▶ PersonalitySome might say she just never quite grew out of puppyhood. She's got some extra energy to burn and typically puts it to good use by exploring whatever territory she's in. Even if it's familiar, something could have totally changed over night! Sterling can also be quite the little daredevil. She's discovered it's another great way to lose some of that excess energy. So that ridge might be a little steep, well, she'll run right down it and keep her paws crossed nothing gets broken! She's also not afraid to face down a bear (though she hasn't actually gone face to face with one yet). While she enjoys the thrill that comes from daring activities, there is some self-preservation to the shewolf. She truly won't attempt something that could turn out fatal. But a little fur lost won't hurt anything, right?
Sterling also has a bit of a temper when you try to order her around, excluding her alphas and those of respected higher rank. But if you don't fall under either of those categories and try to tell her what to do, you'll most likely get a bite in the rump as response! However, she is very loyal to her pack, friends, and family. She might listen to them. But she'll always have their back and support them 100%. This has also made the shewolf highly protective of those she's very close to. Especially her brother. Anything that is a threat to him will meet her teeth and claws with no questions asked.

▶ PersonalityWhen this wolf is around, the entire area seems to light up with the presence of his personality. He's very much that wolf that everyone seems to know, or feel as if they've known. A very social and outgoing wolf who adores talking - a lot. Enough so that there are times one might wish to find the mute button. But if Mallow is really in to the conversation, he just can't help himself with how animated he gets! He does promise to try very hard not to invade your personal space. There have been a few times he's been nipped at because of this. But he'll never speak poorly of anyone, no matter their rank or past.
If there's one thing this wolf struggles with - besides understanding what "shutup" means - it's his inability to say 'no' to things. He'll cheerfully let you have his portion of deer if you ask, even though he might be starving. You could ask him for the world and more and Mallow would wag his bushy tail and try his best to provide it. He really just wants to make others feel welcome. Make them feel like at least one wolf out there appreciates them. He does, deep down, understand that not everyone will be so receptive. And there are those that will certainly take advantage of his good nature. But Mallow is not the best judge of character, having a terrible time at seeing the darkness in anyone. You could be a rogue killer and he'd still shine brightly at you. Attempt to make you feel welcomed. Right up until another wolf tries to attack.
He may be a charismatic and loving wolf, but Mallow will defend himself if he's forced to. A few nips and scratches are one thing. But if he feels his life is truly threatened, he'll do what he must to survive. Except killing another wolf. He just can't do it. It goes against who he is. But breaking a limb is not beneath him. He'll feel utterly terrible at having had to do so, but at least his foe would live. Whether that is a good thing or not, in the end, his conscience will be clean and ready to brighten someone elses day right up.

▶ PersonalityA fairly submissive wolf who is a little on the shy side, Whisper is not the most social of wolves. She tends to get nervous when attention is focused on her for too long, making it difficult for the shewolf to speak above a whisper. Hence the name chosen for her. She fears saying something wrong or offending someone. But she is a very sweet wolf. Soft spoken when she does speak, typically around individuals she feels more comfortable around. She's also a bit secretive in the sense she doesn't like speaking about what is on her mind. Unless you are a puppy. Those little balls of fluff seem to pull a different side of Whisper out. She'll talk with them (even though they don't always understand her), tell them stories, and even play with them. Occasionally, when no one is looking, she'll also poor her thoughts out to the Lady Moon, finding the Moon to be a good listener.

▶ PersonalityThere is a presence about this shewolf that forces you to take notice of her. She is not proud or arrogant nor is she kind hearted. A wolf that has been through many moons of heartache, loss, and survival, Cedar is gruff and thick skinned, but there is wisdom that lurks behind her amber eye. Cedar is perhaps dominant enough to hold the title of Alpha, if she chose. But Cedar has no desire to lead. She will not allow herself to turn into a creature like her father had been. A greedy and selfish Alpha that took too much and gave so little back to his pack. A small part of her refusal to lead stems from the guilt she holds over the adolescent years of her life, when she turned a blind eye on what was happening to her pack. It wasn't until she met her mate and was blessed with her first litter did Cedar admit to the sad state of their pack.
While she may have been gentle and kind at one point in her life, that part of her was locked away the day she watched her father kill her mate. His jealousy at her happiness turned to rage. He tried to take everything away from her, including her offspring. Cedar let her own rage and grief give her strength to defend her children. The fight between father and daughter was fierce. In the end, she was only able to save two of her offspring and managed to flee before her father could finish her off.
Cedar learned the hard way that raising pups with no pack is harsh. She taught her oldest son and daughter how to hunt and fight. And as each pup grew, Cedar became stern. She was hard on her pups, wanting them to become survivors. Her ability to show affection dwindled into non existence. Yet some part of her still held hopes for finding a place to call home once again. It was this hope that led the older shewolf to attempt having pups again with a lone wolf that traveled briefly with them. But it almost cost her her life and all but one pup survived. And with the loss of almost an entire litter and her life, the last of her hope was dashed.

Motherly Love: While she hasn't been the most loving mother in her older years, Cedar cares greatly for her children and will never leave their side until her last breath. Her two oldest offspring could attest to the fact she did, at one point, show them affection. But her youngest pup will have it the hardest. With him, Cedar is hard and indifferent at times. A part of her almost afraid to love the pup for fear of someone trying to take him. He is also a reminder of what she has lost over the many moons and it's difficult for Cedar to admit this. | [ Open ]
