Round 2
The second round will last 2 weeks, and ends on 2/3/19 @ 11:59 PM EST.
You have been assigned a mock pair and details on what we would like to see for this round; we wanted to be able to provide individualized feedback, and we appreciate your patience as we prepared the second round.
....Requirements All entries must be on official lines. We will need at least 3 samples at the edit level you've applied for; for instance, if you've applied for a minor edit cap, we will need at least three minor edited samples. If you've applied for an unedited position, we will need at least three spliced samples. If they have been included in your original entry you may do any edit and splicing level you feel is appropriate for your entry. If they have not been, or we specifically provide feedback on the type of edits, please use this round to practice. The edit and splicing level of your entries does not have to be determined by the edit and splicing levels of the parents; please use the level that is pertinent to your application and feedback. Users must complete a minimum of 2 mock children using the assigned pair. Optionally, users may opt to make more or CC any two parents (either from the pets other users have been given, or from the "Additional Pets" section) to create additional mock children. If you are interested in this option, please: 1. do not start until your assigned mock children have been completed, and 2. specify who your selected mock parents are.
Kyaishi
We would like to see how you do with an odd-color-choice couple that is partially edited and see how it's converted to unedited markings (we understand there is a limited template selection).
We would like to see your natural entries pushed to the next level, and see natural pets that look more organic even when they have little markings, such as the mock parents below.
We would like to see smoother line quality, shading, and markings with no pixelation. In addition, we would like to see more complex markings, color combinations, and colored shading.
We would like to see some more depth in your templates, such as highlight layers, and suggest lightening the lineart a bit. In addition, we would like to see accessory edit samples and unnatural colors and markings
Additional Pets Additional pets to CC as mock parents (including any pets above) after the required two entries have been completed.

Hi staff, thanks so much for the opportunity! I had fun with this pair, so I did a third kid- I may pick up another CC couple later this week if I get my other work done, but let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see! heart

Thank you soooo much for this chance! I really love the pair I was given.

Thank you so much for the chance! The pair I was given was a fun little challenge, but has been worth the growth its given me!

Ah, I just wanted to say thank you so much for giving me this opportunity! I'm stoked to be able to breed some beautiful babies. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

This was such a challenge but I had an absolute blast, thank you so much! I did two offspring that prioritised the natural markings and colours of the parents, but then I did a third child because I felt if I had done this as a real breeding, I would've had at least one child that had some of Umaia's turquoise.
Thank you so much for this opportunity~! It has been a pleasure to use this as a learning experience, and as a chance to push myself (plus, this was a fun and challenging duo). ^^; Good luck to all other entrants, and if I have time today (unlikely), I may CC a pair. ^^;
