"Using something a brutish as a crowbar won't get you anywhere, sometimes a subtle application of force is all that is needed. "
Crow then drew a slender stiletto blade from her left sleeve, it's twin of course resting in her right.
"It's just a bloody closet." she muttered as she slid the tip of the blade horizontally along the vertical edge of the panel until there a subtle click as a catch behind the wall was caught by the length of the blade.
"It can be locked from the inside," Crow said dryly as she felt the panel shift after being unlocked by the blade.

"Though you may want to have Astal go in first, he probably knows more than myself concerning the trivialities of the manor... but it should be unlocked now...if you wish to go on without Astal." she uttered dryly, her tone covering up her dread of opening the panel and entering the room beyond.

Bristi stood back as Crow unlocked the door, smiling slightly at her leader's semi-saucy reply. She heard the little mumble as well, and hoped that Crow wasn't proved literally.
In Bristi's opnion, it would probably be a good idea for Astal to check it all out. His personal experience could be useful. But in all actuality, the decision was up to Fallen. After all, it had been her mad rush to the closet that had started this whole escapade.
Which reminded Bristi that she hadn't seen the butler in a while.

"Where is Astal anyway?"

Anger flared in Fallen's eyes as Crow tried and failed as she had, and Astal was no where to be seen. Energy flowed through her veins as her boiled blood spead up and she walked to the pannel and asked Crow to step aside. Her muscles twitched and contracted as she strained to control her actions. Well.. the person who ran something for Ru'ni would never have the ability to do that.
Her hands were placed just above eye level on each side of the pannel. Stretching out her body she let her legs fall into a runners stance with her right a foot behind the other. With a grunt she slammed her right knee into the pannel snapping the thin layer of wood and exposing the stronger, rough oak door behind this unique section of wall. Another grunt that was starting to sound like a scream sounded as she slammed the wall again, her knee now leaked a small amount of blood.
The infuriated woman stepped back from the pannel, spun and slammed the heal of her foot into the softest part of the long crack her knee had made.
"Remind me to fix that," another kick with her foot snapped the thick wood in two, revealing the last layer of defence, sepperating Fallen from whatever was behind that wall," later.. Great.. now I need a sledge hammer. Someone really needs to get Astal here." Her eyes were still rimmed with a slight hazyness that proved that she hadn't lost her deep hatred for failure.

Myrkari paused and turned and no one was there.
"God damnit! I must be going crazy!" He shouted before running out of the room. Maybe he was that preoccupied when Sovi disappeared. He hadn't noticed the three leave...

"There you are!" Myrkari exclaimed, walking into the library. "Here you had me thinking that I was going nuts." People disappearing left and right...
He looked at the broken wooden panel on the wall and what seemed to be a door behind it.
"What is that?"

Bristi winced as each blow landed on the door. Apparently, whatever was behind the door had jammed it. So, even after Crow had used her blade to unlock it, the door remained unbudging.
Bristi wanted to call out, to tell her to stop. Especially after Fallen's knee started bleeding. But she knew it would be useless. Fallen wasn't exactly in any mood to listen.
Bristi jumped a little as Myrkari entered, shouting. Her head was starting to hurt with all the loud noise.

"That, Myrkari, is some kind of closet. Fallen has a theory concerning what may be behind it, but we can't get it open. We could use Astal's help, he may know some other way to get in if we can't make it through this way. Have you seen him lately?" She spoke softly, as if to counteract all the other noise.

"Oh, Lady Crow!" I gasped upon seeing her working with Ladies Bristi and Fallen and Sir Myrkari on the closet that Sir Soviet had designed into the floor plan of the mansion. "I am so sorry, I was checking on the diner I was preparing and hadn't thought to check if any assistance was needed."
I apologized profusely, especially when I saw that they were trying to open the closet.
"I have no clue what the that is even doing hear." I said, looking at the secret door. "Sir Soviet never explained why these were set about the mansion. I never bothered to check."
Then I realized that they might need some one to open it.
"If you are in need of assistance, I suggest you find Sir Soviet. He is after all the architect. He would know how to open it."

"I need a sledge hammer Astal. Don't ask any questions just get me one." Her tone was less malevolent now, but it still held its edge. As she moved back to the door, she began searching the door for any sign of weakness. Her search showed that the force of her blows had created a tiny crack in the tough material. Apparently the building was older than it looked.

Bristi jumped a little as Astal suddenly spoke up from behind her. Making dinner...when a killer was loose...it figures.
She glanced first at Astal's meticulous hairstyle...then his tux, and finally his expensive looking shoes. She honestly doubted if the butler would move fast enough to suit Fallen.

"I'll be right back." She muttered in the general direction of the group before brushing past Astal and into the still dark hallway.

"Back!"Bristi called triumphantly, coming back in through the library door carrying a medium axe.
"Here,"she said, thrusting the axe into Myrkari's hands. "Give Fallen a break, and help us out here."
Catching his arm, she made as if to draw him over to the exposed door.
"Get it open, if you can. Perhaps then we can put Fallne's mind at ease."
Bristi looked back at Astal, still standing in the doorway. "We'll explain later Pops, and we'll fix it. There's no time to find Sovi right now..although he's the cause of all this anyway...pain the neck that he is."Bristi had growled the last bit to cover any worry she might feel. It was either worry or the danged headache she now sported.
