We've taken a collection of the Guild's news from the year of 2017 - 2018. We wrapped it all up into one page for your viewing pleasure. This way you can read about some of the things that we have gone on without having to go through a ton of pages.
GEG's 2017 Members Of The Month: This was something that we started in March 2017 as a way of recognizing our various members, staff, generous volunteers, and phenomenal contributors.
I'm not sure what to say about myself other than I love nature (even though I have a purple thumb lol ) and believe in the fae and spirit world. I love and treasure my family and friends. I love the beach and any watery place to swim.
o(〃♥ ヮ ♥ 〃)o Thank you very much for this amazing award! I'm really glad to help out as much and as long as I can for the Guild and as well as outside the Guild's premises. ^ ^ I honestly have no idea there is such an award but I'm really happy to know that my efforts are and have been acknowledge by our awesome Guild Captain and it's members. ^ ^

Have you ever saved an animal’s life?
Sort of... A squirrel tried to jump through the spokes on my bike while I was riding through the park. I braked so fast I ended up somersaulting over the front of the bike. The squirrel, still stuck between the spokes, wasn't moving. I thought I killed it. As I tried to find something to protect my hands, I turned the bike wheel, allowing the squirrel to drop to the ground. A moment later it jumped up and darted into the bushes.
Thank goodness for helmets, martial arts, wrestling, and good reflexes. Both of us were fine! emotion_yatta
Have you ever spoke in front of a large group of people? How did it go?
I have - on several occasions. The papers in my hands wouldn't stop shaking! I wonder if they were shaking so much people were more focused on the shaking papers than what I was saying. Be silent silly papers! emotion_facepalm
Sadly I don't have any words of wisdom, but I decided to grace you all with my presence and a picture of me! ( It was a rushed job. ) Now, as your evil zombie overlord, I demand lots of cheese cake, fuzzies, boston cream pie, and for Pesty to stop giving out my pants every time people take my shoes and toss them for her games. scream

Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away...there lived......a little alien, blue as can be, he seemed to be looking for a far off distant but hidden planet with great treasures called Fairy Falls. But the treasures were hidden!....hehe In order to find Fairy Falls he had to take the help of the 3 Stooges, the 3 Musketeers and the 3 little pigs.
They split up into groups with one from each to search everywhere for the poor little alien. They looked in trees, Under rocks, behind bushes, around the waterfall and creek until their minds grew tired and their group stopped somewhere to pee.
The rest stop looked like a palace and smelled like roses but lurking beneath the surface in a hidden cavern was a grotesque looking creature that can only come out at night and responds when you say, "Sausages." He was a hairy little beast who loved the sound of flatulence echoing through the hills on quiet nights. It made him giggle but if you indulged him he would answer one question for you. Hmm...
The beast growled and shouted "Put down that light"! Not wanting to annoy him I put out the light. "Where are you?" I asked but the beast only wondered if that was your one question and he was not about to reveal his whereabouts. He responded with a question of his own.
The Beast huffed and asked, "Why are you bothering me in my place of peace and solitude?" Trying to explain that I had stumbled into his home whilst looking for treasure was more difficult than I thought. I wanted to think and so I sat down on a whoopee.... ~cushion, oh my the ruckus it made, all the other wild beasts turn their heads, then I saw something coming towards me and~realized it was the Sausage Beast, himself, rolling across the ground, laughing.
Alphabet Story Time: Newest Update: 5/31/18
The story so far....
A sweet little faerie flew alone in a forest one bleak and dreary day..... cherishing all the sights and sounds of the dawn, daily rising, all the animals frolicking! Everything was in harmony and so serene. From faraway came a piercing sound.... Granted there are shriek owls in the forest, this... Hallowed eve that we are approaching... Invisible turned the faerie scared of the sounds Just in time because she saw a Keg that was nearly hidden by a Large tree stump and she was so thirsty for Months that she made a hole in the keg Not noticing the naked nymph Overseeing the magical keg. Practically watering at the mouth from Quality fresh kumquats the size of Ripe watermelons. Suddenly she saw Sally selling seashells That she turned into candles. Unaware there was ugly underwear underneath a Velvet dress that had Weird swirls all over it and Xanax crushed into Yesterdays breakfast Zingers that made her zany And really uncomfortable
Beautiful rainbow colored butterflies changed her disposition and Created a confusing kaleidoscope of color making her Dizzy and delirious causing her to Escape into a new dimension where she discovered...
Flying ferrets fluttering about and Giant green gorillas galloping in glorious gardens. Henceforth, she decided, never to drink from the keg In that magical keg, was something ominous jiggling around!

Captain, Niamh Cuina (Tina) passed away quite suddenly and unexpectedly.
RIP, Tina
It's hard to forget someone Who gave you so much to remember.
While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet her beyond the veil.

R.I.P. : Nashoba1 (Joe)
Joe was very sick but did not let on to many people....he had diabetes which was all over the place and was a smoker then add the stress he had in life just all added up and lead to a heart attack....his younger brother Matt said that Joe had been waking up feeling he couldn't breathe.....then he got woke up with Joe being loaded into an ambulance....they said he had heart failure and acid in his blood from kidney failure....they also said he had a heart attack in the ambulance....he passed out in the ambulance so thankfully he was in no pain....his family was with him but his parents stayed while the rest went home....when they got home at 2am they let them know that Joe's heart stopped at 12am and they could not revive him....this happened several months ago....they to are in shock and trying to move on and missing Joe.......
This is thanks to Skyailia, who has been keeping in touch with Joe's brother. Also, Thanks to Nidorous for posting a Guild announcement in *~Our Friendship Guild~*.
He was a middle child of 9 siblings, a military guardsman, a husband, a father of two, and a grandfather of two. He worked hard all of his life to support his family and fought many health problems over the years. Today, he's in heaven with his parents and other family members that have passed before him.
Queentintin is an Aunt! mrgreen Congratulations to you and your sister! heart
Her sister had a baby girl and named her Sage. She weighed 7lbs & 2 ounces with lots of hair.

On the 12th of this month, there was a 'stand' taken once again on the internet to let people / companies voice their opinions on the NEW SOPA. Yes, the thing that threatened the internet before is back.
