- Supernatural Condition: During the day, Dean's cells are able to absorb and harness the energy and radiation from the sun. As a result he experiences a supernatural condition that enhances his strength, speed, durability, agility, ect.
Flight: Dean also possesses the ability to fly but has never been able to do so with a great amount of accuracy. He is best at maybe building level but once he reaches plane altitude he tends to lose some steering control. Most of the time he simply flies upwards to get closer to the sun and to sort of charge himself.
➳ What are their weaknesses?
- Dean's powers come from his cells absorbing sunlight and while he is unable to manipulate it in any form other than physically enhancing his body, it is the key source of his power. At night he is forced to rely only on the reflected sunlight from the moon and so at night his abilities are reduced greatly to Peak Human Condition.
➳ How do they act?
- Dean is a kind person but also a cautious one. He knows that all powers have limits and it has made him a little more wary as he has aged. His trust is earned and once you have it, you have to work to keep it. Once his trust is lost it can never be regained. He has seen too many betrayals for forgiveness. Dean is a good friend to have and relatively well put together despite the events of his life. There is a certain militaristic aspect to his presence but that is to be expected.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Dean's childhood is not nearly as interesting as his early twenties. He lived a good youth. He was a good kid, took care of his brother and his parents, but in his twenties things really kicked off. He discovered his powers at the age of 22 and by then he already had a job as an investigative journalist. It was the best combination. Hero by day, journalist by night. He took the shifts nobody wanted and wrote the stories that nobody knew about yet because he was the one breaking the news. He became famous for always being ahead of the stories and was never unmasked by anyone other than the heroes he worked with. Dean hit a point where he liked the recognition more than the feeling of saving people and it disgusted him. It wasn't his intention to make himself famous and so he eventually stopped writing stories about himself. He focused in on other heroes and just a candle being blown out, the legend of Rebellion faded from public view until he was just another mask stopping criminals and saving people. It made him happy to do good without so much attention and he has been doing that ever since.

- - Dean actually helped create some of the names that many Glory Day heroes are known for. He was in the meeting rooms while the article headlines were being thrown out.
- The idea behind his name was that he was leading a rebellion against crime.
