Jonah gathered some snacks for the movie and then called for Lex to help him carry too popcorn and drinks to the table so they could all share. He was a little shy sitting with Lex and Demi, but at the same time he was kinda happy, everything was on the table and they would have a chance to learn about each other and let their relationship grow with time. He could only hope it would grow into a flower as pretty as the plants that Demi grew all the time. He didn't want his friendship with Demi to wither and die.
