, and Kirien on both viewpoints, they were able to dodge her own fire as the bullets flew at the group.
She used her tail to have the ATLS begin moving forward as she could tell who he was aiming for, and as they both got close, Kirien kept her sword ready and both she and Geremald parted ways, with Kirien jumping up at Scarlet, her blade poised and with her agility, stabbing faster than Scarlet would be able to block in her heavy gear. Her sword was glazed in electricity, with the lightning not having hit anyone, it raged with power as her machine was still moving, copying her movement but with no Katana drawn as it was sheathed. ATLS was making his way in a brisk pace towards Shamilla
Should Kirien hit with her stab, electric energy would run rampant through Scarlet's machine, even with Aura defense it would damage her suit's systems while Kirien landed, and would move to slip around to behind Scarlet to try and strike with the sword along the leg of Scarlet's Machine once more. However, if her attack was blocked or dodged somehow, she'd use a Propulsion grenade to throw herself up and over Scarlet in an arc to keep to her back.
(TL;DR: Kirien and Geremald are now attacking Scarlet and Jules seperately. GRMLD-ATLS is pushing the attack on Team OSMM after evading AP round fire, moving towards Shamilla. Kirien and Geremald are still 20% faster.)

Widget could see Kirien was honed in on her, her blade coated in electrical charge. Thankfully, she'd been working towards a defense grid and had the insulation installed without much else, so, the damage would likely be minimal. But, she wasn't taking any chances. She quickly switched the power over to the defense grid which, at the time didn't really do anything but feed it into an inert loop. The suit came to a stop just before she could hear the clang of the sword on the armor as she was crawling out of the cockpit and positioned herself on the shoulder and scrambled over it as Kirien was making another attack at the back. As she did, Widget's tail would lash out incredibly fast at the girl. On this particular occasion, the stinger at the end was not capped, but, the toxin she produced wasn't fatal outside of extremely large dosages which would take her days to inject. But, if Kirien got hit, she wouldn't be in a very comfortable position. In her current position, Widget could also see the assault being made against Jules and opened fire with her own gun at Geremald from the side. Unlike Jules, she wasn't being picky, aiming center mass to try and force him back or hit. If Kirien redirected her attacks against Widget's tail, she'd quickly coil it back with her aura defenses up and focused more heavily on protecting her tail. She was ready for the girl to try to make a shot at grabbing her goggles or targeting them as well as she had no delusions against Geremald having informed her of Widget's photosensitivity. They needed to force the two back enough for Widget to get back in her suit. Maybe they'd get lucky and the pair would assumed it was drained. TEAM: OSMM
