⥏⥏ 𝐸𝓎𝓇𝓁𝒾 𝑅𝑒𝓈 ⥑⥑_____________________ Profile ⏣ Temper: None_________________________________________________ _ _ ~ Eryli entered on new day ~
She tried her best to maintain a somewhat professional air as she strolled by her friends new home... Although she'd already spent a little time there after the graduation, something about the royalty of the building seemed to tell her to try and not jump around like she usually would and to behave like a respectful guest. The mute felt a little embarassed though. Having not been ready to spend her summer at the barracks, the usually snow white dress she wore showed tints of grey dust... Although at the time it was the best she could show up in... Hopefully it didn't look too bad though. Hope I didn't miss too much... She'd ponder, completely oblivious to the recent events that have been unfolding. Eryli waved cheerily to the guards while passing through to the doorway, her goofy grin already sneaking through again.
Her jolly behaviour was quelled though upon seeing a stranger also waiting by the door. He seemed to have a supply of fruits... A delivery maybe? Or gift? Eryli tilted her head while watching and examining the male while approaching. Before being able to catch his attention though the door appeared to open before them to reveal the prince himself. Gee, he looks beat... What's going on? Waiting for the first visitor to give reason for his presence... Once there was a moment of silence Eryli inched forward, seemingly appearing from behind the man as she would smile in Mikhails direction, waving both her hands excitedly by either side of her face. _ _ _________________________________________________ ⎿ Mood: Chipper | Company: Mikhail, guards, stranger | Wearing: [Her Dress] but a little dirty. ⏋

Kayl Ardrus De'Valaer Sylrenya Duskwing
Probability || None ...
╔═══════════════════
Upon entering the home, Kayl followed one of the guards inside of the house until he reached the room where Lelyna sat. She was sitting by one of the large bay windows, some snacks and tea sitting on a small table beside her. Kayl smiled lightly and started to walk over to her. Watching the small hectic bustle of the servants continuing to prep and finish the packing for their trip to Valor, Kayl couldn't help but chuckle at Mikhail's persistant orders to and fro. Kayl walked up and gently patted his shoulder for a moment in greeting just as another guard walked up and announcement another guest at the front door. Letting Mikhail deal with his home affairs, Kayl waved him off and stepped over to Lelyna then. "Seems things might have gone a little off track," Kayl said with a slight smile as he stepped by Lelyna's chair and looked out the window. "Then again, M was always a slacker," Kayl said in jest at his best friend's behalf. It wasn't exactly untrue after all, Kayl could easily count the many times Mikhail would procrastinate on some official task back in Valor he had to perform, and the many times he would run off to fetch Kayl to go on an adventure when in realit he was avoiding his princely duties altogether. The troubling fun they had had.
As Kayl spoke and made some small talk, Sylrenya suddenly flew off of his shoulder and hovered down until she landed in Lelyna's lap. After everything that had happened, some of Syl's usual habits, such as maintaining her invisibility had somewhat been lax and dropped to an extent. All of the teachings and habitual survival abilities of the Fae sort of flew out of her mind after that night, and after gaining the courage to move forward from her friend Kayl, Syl was slowly coming around to letting her presence be known good or bad, come what may. Of course in this instance, invisible or not wouldn't have mattered, as Lelyna wouldn't have been able to see her any. So Syl looked up at Lelyna and brought one of her tiny hands up to place it on Lelyna's resting hand. "Good morning Lelyna..." Was what came out, as Syl tried to keep up with normal conversation as well. She hadn't really had the time to thank Lelyna for all she had done, and for showing her the truth, but she also wanted to strong, and so like Kayl, she started with small greetings and conversation. A moment after, Kayl spoke again, "So, are you ready for the trip back to Valor?" Kayl said while looking down to Lelyna and Sylrenya as he pondered his own thoughts on what to expect when he returned home in light of everything that he had learned and what he would say to his father.

