Regardless of Arkelos and Jezebel's actions, Wren eventually found the strength of will to approach the tangled-up figure outside the cabin. In the hopes of putting a stop to all this, he sprouted springy vines from his legs and threw a kick with incredible knockback directly into the hybrid's chest. As the springs compressed, Wren watched the figure look down at his foot and try to wrestle it's machete loose from the wood of the door in order to fight back. Unfortunately for it, Wren's Queen's Heels had taken enough and finally the springs decompressed and launched the being away from them, asidding across the ground with a bounce or two. As it stood up again, it revealed that it's mask had been knocked off by the force of the attack and it's face, twisted and mangled by something that seemed to have happened long ago.
Looking down at his feet as the vines of his attack withered, he found the creature's mask, a small handful of sparkling golden candy wrappers flattened out across the front of it. Had it stolen them in an attempt to make it's mask gold like a true Yamask?
Quickly peeling the wrappers off the mask, he found the ring on his finger leaping to life and growing to a size large enough to walk through, just like the one they had taken to get here. "That took less time than I expected but let's get out of here! I don't think a fight with this thing will go well if it lasts more than a few seconds." He urged Jezebel and Areklos, quickly pushing them through the ring and back to where they had come from.
((Was gonna have this take a couple more posts but it's well past Halloween so I figured I'd speed it up a bit. xP))

SubonicXP "You two! Put your hands up and step away from the...ring?" One of the officers shouted at Darts and Tristen, both brandishing weapons. It didn't look good they were standing next to the immobile body of the teen hoodlum, a knocked out Pokemon, and a destroyed fire hydrant that was still spraying water and flooding the street. A Stoutland growled at the side of the other officer, just waiting for one of them to make a sudden movement and when they did it was on. Darts raises his hands, a half-eaten Reese's cup in one and what looked like the tail end of a Pay Day in the other. "Felp fooks fike the fjig fis fup." He manages, spraying chocolate and peanuts out of his mouth with each syllable as he winks at Tristen, before sweeping his jacket across the both of them dramatically. If Tristen had the timing down properly... this should be an illuminating experience for the police.

If Tristen had the timing down properly... this should be an illuminating experience for the police. Tristen would recall his Rampardos after a thanks to the ancient Pokemon then would make his way over towards the Choice Specs, reaching down and picking them up, staring at them for a second. Really, on any other occasion, they're just what they are. Didn't see anything that special about them. But apparently it was what they were here for due to their exit had appeared before them. But before they made their way through, the police had finally arrived. "Wha...?" Tristen asked. This...did look pretty bad. They had at least two bodies paralyzed on the ground, a wrecked hydrant...and they were the only ones standing. Not helped by the fact that Darts had his hands raised up with a mouth full of treats like he was the guilty party. Tristen wanted to explain his case to the officers, wanting to be law abiding, but at the same time, he wasn't here for anyone here. "...yanobye!" Tristen shouted, his mane lighting up and unleashing a blinding Flash upon the officers...which would probably catch Darts as well. "COMEONCOMEONCOMEON!" he said, dragging Darts off to the ring to bail out.

Leslie's steel body probably saved her a lot of pain as far as the random objects were concerned which slammed and bounced off of her, may leave a few bruises but they wouldn't break anything. No, it was the candles and their ridiculously powerful flames that were the real problem. Sure, the fire hurt, a lot, but it was the plethora of scents that she was being baked in that added the real injury. Once it was all over she was going to smell like the perfume aisle of a cheap knock off store. A hundred different scents, each smelling terrible separate and worse all together. Torkoal would slam its fireball of a body into the monstrous couch, knocking it away from Aiden and leaving it lit if flames its self, the Fire Spin igniting the fabric. The chaos would continue for awhile after Aiden had grabbed the crucifix, the body standing amidst the chaos as his Poliwrath summoned forth a Rain Dance and put out those candles that threatened to turn Leslie into what the coroner would only be able to describe as the burnt corpse of a cheap Kalosian call girl. With the candles extinguish the crucifix in Aden's hand would begin to glow and the others flying around would fall to the ground. Aden would get the idea to hold up the object and when he did the ring given to them by Hoopa would come to life its self, expanding in size as it opened up the portal back. Apparently the crucifix its self was Hoopa's treasure? No, it wasn't. They could both see it on the floor among the clutter of items, a small cracked picture frame containing a photo of a little girl and Hoopa, the light from the crucifix casting down upon the framed picture to point it out to them. "Nooo! Finish the song!" A sinister voice cried out, the wall behind them splitting open as a pair of hooked fingers dug their way out from behind the wall, a toothy smile seen in the darkness behind the crack. They better get out of there and fast, cause these hands didn't seem fact as they came out of the wall and smacked objects away and were connected to arms, the massive hands opened to grab them up like dolls. Almost the exact moment Tristen and Darts had passed through the ring the pair could hear the sound of barking and gunshots, the police evidently decided to switch to more 'definitive' measures in that moment. That was Unovan police for you. The pair would make it through safe and sound the ring snapping shut and reducing in size immediately and clattering to dead forest floor. They made it back to Route 20, the Winding Woods. "Hey! You're the first ones back! Doggy and baby worm! Did you have fun? Where's my treasure?" Hoopa greeted the pair as they reappeared.

