Abigail sat with her hands neatly nestled in her lap. Today was the last day of her freshling years, and once summer was over, she would officially be a junior. Abigail didn't know much about what she wanted to be or where she wanted to go when it came to her life path. It didn't really matter to her, so long as Bonnie was along for the ride.

Summer was going to tough without her favourite hybrid around. Bonnie had gotten herself grounded for the summer. This would be the last day that the two would get to spend together, so Abigail was eager to finish her classes for the day, complete all her tests, and then spend the rest of the school hours hanging out with her best friend.

It was the simpler things in life that Abigail preferred. There was no need for lavish things, no need to have an end-goal or to end up wealthy. Abigail just wanted a comfortable life, with the future love of her life — someone who would be like her best friend. They would have their small, cute family, and they'd live in some sort of condo, maybe with a few vespercats, and they would live happily ever after.

That's all Abigail wanted. It didn't matter what wage she made or what she or her future partner did for a living. So long as they were happy, healthy, and spending quiet evenings together, there was not much else that Abigail could hope for.
