▪ When filling it out for powers, try and be very specific. Rather than just naming their powers, explain what they're capable of with them. You can update it as they grow more powerful throughout the story.
▪ For weaknesses, try and be specific. However, if the only real weakness they have is their own mortality, that is a valid answer. Not everyone has a Kryptonite; some may simply grow tired or exhaust their powers.
▪ Make an effort not to make your character over-powered. It's much more rewarding to have them gradually develop their abilities and even finding clever ways to use them to their advantage.
▪ You don't have to fill out "Anything else we need to know?"
▪ You replace the capital letters with the information in the profile, not the text above it. Look at finished profiles for references.
▪ As of now, the only acceptable origin of powers is the Chicago Experiment, whether they were among the first, children who inherited powers from ancestors, or simply late bloomers who were affected also. This means that things such as magic or abilities inherited from alien status are not valid. Any powers I consider too “magical” will be denied. Any spiritual aspects or things that have no basis in science will be declined. If you're wondering why, it's because it's much easier to regulate things that can at least qualify as pseudoscience. I can measure strength via the weight one can lift, but I cannot measure one's “inner strength” by measurement of their soul.
▪ No more telekinetics, no telepathy, umbrakinesis, regenerative healing factors, and no more people who are psionic resistant/immune either.
▪ If you can help it, keep the powers simple, nothing too complicated or too powerful. I will not approve simply because you feel you need to match the caliber of previous characters. It is my intention to gradually lower the power levels of newer characters.