Reappearing in the forest alongside the others who'd made it back, Wren would ensure Jezebel and Arkelos were through as well before looking to his hand to find the bundle of sparkling golden candy wrappers still securely in his grip. Some of them had branding on them. One read "Ferrero Rocher" on it in a bold print while another bore a small sticker with an intricate font spelling out "Lindor" still attached. Something told him it wasn't the candy wrappers Hoopa treasured but something else. Perhaps a memory tied to them?
"Fairly certain I've found your treasure we went after." He told Hoopa as he held out the wrappers, the portal ring behind and his companions shrinking down and dropping to the forest floor in the same way that Darts and Tristen's portal had. "Now where is our friend?" He asked, heart racing as his anxiety kicked in from the expected confrontation.

With the golden Dragon Fang in hand the ring the pair took with them would act on its own, floating up into the air in front of them and expanding greatly in size to that of the portal rings they used to get here. Nothing would stop them from passing through the portal and back into Winding Woods, arriving just after Tristen and Darts had, Hoopa waving at them from behind the first pair. "Hey! More uglies showed up! Hi! Not you though." Hoopa said, floating over to Abby and Veronica, pushing Abby away by pressing its little hand on the side of her face so it could get closer to Veronica. "You remind me of a queen I once met. Are you a queen? That your servant girl?" It asked, pointing at Abby. "The gang is all here it looks like!" Hoopa then declared once more Snagems showed up. "Treasure first, ugly friend second." Hoopa replied to Wren, floating up to him and flicking him on the nose.

Absinthe immediately pushed Hoopa's hand off her face and let Fluffy out of her ball, the tall Bewear looming over the legendary. "You better start learning some manners or my friend here is going to start getting violent. I'm in a bad enough mood as it is without you basically begging to be forced into a fainted state." Abby insisted, Fluffy punching her paw to illustrate her trainer's point.

Tristen once again had to make what was essentially a 'superman' dive for the second time tonight, made all the more apparent where his chest was covered in dirt, grass, mud, and who knows what else because someone had to escalate matters more than what needed to be. Tristen then lifted his head up, seeing the Hoopa. Tristen looked back towards Darts then sighed, holding up the pair of Choice Specs. "This didn't seem worth it..." Tristen said.

He hefts two large bags heaped to the brim with candy, taken from the bullies as they left. "Totally worth it."

"And why would we finish that? I've read enough creepy stories to know what likes to happen when it does," Aden remarked in response, holding the crucifix up. He was still determined to toss it if he needed to, but when the light from it reflected onto a framed picture, he caught enough of a glimpse of it to be fairly certain this was what he and Leslie had been sent here to collect. "In fact, I have a song I'd like to submit, if you don't mind. It goes a little something like this, but first... heads up!" In one fell swoop, he'd kick the picture towards Leslie to grab and take out an Ultra Ball in his free hand. "Now, where was I...? Oh, yeah. One, two, away you go!" He'd toss the glowing crucifix at one hand first, then the Ultra Ball at the other hand. He wasn't worried about seeing if this thing was even some sort of Pokemon that could be caught; he just wanted to further catch it off guard somehow. "Hoopa, any time you'd like to give us our escape route would be appreciated right about now!"

Eventually, Veronica and Abby made their way back to the gate where they arrived. They would wait for Hoopa to open up a portal back. By then, Veronica would offer the golden dragon fang to Hoopa.

Wren shook his head when he nose was flicked, momentarily surprised by the action, before thrusting the glittering candy wrappers into Hoopa's hands. "Here, then." He stated simply, watching as the others handed over their, admittedly more amazing-looking, treasures. "Now let's see him!" He insisted.

"And I got the fifth item. It was right over there." Sub said as he tossed a Pink Scarf onto the pile of items the Snagems collected, the man pointing off into a bush. Hoopa seemed a bit embarrassed at this revelation that one of its most cherished treasures was just several feet away in a bush. Whoops.
"Yay! The weirdos actually did something right! Normally humans and hybrids like you either break stuff or try to kill each other but you guys are pretty okay!" Hoopa cheered, using its single ring to spirit away the pile of treasures. It then looked at the Snagems for awhile, guessing that they were probably curious why such random stuff was considered treasure worthy to the mythical Pokemon. "A long time ago I made a friend with uglies like you, a baby ugly if you will. She was really nice, small like me, I guess too small to be a normal human. We had a lot of fun together until one day she went bye bye. The humans kept saying something about Arceus taking her? And that dock-turds were surprised she lived as long as she did with her deez eez. I didn't get it but it made me said that she went away. Those treasures were things that reminded me of her." Apparently, if Sub understood correctly, Hoopa once befriended a little girl, smaller than normal, who had a disease of some sort and suddenly died one day. It was certainly a sad story.
"I'm sorry about kidnapping your friend, I just wanted my stuff back. But now that you got it back a deal is a deal." It said, and with a flip of its single ring a certain Ghost Channeler would come tumbling out of thin air. "Now if only I could find my other ring but for now I'm happy. Thanks, uglies." Hoopa said happily. "You weirdos can go home now."

She spoke honestly, as if considering to actually have any. Veronica simply grinned, her Sableye sharp teeth showing through. "Thanks though." Veronica was curious about what sort of queen the pokemon meant. After it made mentions of an old friend, it made her wonder just how old this pokemon was and she couldn't help but stare curiously. Maybe another day.