╔═══════════════════ Lelyna smiled slightly at Kayl’s words. “Well, we did get a little off course…” Lelyna said knowing that Kayl would know what she meant. “But, all is well…we’ll be on our way in a few hours and on our way home.” Lelyna was overjoyed to know that Kayl would be joining them for the trip – there was so much they needed to catch up on.
Feeling a light weight land in her lap, Lelyna smiled at the scent of lavender and lilac – Sylrenya’s signature fragrance. Tilting her head down as if to look at the little fae, Lelyna offered her friend a warm smile. “Good Morning Sylrenya…I’ve missed you.” Over the last few months Lelyna had grown rather fond of Silme and thought of the little fae as a friend. To know that she was now, essentially, an orphan broke Lelyna’s heart. But, she was glad to know that Sylrenya had taken a particular liking to Kayl – she knew that her brother would protect the little fae at all costs, especially now that she needed them.
Nodding at Kayl’s words, she smiled. “More than ready…There’s so much that I miss, not to mention there are a lot of things that I am eager to show you.” Lelyna didn’t know if Silme was aware of their new-found bond as siblings, but regardless, Lelyna was happy to have her brother and the little fae around, even if she needed to keep their relationship a secret for the time being.
As Mikhail led Fidal and Eryli into the room, the tea arrived as well. The footman, having seen the other guests arriving had had the good sense to order even more refreshments to everyone could partake. Lelyna was happy that Eryli had come to visit before the trip – apparently her best friend was going to be training with the guards for the rest of the summer. While it wasn’t Lelyna’s ideal way of spending the break, her friend was very excited and thus, Lelyna was excited for her as well.
Fidal’s visit was unexpected but very welcome. The shifter, who had been present for the memory exchange at the infirmary had come to check on her to see how she was doing after the ordeal. While she didn’t know Fidal very well, she found the male to be a very kind and generous individual. Given that she had received some of his memories, she saw the friendly shifter in a slightly different light. Each of them had their pains, things they hid deep down, and it seemed the loss of his grandfather was one of those memories. Very few people knew that when she gave memories, she took them as well – equivalent exchange. Generally, she told people about the exchange before it happened, but with the urgency of the situation in the infirmary, there hadn’t been time…One day she would tell him what she had received, but until then, she would keep it a secret.
The six of them spent the next hour sharing tea and snacks and chatting about their summer plans while the servants finished up the rest of the packing. When Lelyna’s mother came to fetch them to depart, Lelyna knew that it was time to say ‘farewell’, but only for a short while. Taking care to give Fidal and Eryli hugs and words of gratitude for their visits, she then turned to Mikhail to lead her out while Kayl escorted Elenora.
Getting into the carriage that would take them to the harbor and the ship, Lelyna felt a flutter of excitement and nervousness as well. While Mikhail and Kayl were coming to visit her home, she and Kayl were also debating going to see their father…a meeting which would be tense and highly unexpected, but one that Lelyna was eager to partake in. Who knew, maybe her father had missed her, or maybe he’d been glad to be rid of his troublesome daughter…there was only one way to find out…

Lelyna came awake slowly with a small sigh. Stretching a little, she nuzzled her pillow. It took her a moment to realize that she was alone – that Mikhail wasn’t lying beside her in their exceptionally large bed. Rolling over into his spot, she opened her eyes and frowned a little. “Mikhail…? Are you here?” Perhaps he was bathing? Looking around the room, she marveled at the extravagance. The room was brilliantly decorated, lavish really. But then again, this was the Warsong Family Summer Home and they were Royals… Stretching a bit more, she cuddled into the blankets with a happy smile. Her gaze traveled over every inch of the area around her, taking in all the colors, the textures, everything.
Once she’d looked her fill and was well enough awake, Lelyna slipped from the bed and headed for the bathroom. She went through her morning routine, washing her face, brushing her teeth, etc. Heading into the walk-in closet Lelyna looked at all the clothes that hung on her side – all the lovely dresses her mother had made for her, the ones Mikhail had bought for her, the gown Kayl had purchased for her from Leo’s shop. Trailing her hands over the fabrics, she picked a white, red and gold gown that was thick and warm and perfect for the Winter Solstice. While there wouldn’t be a festival celebration, there was no harm dressing for the occasion.
With her hair pulled half up to keep it from her face, and the longer bits trailing down her back, she smiled at her reflection as she put on just a touch of lip stain. Slipping on some fur lined slippers to keep her feet warm, Lelyna walked from the bedroom and smiled wide at what she saw – decorations everywhere. There were wreaths of pine, winter flowers in vases and thick ribbons with bows hanging from the windows. Periodically there was a decorated tree…Gold and silver bells hung from various areas along with crystals that caught the light and shimmered with little rainbows. It was beautiful.
Walking through the house, Lelyna clasped her hands to her chest, heading for the kitchen where someone was hard at work. Stepping inside, she peeked around the corner, catching sight of her love, absorbed in his task. “Good Morning, My Prince…” Stepping around the kitchen islands, she came to his side, wrapping her arms around him to hold him from behind, her cheek pressed to his back. “I missed you this morning…but I see that you’ve been hard at work. Everything looks so beautiful, my love, thank you…”

