Rosa began chuckling nervously as Damien called her pretty, this wouldn’t be any problem if he hasn’t gone and dug himself a small grave the more he talked, though luckily for him she was already used to being next to a pervert so this wasn’t too bad “oh t-thank you Damian, but there wasn’t any need to add extra words to it” she said before she shook his hand. While Damien washed the dishes behind her Rosa finished preparing all the ingredients she needed next to her, she went to the back room and brought a small bag of coffee beans and poured it into the grinder container while also moving a few milk bottles to the fridge under the coffee machine while placing a special cup next to her. Rosa then ground a bit of coffee, pressed it in the coffee machine, and placed a cup under to let the coffee pour into it, while that was going on Rosa whisked some milk with the steam coming out of the machine and poured it into the cup that was now filled with a short espresso, Rosa carefully moved her hand to try and make the shape of a heart in the top which she almost managed to make ’almost… I would give this one an 810 though, I like how it looks she giggled and took a sip from the coffee after adding one teaspoon of sugar “Shizu’s coffee is definitely great” Rosa said cheerfully and looked at Damien as he finished washing the dishes “oh me? I work here for about a month already, still trying to get the hang of it and all… b-but I’m very pleased with how things are turning out so far” she said before she heard the door open “Inari? What are you doing here?” she tilted her head curiously “well we just opened up… I still have a long time until my shift is over I’m afraid…” she said with a slight frown, if she knew Inari wanted to hang out she would have told him exactly when she was available. “Y-yeah,” Damien responded to Rosa rather awkwardly turning his face and red-tinted cheeks away from the girl. “You are probably right,” the boy chuckled not because he found the situation particularly funny but more so, that was his most natural reaction to being in uncomfortable situations. The boy had a tendency of letting his awkward demeanor and excessive talking digging himself a grave with all his potential friends. The first bonds were always the hardest to make in his opinion. “I am personally more interested in the desserts,” Damien interjected after a few moments of silence watching Rosa enjoy her hot cup of coffee. The heart did look exceptionally well done! The boy smiled and his eyes glistened thinking about someone in particular… Well, there were a few people really, but one had always come to the forefront of his mind when in regard to his people-pleasing nature. He loved to see them smile. “A month is pretty early to have so much responsibility,” Damien looked genuinely shocked and in awe. He grabbed a nearby rag and began to wipe down the counters nearby while continuing to speak. “You must be a really dedicated, hard-working employee. You know…” the boy paused for a few moments. “I can see that about you,” he flashed her a bright smile before turning his attention to something needing their more immediate consideration.
As the door rang to alert them of the presence of someone, Damien whipped his body around to notice a boy about their age walking through. It was showtime! “How can I help-,” the boy cut himself off realizing that the new presence went to immediately addressing Rosa in a more personable manner. Oh… whoops, that was his mistake. They appeared to have been friends? This was quickly confirmed when Rosa addressed the boy by what Damien could only assume was his name. Inari, huh? He looked the boy over for no particular reason before returning to wiping down the counters while quietly listening to their conversation; not that he could do much else in such a small and silent space. ‘Ahhhh,’ that was right! Shizu had really emphasized the importance of having availability for the lunch rush and pressing forward into the late afternoon. What was that about anyways? He had always known coffee for being more of a morning beverage to get your day started. Why the heck would you want coffee and the push of adrenaline so close to getting ready for bed? Honestly, people made no sense sometimes. “I would not mind taking some of your shifts when I get more familiar with the job,” Damien said sheepishly. He quickly returned his attention to the busy work which presented itself right in front of him. He did not want to seem like he was completely trying to intrude on their conversation… He just thought it was relevant and possibly helpful of him in the future to make such an offer. He did not really mind the extra hours after all. There seemed to be some history between these two – not that he knew they were really just on the same team at Beacon Academy, similar to himself and Yumeko!
It was at that moment someone else walked into the café and set themselves at a nearby table, “Y-you know… I am just gonna take care of this.” Damien nodded to himself before walking over to introduce himself. He handed the guest one of the menus and was engaging them in conversation attempting to give Rosa some space.

