Not enough people traveled by rooftop, but that was probably because most people couldn’t pull off the same leaps from building to building. It was a nice rush, hopping around in her fancy costume and ponytail getup, playing superhero in a place that really needed one. According to some rumors she heard, others were trying to make a difference too, so she must have been doing something right. As nice as it was to reflect on that fact, her bunny senses were tingling. And by bunny senses, she meant the sound of sirens, and the weird getaway vehicle that happened to zip right past the building she was at. Someone was trying to run off with a bunch of green from a local bank.

It looked like the cops were catching up—wait, nope, those weren’t cops. Of course, it wasn’t the cops; things just happened to go to s**t in West Valley Park, and the cops were either incompetent or corrupt, which wasn’t a good thing in a part of the city that needed some serious help. It was up to vigilantes like the speed racer and his lady friend riding shotgun, and her too. After doing some stretches, left side, right side, a little wiggle to get the vibes, she put on a smile and scoped the vehicle ahead. It was taking a left to avoid a bunch of cops, which—for shady reasons—they already seemed to know about and made a 180° (albeit on a double left turn) to get the hell away. It worked out, because all Cottontail had to do was hop on down and land right at the hood of the getaway van, scaring the living s**t out of the driver and friend. “Hiya! I’m Cottontail.” she greeted with a wave, causing the driver to turn left to shake her off, only to crash into a street light. Instinctively, she jumped away, letting the vehicle crash while she dusted her fake tail off and corrected her folded bunny ear. All the while, the unhappy crooks emerged from the van, four to be precise, with their guns locked on her; the driver was out cold, though, and the guy riding shotgun came out with a shotgun—oh, the irony. “Wait a sec,” she insisted, raising her index finger to make sure her bust was fitted appropriately in their sockets. Confused, the armed men kept their weapons aimed, but were…distracted by her behavior. “Okay, it’s almost there. Done!” Suddenly, she leapt forward and kicked the first one, giggling as she flipped around to evade the gunfire. While she could’ve handled them just fine, the getaway vehicle wasn’t the only vehicle around; they had two more cars full of goons to support them, four more in each. While she was fast, she wasn’t that fast. A little assistance would have been nice. If she could just get the heat off of her, she could have handled them easier.

She had a point. He was yelling his head off for no reason, unaware that it was just a little more complicated than that. If she needed to get closer to see them, then that's exactly what he'd do. The robbers had turned an unexpected corner, forcing Will to spin the wheel hard in order to match the speed and drift on over into the next street. Smoke trailed from the tires while they screeched against the pavement, the car pulling far off to the left of the new street. "How to piss Will Freeman off in under five minutes." The man uttered, turning the wheel left and right to stabilize the vehicle. Running lights in this area didn't mean s**t considering cops looked the other way, mostly if you were paying them off or giving them special services. Will wouldn't be caught dead giving any West Valley cop the time of day.

It was soon after that some sort of rogue figure smacked the topside of the getaway car in front of the two. "We've got company. Fingers crossed they're on our side. I don't mind having to slap a b***h if it comes down to it..Sorry." Will turned over to Angel after his potentially offensive use of the word, unsure of she would react. He's seen some s**t in his day. A lot of the time the bad guys had some special back-up, help from supers here and there. He didn't plan on letting his guard down for anyone. Things seem to take an awfully different turn when the car crashed into the streetlight. "Ah, hell." Will's car came to a halt in the middle of the street, not far off from where the crash occurred. He wasted no time hopping out of the car and continuing over to the group only to stop dead in his tracks at the sight of her. For a moment, he was stunned by her appearance and could only see the back of her, he had to hold off for a moment; she even had the robbers stopping to take a look. He figured maybe after this he might have to talk to her, take her out, go for some coffee. Only then it him. He knew about her as his eyes fixated on that fake a** bunny tail that shook when she moved. Cottontail. People who've come to him asking for details and the new happenings around town mentioned her every so often. Woman with some nice features not afraid to get her hands dirty mucking up criminal operations here in their very own West Valley Park.

Wild gunfire roared through the air, headed straight for Will. He saw coming a mile away and immediately "steeled up" as the few stray bullets connected with his armored skin. Cottontail was now kicking a** and taking names although the fight could make a turn for the worse if she didn't get any outside help. Will sprinted into action, soon coming into contact with another van that had parked close by, ready to join the fight and protect their associates. He rammed into it shoulder first, causing it to skid off down the street and eventually it'd fall onto it's side. Immediately bullets were fired upon his person, a pinging noise was heard every time the bullets made contact, the small yet deadly projectiles collapsing into small pellets when fired against his metal protection.

Will planted his boot against one of them before shifting his body around to deliver a devastating back hand that sent one of them and their guns flying off. "Fancy meeting you here? You've got quite the reputation around here." In a swift fashion, Will stuck his arms out wide, spinning quickly as the front end and back end of his fists collided with the men sending them spiraling off in different directions.

And so, the chase was on. Manning the wheel, he tried to keep up with the robbers and the others who seemed to be helping. Heroes of some kind judging by the looks of them. They drove a Mustang. White with black details and whipped it well. He was impressed. Still, he needed to keep his attention alert on the incoming traffic to make sure no one was hurt during all this, except of course, the men who deserved it. He turned his wheel hard at every turn same as the Mustang and van ahead. Rahjesh's van was no where near the horse power that their machinery packed but Cal's foot was practically glued to the gas barely even letting up for a moments rest.

