Role: Random ice demon soldier, Valencia's brother
Best Trait: His um.. Enthusiasm is matched by none!
Worst Trait: He tends to act before thinking or without thinking at all.
Good Habit: He is quick to correct his mistakes.
Bad Habit: He has trouble finding the motivation to finish things he starts.
Abilities: ((Make sure you read on your race before you make these))
✦ Water Generation - Alessadro is able to generate water, which appears in different colors and effects people that have contact with it differently depending on the color.
Red - Causes mild to severe joint, muscle, and chest pains
Orange - Causes mild to severe dizziness, and can make it difficult for someone to stay upright
Yellow - Temporarily paralyzes parts of a person that it comes into contact with
Green - Causes mild to severe nausea, and can even induce vomiting
Cyan - Causes mild to severe fatigue, lowering movement speed and reaction time
Blue - Causes a mild to severe mental fog, leading to a lack of focus and clarity
Violet - Causes increased sensitivity to stimuli, and increased physical weakness over time
✦ Demon Physiology - He has the physical abilities demons typically have. That is.. Enhanced physical abilities, especially his strength and speed, but also including other physical abilities such as durability, endurance, stamina, and reflexes, though to a lesser degree.
Arctic Adaptation - Due to being an ice demon, Alessandro's body is perfectly adapted to survive cold environments. He has a very high tolerance for extreme cold, and isn't effected by snow-blindness.
Strengths:
✦ Unarmed combat - He is much better at fighting without weapons than he is with them. So he mostly tends to make use of that demonic strength to punch people's lights out.
✦ Fights dirty - He will take any advantage he can to win a fight. Winning is all that matters after all, right?
✦ Doesn't give up - When he gets knocked down, if he can get back up, he will. While he may lose interest in things ridiculously quickly, he is still the type of person to not give up easily if he really sets his mind on something. This also tends to translate into him not giving up even when he should..
✦
Weaknesses:
Powers
✦ Valencia - In more ways than one, his sister is probably his biggest weakness. Setting aside any 'sibling bond' nonsense, his powers are not the most useful for fighting without her.
✦ The strength of the effects his water causes varies in severity depending on just how much water a person was hit with. Someone who only touched a little would be less effected than someone who was completely soaked.
✦ The various effects only last until the water has dried. Depending on how much water is on them, this can be anywhere from 1 post to 5 posts.
✦ A target can only be under one effect at a time.
✦ He can only generate water, but not manipulate it beyond that.
✦ He can only hit a person with his water at a maximum of ten feet.
✦ His water can be evaporated by extremely high temperatures.. Or under the same conditions normal water would. It's just faster with higher temperatures.
Physiology
✦ Obviously, due to being a demon, he is weak to holy powers
✦ Holy ground, such as that found at churches, has a weakening effect on him.
✦ He is more sensitive to increases in temperature than others.
✦ There is a limit to how much cold he can handle. Like anyone else, if it gets cold enough, he could possibly freeze to death. It just.. Takes a hell of a lot more cold than one would naturally find anywhere.

Bio: Alessandro had a childhood that was pretty good, compared to many other demons. He and his sister, Valencia, were born in an isolated village in the Underworld. It was a strangely peaceful, almost idyllic in its simple beauty. Of course there were conflicts between the residents of the village, but these were usually resolved quickly. They were not really involved in the wars between the races.. Perhaps their village was simply so out of the way that it was overlooked during all of that mess.
Much of his childhood was spent carelessly. He enjoyed running around with Valencia, and the other children, playing games and simply enjoying this time while it lasted. All the children knew from a young age that one day, they would no longer be able to play like this.. It was best to enjoy that time while it lasted, and he wanted to live life to the fullest. When it came to causing trouble, he was a clever little prankster. Mischief was practically his middle name, and it was something he took pride in. Laughter filled the days, which passed far faster than he ever would have expected, even though they seemed to last forever at the same time.
Eventually, the day finally came when they were to take the trial that marked the transition into adulthood in their village. Every one given their first swords, which was by itself an exiting event. When they all had their new weapons, they were given the task to hunt beast-like lesser demons that could be found in the nearby forests. Part of Alessandro wanted to stick by his twin, as they had often done as children, but he knew that was not an option. They both had to do this on their own. So they went their separate ways in the forest, to prove themselves alone.
He was not one of the first to return, victorious after slaying some demonic beast, but he was certainly not the last. Like many, he had injuries from his battle, but he wanted to wait for his sister to return as well. It was a wait that seemed to grow longer as time passed.. When she was among the last few, worry began to grow.. And continued to do so as she was known to be the only one still in the forest.
Life was a blur of training after that day. Childish things that had once filled his days were put aside to learn the ways of their parents. They were to continue their family's legacy as warriors, after all, even if their village was peaceful. Even as he grew stronger, truly grew into adulthood, he still kept that mischievous spirit he had always had. It would surprise the people that knew him later to know that he was content, even happy, to live like this. Such a carefree time couldn't last forever, especially not in a place like the Underworld. Events were happening in the world outside their little village that would change things forever.
Their little village had been noticed by the Demon King, or at least officials serving him. In a time of war, everyone must do their part. When word reached them that the emissary of the Demon King was coming, there was a flurry of activity as their village prepared to receive such an important visitor. Everything had to be perfect. After all, this was not an every day occurrence. When the day came, the village was practically abuzz with talk. Speculation, even, and the daydreams of youngsters eager for the chance to prove themselves in a real war. Even Alessandro became excited at this prospect. No doubt they all had an idealized vision of what could happen. As much as the realities of warfare had been drilled into their heads, none of them had ever experienced anything more dangerous than fighting the lesser demons that made up the local wildlife.