╔═══════════════════ Mikhail was such a sweetheart…he was so thoughtful and generous. Lelyna had known that today was the Winter Solstice, but since the City had decided not to host the Feast or Festival, she hadn’t expected much of a celebration. However, it seemed that Mikhail was determined to celebrate with her, even if it was just the two of them enjoying a lovely meal and some beautiful decorations. Hugging his arm, Lelyna walked along with him as he showed her every little detail. All of it was so magical, she was in awe.
“You are so very thoughtful, my love…” She said with a smile, going up on tip-toe to kiss his cheek. “I trust you my love, you know what I like…” Lelyna wasn’t very picky and she trusted Mikhail to pick out something for her to eat and drink that she’d like. Taking a seat at the table, she watched Mikhail finish up his tasks at hand, Who would have thought that a Prince would be so handy in the kitchen? Smiling to herself, she sighed happily.
Later, she hoped to write a letter to her mother to tell her the amazing news. Lelyna knew that her mother would be delighted to hear that her blindness had been cured. The thought made her smile. “Darling, after we eat and spend some quality time celebrating, I’d like to take some time to pen a letter to my mother.” Speaking of which, she’d need to practice her penmanship…she hadnt written anything in years…
“And later, I’ll have to find you a suitable present~.” Lelyna said with a loving smile, resting her cheek in her palm as she watched him. All Lelyna really wanted to do was cuddle with Mikhail and make up for lost time – two months without him as a very long time. “And in the evening, Im thinking hot cocoa and cuddles? I could read to you if you like…” Gods she hadnt actually, physically read a book in years…

╔═══════════════════ After seeing all of the decorations and the little touches Mikhail had placed around the home, the two returned to the kitchen. She took a seat and enjoyed her lemon water while he got back to work on their meal. She couldn’t help but sigh happily as she watched him – it was so surreal, watching him cook. Before, she’d only been able to listen as he did things like this, but to watch him, it was so enjoyable.
Eventually, Mikhail plated their meal and brought everything over before heading back over to the counter to brew some special tea. Wanting to dine with him, Lelyna waited until his meal was plated and the tea was done before she picked up her fork and knife and began to eat. The tea Mikhail made her was delicious and oh so lovely – the smell alone was mouthwatering and memorable.
“Oh I would love to see the library…” She said longingly, realizing just how much she’d missed reading and enjoying a book. To be able to spend such a day and evening with Mikhail for the holiday – it was absolute perfection. After their meal, the two of them wandered around the house a bit more before heading to the family library. When they’d first moved in, Mikhail had given her the tour, taking her from room to room to describe everything. His description of the library had been spot on – it was just as he’d described it.
The couple spent the whole day curled up on the couch in front of the fire, reading to one another and having hot cocoa and tea. Cuddled close the whole day through, Lelyna felt like the luckiest, happiest girl in the world. She truly couldn’t have asked for a better Winter Solstice celebration…

