Devanerus had been working hard in to the night, preparing his latest tea purchases in smelling jars, arranging the china to be just right, organizing the storefront and restocking his caravan. As a tea merchant, and one as well-know for his quality goods, Devanerus held himself to a certain standard of excellence that was at times difficult to achieve.
Now, Devanerus stood in the middle of the teashop he co-owned with Jade. It was the first time the doors would be opening to the public, and Devanerus didn't know what to expect. He was so accustomed to traveling to the business, and not so much waiting for the business to come to him. But, Devanerus was a patient man. The chimera could wait. At least for a little while.
The chimera stepped forward, wings tucking against his back and tail held high as he began to get the morning tea samples ready for the first ever patrons.
