What are their powers if they have any?
Psionic Ambient Energy (Advanced Telekinesis): Ferek shares the same aspect in mental capabilities as his grandfather, but instead of full on telekinesis, his ability has manifested in creating actual projections that take on physical forms. He is able to create constructs with his mental capabilities. At most, these constructs are able to lift past a ton, close to two if his mind is really capable of doing it.

Unique to Ferek's Telekinesis is that it is embued with Ambient Energy. He is able to blast off beams of concentrated energy by his hands, chest or through his eyes.

He can use his Advanced Telekinesis to various effects. He is able to fly, create small bright orange-colored telekinetic shields and barriers and other constructs, unleash incredibly powerful blasts of bright orange telekinetic force and, freely control and manipulate several objects from a huge distance. Since his abilities are mind-based, it means that if he's unable to concentrate or form a thought, he's unable to use his powers. This also means that most of his powers are controlled by his emotions and feelings and can often get out of hand if he gets angry enough, causing the environment around him to be left in a telekinetic mess, like when he caused the facility to erupt with energy. Because his telekinesis is advanced, his abilities are practically limitless and requires him to be kept in check a lot more.

Because he is telekinetic, Ferek has a form of telepathy. This telepathy doesn't allow him to control the will of others, rather it alerts him of the presence of others, particularly if their intent is of cruel intentions. Because it is limited, at most, he can only have a hunch, meaning, the person could just be having a bad day and he wouldn't tell otherwise, other than just to avoid them if proven to be hostile.

                What are their weaknesses?
The primary weakness that Ferek shares with his predecessor is that their thoughts are the center of everything. If they cannot properly think, their ability to use telekinesis is heavily affected.

Ferek can only choose between full on Ambient Energy or Ambient Construction (Telekinesis). He cannot use both at the same time. If using Ambient Energy for blasts, it leaves him exposed mentally.

His suit is another weakness. It keeps his mind in check, material made to help keep him in a calm state for the most part so that if he were to get angry, he would not erupt into a mass of telekinetic destruction again. He wears a watch that does the same thing when outside of his hero attire.

He is fairly human without his powers, able to get hurt if overpowered past his telekinetic shields or more, an issue that is now brought up. Ferek has a limit on his construct's durability. Anything past two tons, three at most depending on how focused and determined he is, will break him past his limits, thus breaking his concentration and leaving him out for a while.

                How do they act?
Ferek is by no means an emotional wreck. He is able to have emotions without fearing that one slight tick may send his powers off on a larger scale. He's witty, a bit sarcastic, but he's able to get serious when it's required, the male mastering a charming smile like the original. He upholds the standard of hero morals whenever he does resurface.

                What's their backstory?
Captain Cosmo meant everything to the world, but to Catherine Morrison, the planet just was not big enough for the place he held within her heart. Tragedy hit home hard when it was discovered he was left in a coma after the Chicago incident, but still a positive had been granted out of the year. Catherine Elizabeth Morrison was born to a rising hero and his wife. She grew up having a loving family, but the good times never last. Being heavily involved among the hero community, it was already hard for her and her mother to lose Theodore, but it was heavy when his it was done at the hands of his protege, someone whom was considered part of the family. The remaining heroes could not convince them they were safe and so for a few years, they left, traveled overseas on an occasional basis until they settled in Brazil to conduct medicinal studies. Catherine was Twenty-Six at the time, studying in one of the colleges present. It was there she met her future husband, Lucio and after a situation that led to another, a son was conceived out of wedlock.

Ferek was his given name, a unique Brazilian take on the name Freddie, or Frederick and his middle name Theo, named after his late Grandfather. Just like his grandfather, there was something more to him. Catherine was never around the experiment, but it was thought to have been considered that years being around super individuals had rubbed off on her through genetics. With raising a child who was developing Psionic skills by the age of two, her, her husband and her mother did all they could to help him learn. This included telling him the stories of the Glory Days, particularly that of Captain Cosmo.

Maybe that was a bit too soon as they learned. When they eventually returned to America to mourn the passing of Catherine's mother in 1996, Ferek would often fantasize about being a hero and he actually went out to do it, arriving on the scene as Kid Cosmo. Of course, his parents were not in agreement with this notion, but the male kept finding more and more ways to just get out and do it over and over again for even the slightest moment like helping a cat out of the tree or just rescuing people from fires.

His biggest ordeal came in 1998 during one of California's worst recorded crimes. Trafficking was already a major taboo among society in America. It was taken beyond the limits with Ferek when the trafficking began to occur among children close to his age. He had heard the stories, children, women, even men occasionally missing, but never had he imagined he would stumble on to a facility of people actually being housed and drugged. The worst of it, sold.

It erupted in his soul a fiery wrath that caused the place to rupture in telekinetic energy. A few superheroes present tried to assess the situation, keep the male at a calm, but even when that was all said and done, Ferek was still unable to just completely gain control. Everything was still out of order, but amid the panic came a calming presence in a mysterious figure. It was not known if because of his similar capabilities with his grandfather or if his mind simply created a mental construct to try and help him remember what he was aiming to do as a hero that the original Captain Cosmo appeared before him, but what is known is that the partially wrecked facility came to a halt, crashing down abruptly. If not for the heroes that did arrive to the scene, chances were those used for trafficking would have been in a worse state or simply dead. The culprits were caught, but their leader was left in such a terrible state, having witnessed Kid Cosmo practically destroy everything.

He was sought after for the damage, but his parents never let his identity be revealed nor did they let on that there was any affiliation. Like most, they moved from the area, "fearing for their lives" as they put it, though it was to keep their son safe.

As he got older, his abilities were coming to a controlled state. This was helped by medicine and from a few materials that helped keep his mental state calm. Occasionally, he would resurface as a hero, the name Kid eventually dropping for Captain and the roman numeral II coming after Cosmo. Now a young adult and fresh out of college, he roams around here and there, but as a Journalist, he heads to Chicago to investigate not just the recent death of Criss-Cross, but also to learn more about his grandfather and those responsible for his death.