Lelyna came awake on her own, a soft groan escaping her as she stretched in bed and yawned lightly. Feeling for Mikhail she sighed and frowned when she found the space next to her empty – she didn’t like waking up alone, but he was a Prince and she knew he had other duties to attend to. Taking a few moments, Lelyna laid in bed, looking up at the canopy as she came awake. It wasn’t until she realized how light it was outside that she was late for class. “Oh no!” Scrambling from the bed, she moved to make a dash for the bathing chamber when one of the maids stepped in with a breakfast tray.
“Good morning, Miss.” She said with a warm smile only to look at Lelyna in surprise as she ran past. “Miss? Is everything alright? Should I fetch his Highness?” She asked, setting the tray down and moving to follow Lelyna into the bathing room.
“I’m late for class! Mikhail usually wakes me up…” Oof! He was going to get his cheeks pinched the next time she saw him!
The maid blinked in surprise only to smile. “But Miss, his Highness had a note sent to the Academy to excuse you from classes today…It seems that there is an event of some kind and your attendance is needed…”
Lelyna was in the middle of splashing water on her face when she straightened and looked to the maid with confusion. “He did? I am?” Mikhail hadn’t mentioned any such event or occasion to her. Had he forgotten? Sighing a little, she felt relief – she was excused from class, somewhat – and a little irritation. She wished she’d known… “What a nuisance he is…” She whispered to herself, sighing and shaking her head a little. “Please draw me a bath…I’d like to bathe after I finish my breakfast….thank you…”
Stepping back out, she took a seat at the side table and sipped at her tea. Looking around the room, she noted the fresh flowers in the vases – all her favorites – and the fact that the tea she was drinking was one of her favorites as well. Smiling a bit to herself, Lelyna had to wonder what her love was up to…He had been rather busy lately and making trips into town that he insisted on going on alone…
After her meal and while she enjoyed her bath, half a dozen maids entered the room, three carrying new gowns and the other three carrying various boxes – all filled with accessories. It was official, Mikhail was up to something, and since it wasn’t her birthday, she had no idea what it might be.

╔═══════════════════ Lelyna was growing more curious by the moment. Once she was dressed, her hair styled, a light layer of make-up applied and her shoes and accessories put on, she was ushered out of the bedroom and down the hallway. It took her a few moments to figure out that she was being led to the sunroom – one of her favorite rooms in the whole house. Stepping into the space, Lelyna clasped her hands together and drew them up to her chest, her gaze moving throughout the space in awe before coming to rest on her beloved who looked as handsome as ever standing next to the fountain.
As he stepped toward her, she immediately offered him her hands, wanting to be close to him. Giving him a dazzling and loving smile, Lelyna looked up into his eyes. “Yes, although you gave me a bit of a scare! I thought I was late for class and I nearly scrambled from the bed to get ready!” She teased lightly with a smile.
Mikhail’s words made her blush a bit – Lelyna didn’t consider herself ‘Queenly’ but she wasn’t going to argue with the Crown Prince of Valor. If anyone knew what a Queen looked like it was Mikhail. Holding his gaze and gently squeezing his hands, she swallowed at the insinuation in his statement – was he going to do what she thought he was going to do? Seeing his pinkened cheeks and the way he was getting a bit flustered, she felt a flutter in her chest. Biting her lip a little bit, she watched him closely and didn’t say anything.
As Mikhail spoke from the heart, telling her how he felt and how much he loved her, Lelyna felt a warm fluttering in her heart. Her eyes began to get a little teary and when he moved to one knee, she placed a hand on her cheek in shock. Blushing deeply, she smiled down at him and nodded over and over. “Yes, Mikhail…I’ll marry you.” She whispered, her tears slipping free and trailing down her cheeks. She laughed a little bit and knelt down to hug him close. “I love you so much, Mikhail…I want to be with you forever…” She whispered, pressing her face against his neck for a moment before she pulled back to kiss his lips lovingly.
Lelyna didn’t know if this engagement was approved by his father – who was very strict – or if he’d talked to her parents about it either. But for the moment, she didn’t care. Lelyna belonged with Mikhail. She loved him with all of her heart and she wanted to be with him.