As he would enter to see Damien, he would wave to him. "Ah, hi there. I'm Inari Kazama. Rosa's team leader at the academy. It's nice to meet you." He would say to him respectfully. When Rosa would say how she's just starting her shift, he instantly realized that he was intruding in which he would bow to her apologetically. "Oh man, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to disturb you... If you want, I can just stay here and have some of the coffee and desserts so I'm not wasting time here." He would say to her. Damien also offered to take up her shift, but that was actually a surprise to him. It wasn't all jealousy, but a bit of curiosity about Damien and Rosa's relationship. It was true, that Inari was very much love struct for Rosa, but he also kind of wondered if she enjoyed his company over Inari's. But it was just a small thought in the back of his head.
Rosa chuckled nervously when Damien mentioned how dedicated she was, in all truth, it was more of Shizu’s laziness and lack of workers that led to her situation, though she couldn’t deny the kitchen work she was already used to from home “w-well… thank you, I think” she would take another sip as Inari came in and introduced himself to Damien as he offered to take her to shift “oh no no it's ok, I could never ask you to replace me. also… I don’t think Shizu would appreciate it” she scratched her head nervously as Damien greeted a customer that came in, which means it was time to go behind the counter and prepare for any order and smiled at Inari “oh you are not wasting my time, it’s still pretty quiet so you really don’t bother, also there are plenty of costumes that likes to sit on the bar so I don’t see how you are going to bother me” she said with a small giggle “so what would you like to order?” Out Of Creativity: Rosa the Barista!

When the boy formally introduced himself, Damien felt compelled to reciprocate. “Nice to meet you also,” the boy paused with a confused look on his face, “No, too? It’s nice to meet you too.” Damien nodded his head in approval. That sounded much better and much less awkward. He grinned happily at the opportunity of making a new friend. Pulling both his arms up and using both his thumbs to direct attention in the direction of himself, the boy responded. “My name is Damien, leader of Team Dreamy at your service.”
With that out of the way, it was time to get to work. Damien thoughtfully interacted with the guest, though he was not entirely familiar with the menu as of yet. He was certain that would come with time and exposure. There appeared to be a lot of nodding and pointing in the direction of the menu from the perspective of an onlooker. They would both laugh before Damien nodded his head affirming to the guest that he was ready to give her order to the barista. Communication was going to be essential while learning the ins-and-outs of the job. “An Espresso Con Panna; whatever that is! Oh, and something about being topped with whipped cream,” Damien gave a simple nod while relaying the order to Rosa. As expected, Rosa had declined his offer of picking up her shifts… but she did seem to misunderstand, Damien knew that he was not ready for that kind of responsibility yet. That did not mean that he would never be ready for such responsibility however. It was always possible that they could revisit this conversation in the future when he was ready!
After Damien was done blurting out the order and fell silent, he realized Rosa was expressing her desire for the boy to stay. Whoops, he must have walked up at the wrong time. Oh well, Damien might as well chime in! “You should definitely stay,” the boy would give his unsolicited advice. According to him, you should always be there to support your team just like he did with Rowser at the exhibition match. Sure, the boy may have flopped the match and ended up getting injured landing himself in the infirmary… Damien shook his head back-and-forth trying not to let the negative thought get him down! Rowser tried his best and was even trying something that would normally be uncomfortable for him that would give him experience, as well as push his skills to do better and be better! Damien was proud of his friend no matter what!
Damien laid a hand on the small of Inari’s back. Inari was quite the huggable size and quietly in the back of his mind, Damien wondered if he would be able to lift him with ease in a big, ole bear hug. He let the thought pass for the time being. It was not customary (or professional) to go around hugging the guests. What sad times! The boy ushered Inari inside in the direction of the bar area seated closely to where Rosa would be working. After the boy complied, Damien would walk back closer to the entrance to grab a menu for Inari to look at should he decide to order something. “Should we be expecting anymore of your team,” Damien smiled warmly tilting his head down to look in the direction of Inari. He could not help but look at the menu over Inari’s shoulder; they had pastries and fresh bread products too! Delicious!
“I should invite my team sometime. They would love it here,” Damien said out loud to no one in particular. He moved back behind the counter to watch Rosa work. She worked with precision and seemed very comfortable with everything that she was doing. Hopefully, he could be that proficient in the near future. “What is your favorite dessert Rosa? I am having a hard time deciding what I should order and take home after my shift is over,” Damien chuckled nervously laying a hand on the back of his head.
