I know that shockwaves are a sudden burst of energy and that the air/wind helps the shockwave travel. Since shockwave uses energy, thus the particles are charged, thus again the particles are generating electricity. Or some s**t like that.

However, the manipulation of this power gives the user a tremendous boost in abilities, largely due to the composition of plasma itself, being a super-heated gas and it's own state of matter.

By infusing arrows with lightning and fire chakra, the user is capable of a number of things. When released from a bow, the arrow causes a thunderclap, which can be heard from 125 meters away. Since the user is in such close proximity to the thunderclap, firing the arrow causes some slight disorientation, which prevents them from performing complex actions such as forming hand signs or stringing another bow or even running at full speed. Due to the lightning chakra, the arrows are fired at increased velocity, making the arrows difficult to react to. Furthermore, it gives them the capability of piercing solid steel. The fire chakra, on the other hand, causes anything the arrows has pierced to burst into flames. Unfortunately, this leaves a chakra trail behind the arrow, making it easier for the arrow to be detected. Alternatively, it also makes it easier for the user to track the arrows down after they're fired.
Upon missing their target and colliding with a dense object such as stone or wood, a field of electricity will surround the arrow, causing anyone caught within this field to have severe problems with moving their body. The field covers a ten meter diameter, and instantly begins to shrink at a meter per second until it dissipates completely. As soon as anyone within the field is no longer inside of it, all of their motor functions quickly return to normal.
Once fired, arrows may also split into up to 19 lightning-clone versions of themselves; however, since the chakra is divided, each arrow is considerably weaker, but still capable of piercing through the human body. Furthermore, without the extra chakra, the arrows are no longer capable of creating an electric field, including the original.
