Her roar of a response made him take a step back, fear flickering back into his eyes. For all his fear though, repulsed as he was by it, there was some part of him that kind of wished her hand had stayed where it was.
Maybe because he was still so ******** up about the whole thing. Or maybe because she kind of reminded him of his mom, in an equally ******** way.
Or maybe, even if he didn't have the word for it, he wished he couldn't read the empathy for what it was instead of the pity that it wasn't.
Either way, Eurydike wouldn't be able to move until she was already gone, his shoulders slumping in the heart of the graveyard. A ghost with no name...
Maybe next time, he'd have the strength to tell her.

[Corrupt Mab] HP: 18/20
So many interesting bits of data going by, but really...she just wanted to get out.
Hair and face neatly done up for what she hoped would be the last time, Mab moved towards the exit.
Everything had been darkness and void, and then suddenly, startlingly, it wasn't. Air entered her lungs, consciousness returned, and with it the memory of those thundering footfalls pursuing her, a blast of hot, moist air at her back, and he breath stealing pain of of dozens of dagger-sized teeth stabbing into her from every side. She screamed as she jerked up and awake, huddling around herself in horrified terror as her brain tried to wrap itself around what had happened.
And what was happening now.
It took a long time for her to calm down enough to actually think. The face she lifted to look up at the sky was tear stained, puff and red, and she swiped at her cheeks with the back of her hand as she tried to make sense of what she was seeing.
Stars spilled across the sky in volumes she'd only ever seen on pictures or documentaries, but her view was truncated on all sides, as if by frame matting. A benign analogy for a much harsher reality. As she got to her feet her hands went out to try to steady herself and met the cool sides of the recently dug grave and she snatched it back. "Oh God, where am I?" Why was she in a grave?!
Whatever calm she'd managed to regain began to slip away again. Phoebe's breathing sped, pulse hammering in her chest as she turned in place, trying to see how she was going to get herself out of there. "Hello?" She thought she could hear voices out there, but not what they were saying. "Hello! Can somebody help me!?"
There was no answers. She was going to have to get herself out. "Okay." Her weight shifted from foot to foot as she sized up the dirt wall. "Okay," she said again as she dug her fingers in, bare feet following a second later.
It wasn't pretty, and end the end it was less a vertical ascent and more her digging out the dirt into a more climbable slant, but she made it. Dirt streaked and out of breath she emerged from the ground just in time for the cemetery around her to collapse, thrusting her out and into a new realm.

Mauvian Etoile HP: 18/20
It seemed like it took forever, but finally, good and justice prevailed! … In a sense of speaking. The mean and creepy graveyard keeper guy with the shovel was gone, and peace seemed to be restored once more... sorta. Etoile didn't really know what had been going on with that corrupt and nega general, but it was probably better not to try and find out, in spite of her curiosity. They were bad people, after all! And good guys weren’t supposed to be dealing with bad people… even though she had made friends with a corrupt cat ages ago, not that she knew it was a corrupt cat.
Another senshi was calling out something about there being a fight in the desert (dessert?) bottle, and Etoile kind of wanted to help out! But then she caught a glimpse of Bernard and Lepus leaving the graveyard, and went after them too. It was probably a good idea to tell them about it- then they could go together. Spying the glowing gate in the distance, the little cat followed after her companions, intent on reuniting with them.
Hopefully there wouldn’t be any more hungry dinos when they returned. Etoile didn’t really want to become a snack for a monster again- once was enough!
"No." Aventurine repeated, staying exactly where he was even when General's pet bounded off, clearly eager to please.
He was still too sore about losing the snitch to some pest despite having retrieved the golden bone and, frankly, he felt he deserved a moment to rest. Death wasn't permanent, no, but that didn't mean it was any less jarring or that waking up in an open grave was any less taxing. He didn't care to seek out a return so quickly.
He had spent much of this time successfully (mostly) completing the tasks at hand alone. He deserved a moment of rest, the thought.
His refusal would turn out to not matter, because the general's attention was elsewhere and then she was gone.
Good. He could lay here longer still.

The air around you begins to vibrate. You can feel it. Suddenly, in the middle of the space, a black hole opens up, and it's sucking you in!
This is the transition! Please move to the next thread that has been linked for the final part of this event! Everyone must move to the new thread. The dimensions in the trap realm are closing, and not allowing entry for anyone anymore