Around the village, many of their finest warriors were offered positions out on the front line. Almost all eagerly accepted these.. As for their parents, they were invited to serve within the Demon King's castle as members of his personal guard. An invitation they accepted, more than willing to protect the king they admired so much. To his disappointment, he and Valencia were to stay behind, continuing life in their quiet little village. He knew better than to argue against this. Their parents were only doing what they believed was best. Still, it was a bitter pill to swallow. The day they left would be the last day he and his sister ever saw their parents, though they did not know it at the time.
They remained in contact for several years through letters sent back and forth. From their parents, talking of life in the castle, of so distant events, how the war was going. They spoke of their king with only the kindest of words. There was no indication of unrest at the court. From the twins, they told their parents about how life was progressing in their little village. With so many of their warriors gone off to fight in the war, there was much for them and the other remaining youngsters to do. They had to step up to take care of the village and each other. It was a lot of responsibility for such young demons, but they did their best. Alessandro missed their parents, and he was sure Valencia felt the same, even though neither of them ever said as much. The focus was left to other things, as it had to be.
The end of those years came suddenly. The first, and only, sign they had that something was wrong was when the letters from their parents just stopped. Weeks passed with no word, even though they continued sending their own letters to the castle. As time passed without a response, Alessandro began to grow worried. This was completely unlike their parents. He, and his sister, would learn the truth of the matter soon enough.. What a harsh, cruel lesson that was.
At the end of that anxious wait for news from the castle came with soldiers, led by a representative of the new leader. They came with steel and fire, to slaughter any that crossed their path. The demons of their little village fought back, of course. Alessandro and Valencia fought too. None of their training had prepared him for something like this. Seeing people he had known all of his life cut down, mercilessly slaughtered until only a few were left standing. There was nothing he could do to help his friends, when he had to focus on keeping himself alive. To this day, he still believes that if he had just been stronger, he could have done more to protect his home.
At the end of what felt like an eternity, but was really only a few hours at the very most, the fighting came to a halt. Valencia and Alssandro were among the last left standing. As the envoy spoke, they learned that the king they had been so loyal to had been overthrown and killed, along with his entire guard. An ultimatum was delivered. All of the best warriors from their village were to go join the new army being crafted, or be killed. Between surrender or death, there was no choice. Like his sister, he begrudgingly agreed.
They were whisked away, quickly separated into different units. Training was what followed.. If it could be called that. He thought it was more like torture. It was clear right from the start that the demons around him at the very least looked down on him. At worst, there were plenty that hated everything he was. Unlike his sister, who had responded with a steely kind of determination, Alessandro's reaction was more.. Volatile. He reacted with obvious defiance, letting his emotions shine through with his actions. Even when he finally learned to at least give in a little, he would never do more than the bare minimum he had to. It was not the wisest choice. It's no surprise that he never became more than a soldier, even after surviving more battles than he cared to count.
As time passed, he got into a great many fights with other demons outside of battles. Sometimes he won, sometimes he didn't.. It really didn't take much for him to get into these fights. While his sister was climbing the ranks, he was proving to be more trouble than he was worth.. It all culminated into an incident with his commanding officer. He had always been rebellious, but it really crossed a line when he attacked his commander. It didn't matter to anyone why he lashed out like that. No, he was to be punished.. Given how serious the charges were, he fully expected his impending court martial to end terribly for him.
To his surprise, and the ire of his former commanding officer, he was suddenly transferred to Valencia's platoon at practically the last minute. It didn't take a genius to figure out she had managed to pull some strings for him.. In fact, he would have to be downright stupid not to know it after the talking to she gave him. While not entirely unexpected, it was still a shock to see just how much she had changed since they had last seen each other. She was.. Colder than he remembered. It seemed she had adjusted far better than he had. Still, he was pretty happy to see his sister.
In the time since then, they remained close to each other. Watching each other's backs as they fought in the war. He reigned in his behavior just enough to be acceptable among other demons. Mainly because of Valencia. He still acted out and often got into fights, but he managed to avoid vexing anyone actually important. When the unexpected truce between angels and demons happened, that changed things again. Mainly the tasks that they were given. No longer being sent off to a battlefield to fight for a leader he hated. He has mostly been waiting for this to end, as he knows it will sooner or later.
Personality: Alessandro is a very loud individual. He is excitable and very energetic. He is confident and friendly with practically everyone he meets (sometimes too friendly), though his mood can change in the blink of an eye. He doesn't have a very long attention span, but he always shows a lot of enthusiasm for what ever has his attention at the moment. Unfortunately, he also tends to lose interest really quickly as well. He just does not have much patience, so it is hard for him to wait for anything. He is pretty self centered too, more concerned with his own satisfaction than with others.
While not exactly stupid, he is prone to acting without thinking things through. Most of the time, this leads to him rushing headlong into a bad situation, or making a stupid mistake. He is willing to listen to others's ideas, mostly Valencia's, but he is headstrong enough that that probably won't stop him from doing something. If he thinks someone else has a better idea, he is quick to abandon his own idea for their's.. But he will act like their's was his plan all along. He does not really acknowledge his failings.
He also hates being told what to do. Being a soldier doesn't really suit his free spirited attitude. He has a lot of trouble with authority figures, but he has learned to pretend to be a good soldier and do what is expected of him.. Even though he prefers doing things his own way. He is pretty happy with where he is though, making the best of what he has. He usually enjoys the 'fun' parts, but doesn't care for the rest. It's not really uncommon for him to start fights with others, as he likes to test himself and prove he's better than other people.. Though, he often underestimates others anyway, so he loses nearly as often as he wins.
