Myrkari hurried into the hallway that Fallen, Bristi, Crow and Lestat. He had just turned around, and Sovi wasn't there anymore.
"Crow?" He called out since he couldn't see who was in the hallway.
Who's idea was it to make the whole place so... menacing?
"Crow, I lost Sovi. One minute he was there, and then the next he was gone. I am worried something happened to him."
(Like going on spring break while we are all waiting for him to post!)

Suprise was evident on Fallen's face at the appearance of the two people, and it was made worse by the lack of interest she heard in Crow's voice. For reasons unknown to her she felt incompetant, like she should know whats going on but her mind wouldn't put two and two together.
"I am fine for the moment Bristi... I'll be better once we find the killer, and justice is served."

Bristi was sypathetic with Fallen to be sure, though she was startled a bit when Crow spoke up.
"Crow!" Bristi would swear she heard an echo. Looking back she saw a silhouette of who she would swear was Myrkari...and listened to what he had to say. Of course, Lestat's humming was a bit distracting. You know, he could have warned her that Crow was in the hallway, she was sure he must have known.

Lestat continued to hum to himself, nodding politely at Myrkari upon his arrival. Then stepped away from the wall, "if you all don't mind, I'm a bit thirsty so I think I'll go and get something to "drink."" He chuckled alittle after saying that last bit. "So if anyone cares to join me I shall be in the kitchen, and if not then I bid you all farewell. And may we meet again my friends." And with that Lestat bowed politely and turned to walk away.

A faint whisper came upon a slightly chilling draft in the hall. Soft words could be heard from the small gust as the chill past and continued on down the long corridor.

After Lestat was out of ear shot Myrkari turned to Crow, Bristi and Fallen.
"Is it just me or does that guy give you the creeps?" He thought for a moment and added, "He has been with you guys that whole time, right?"

She shivers as the chill passed and then responds to Myrkari.
"Yes.. he is an odd fellow. I don't think it is wise of him to be alone during a time like this, but after my episode it isn't my place to tell him such." She wrapped her arms around herself in a tight hug and leaned against one of the adjacent walls.
"Did you feel that?" Fallen asked, reffering to the gust that had just disturbed her.

What Myrkari said struck a chord in Bristi's mind. Lestat was a character, no doubt about it. He also possesed a very...interesting sense of humor. Or was it? But he was also a vampire...and the killing was done by blade, not teeth.
A chill danced it's way up and down Bristi's spine. She'd felt a whisper of a friendship she'd not thought she could again..not after Ru'ni's death, and it startled her. "I did." It was a whisper, not much louder than a breath.
"Lestat can be worried later...you said something about Soviet, Myrkari." The chill had made her tense, regressing her back into emotions she'd nearly broken free of. As such, her tone was cold - devoid of emotion - stating only facts.

"Lestat can be trusted, at least that is my opinion. He is an odd character...but trustworthy." She said flatly before turning to Myrkari.
"So what is this about Sovi?"

"Vampire?!" Myrkari blurted in a brief panic, before calming at the group assurance. "Yeah, but...Still gives me the creeps..."
Vampire.
Eeep.
He would have to remember to have some garlic around.
"Yeah, Sovi and I were upstairs after you guys left. I was talking about how that whole "fake-death" thing was childish, and when I turned around, he was gone."
Part of him wanted to believe that Sovi was just hiding to scare them, but something just didn't seem right about it...
He was right there, and then he just...
Disappeared.

Crow looked at Myrkari critically, "If this is another trick of his..." she said in an irritated tone.
"Disappearing without a word...I certainly hope his ears are burning from all this. " stare she muttered to herself before turning to leave the hall and to head to the upstairs quarters, gesturing for Myrkari and that others to follow.
"Show me where you last saw him Myrkari." she said, stepping to the side slightly as allow him to take up the lead.

Myrkari nodded and lead the way upstairs.
"We were heading down this hallway to go to the study until he wanted to stop off and see his room. We popped in and when we got talking, he just went poof."
He opened the door to the room Alstaldera had said was Sovi's and lead the group inside.
"He might have just left, but he couldn't have made it out the door. He would have had to come in front of me."

Bristi had run down the hallway, finally making to the end of the hall, and the greenhouse. The gate-like door was locked, annoying so. Shaking the door a bit, Bristi turned back towards the hallway and slid down the gate to a sitting position.
Tossing her head back, she slammed it against the gate experimetally. It hurt, but did nothing to get her mind working. Twisting her neck, Bristi looked through into the greenhouse, searching for the one thing she thought might be in there. Turning her head the other way Bristi glimsped what could be the answer. A handle leaning agaist the wall.
Standing up, she reached through the gate, scrabbling at the handle. Catching her fingers on it,Bristi drew her hand back slowly until she could get the tool through the gate.
It was a little pick, the type a gardner might use...and totally useless to Fallen. There was no way it would open the door.
Slipping it back through the gate, along with her arm, Bristi slammed it agaist in teh wall and drew the pick back towards her. A few more tools clattered onto their side, and Bristi drew them back through the gate, using the lilttle pick as a hook.
Finally having what she wanted, Bristi carefully raced back up the hall to the library.
