It had been a while since Meadow had seen Aurelia. He had a present for her, but how... did he give it to her? He looked at the rammykin bobbing beside him. He hoped that Aurelia would like it. He remembered when they were younger and competed to see who could have the most plushies, and he was always jealous of her and her familiars. Now he had his own hoard of familiars, it was time to get Aurelia to catch up. Yeah! That's what this was. He called Aurelia to meet him at the park, and he waited for her to show up.

Aurelia was so excited as she made her way to the park. It had been so long since she had seen Meadow, the both of them being busy with their schoolwork and family things and such. She wondered how much he had changed, if at all, and what they could do while at the park. She had brought art supplies in her pink shoulder bag that she had started customizing with funky patches and bedazzling stones and studs, just in case they wanted to do something artsy...like draw things in the park and then make them a little crazy. She even had her big notebook she had started using to write play ideas down in, because anything they did might turn into a story! In the distance she could see him and she picked up her pace into a jog. "Heeeeeyyyyy Meadow!" She called out in a sing-song tone as she got closer, happy to see her friend again.

Meadow saw Aurelia coming and waved. "Hey!" He smiled, and felt a little nervous for some reason. Why? He and Aurelia had been friends for a long time! He shook his head a little. He had to get it together! He started walking towards her to meet her. "Good to see you again! It's been too long!" The rammykin behind Meadow floated over his shoulder and bleated loudly in Aurelia's face.

As she closed the distance and Meadow came more into view, Aurelia felt....weird. He looked the same but different...and it was really nice. She slowed to a stop as he walked close to meet her, feeling oddly nervous and unable to look away from his face. Why did that make her feel like this? He was her best friend, why was she suddenly nervous? "I know! We both got busy but I'm so glad to see you!" She got close, about to give him a hug when something fluffy floated over his shoulder and made a sound right in her face. She went cross-eyed and shook her head for a second before a huge smile broke out on her face. "Oh my Nine you're sooooooooooo cute!" Her voice squeaked a bit and she reached up to pet the rammykin's wool, giggling at the softness. "What an adorable little cloud!"

Meadow could only laugh at the rammykin, then laughed even harder at Aurelia's reaction. "You like it?" He smirked a little. "I thought you might... do you have one of these of your own? You know, a floating friend for Gabby or something..." He blushed a little, remembering when they played with her sealpup and nezubat as freshlings. Ah, those were the days. He reached up and pat the rammy's fluff, watching it bob in the air. They were fun familiars.

"I LOVE it. It's sooooo soft!" Aurelia was quietly squealing as she spoke, making little movements so she didn't startle the rammy while she touched its little ears. Oh they were like velvet! "I don't, actually. I don't think I've seen these little guys before until now." She smiled up at Meadow when he brought up Gabby. "She's still happy with the other little critters in my dorm. I....had to have my own room just so I had enough space for me and my familiars." She remembered when they played together and had dressed up Gabby in a doll's dress..which she then proceeded to flop away in, getting it covered in some of Meadow's paints before she went for a swim in the fountain. "I bet you have enough of your own now to make a zoo." She giggled nervously; wait, why was she nervous? Why were the things she was saying suddenly sounding kind of....dumb?

"Well... if you like it so much... why don't you take it?" Meadow started blushing. "I... I did bring it home for you..." Oh damn, why was he blushing now? He covered his face, looking away. "And I already... have one."  I won it here