"What in sam hell..." he gazed out, leaning forward trying to get a better look of what just jumped onto the van and caused it to swerve unpredictably before crashing into a street light. When he arrived, he saw the other car had already made it and been in park. He opened the door and shut it, marching into the situation with purpose in each step. That same purpose nearly leaving him as he halted seeing her. "No, can't be..Is that...a bunny?" Okay, admittedly he was still new to the whole hero shtick but this had to be a joke right? Only it wasn't. He realized that when bullets started flying and ricocheting off of the man in front of him. It was cool he was unable to be affected by the projectiles, but not cool for the innocent bystanders that could. When the next armed criminal tried their hand at sneaking up behind the witty tongued man, Cal cut them off with a strike into the back of their neck, instantly knocking them out. "You missed one." he pointed out. Then picked the fallen automatic up and aimed it at the newly arrived vehicles. "Bubba, Joe, T-Dog you're all just in time for the light show." He told them as he started riddling the doors and windows with bullets.

"You're not referring to me so I don't mind,"
She said reassuring Will. He did seem to be trying to get a good angle for her. thing quickly went weird as a costumed hero, not one of the ones you see on the news every day, but costumed none the less, landed on the car stopping it. The theme seemed to be Rabbit, and Angel was more confused than surprised. After said hero nearly had a wardrobe malfunction Will joined them as bullets went flying. They were joined by another guy shortly after and soon everyone had a car of bad guys to fight. A fourth car showed and the guys started to get out. She was at this point out of the car and using it as cover. She did have a good shot on this car. She leaned on the car to keep herself upright and focused on the driver who had just pulled out his gun and was in front of the others. A short disorienting switch over to the driver later, she used the gun's stock to knock the guy out behind her/him and again with the other two guys who were confused as to why their buddy was suddenly turning on them. All was left was the driver she was using. She threw the gun under the car and ran over to Will. She had told him of the time limit to her power and he would understand that the driver running over without the gun was likely her. By the time she got to him she got booted out. Her minute was up. This would still give will time to deal with the unarmed driver who would now be very confused as to his lack firearm and location difference, as to him time had not passed.

It was funny how the police were “chasing” them earlier, but were nowhere to be found suddenly when there was an apparent street fight, but she didn’t care to complain about that. In fact, she was enjoying herself; the bullets flying weren’t a concern for her. While she actively avoided them, she knew they wouldn’t affect her much. Her company was welcomed, especially with one striking up some conversation in the middle of the fight, a source of additional entertainment as he recognized her. “I always did want to be famous. You’re no stranger to these parts either, I hear,” she replied, giggling as she performed a spinning hook kick on the nearest thug’s torso, sending him ten feet back right towards another, two for one as they both bumped into the nearest car. Her attacks were very smooth, and her legs—in their long, flexible frame—were weapons all their own; each of her attacks came with the force of battering rams, and it seemed like the sound of bones cracking could be heard. It just so happened that her physical attributes were far superior to that of the average human. Of course, the same could be said for her partner in words, whom had adopted a metal exterior to cause comparable results, making quick work of everyone in his vicinity. What baffled her was how one of the would-be thugs turned on his own, though his genuine confusion moments after acting led the bunny to think some powers were at play. Her suspicions were seemingly true when a woman in a car seemed to awaken shortly after the man displayed confusion. As an act of good measure, she walked over to the confused male, waved, and gave a lazy but swift jab to the forehead, though it knocked him unconscious.

It wasn’t long before their uncanny teamwork left the thugs, and their vehicles wasted, the money left intact within the getaway vehicle, and cowardly police nowhere to be found. However, a victory was a victory, one she appreciated by sitting on the hood of one of the cars riddled with bullet holes, looking around at their handiwork. Her bunny ears were intact, too, a plus. It prompted a yawn as she stretched out her arms and pulled up one of her long gloves just a teensy bit, more so out of habit than necessity. “Well, that was easy…” she commented. When she heard some groaning from the male who wasn’t quite unconscious beside her foot, she lightly tapped his head with her foot, a small thud putting him to sleep before she crossed her legs.

Looked like everybody was coming out of the woodwork today. Will was enjoying himself a little too much as he knocked a chunk of these thugs around like it was nothing up until he instinctively threw his hands halfway over his hand at the sound of gunfire banging against his ear drums, louder than what their enemies carried. "Aye, man! Watch where you shoot that thing. Not going deaf today, nah." Who let the big a** potato head out of that children's movie, anyway? Whatever, thought Will, not willing to argue with anybody who was down to fight dirty in all of this. The men in the car reacted in a frenzy practically spiraling out of control as they approached until they came to a stuttering halt, tires popped and the car pierced and peppered with the contents of the weapon's magazine. "I,
uh. Good s**t."
Will's awkward thumbs up was all he could offer to the man as he moved towards the van in haste. He was ready to rip the door off it's hinges when a straggler decided that it'd be in his own best interests t run up on him like he had it all figured out. "Oh no, no, no. This is just sad." In one solid strike, Will took his metallic arm and slammed it upward into the man's jaw causing him to fly a few feet through the air before experiencing a hard and surely bone breaking landing atop the hood of one of their cars.

"All this damn nonsense and for what?" Will stepped over to the backside of a black van that the majority poured out of before ripping the doors off like paper from a notebook. This was a lot of guys and a pretty organized transport for there to be nothing for them to actually be protecting.
"You're telling me that instead of being home, catching up on some sleep,
I just duked it out with a crew of a** hats with the new girl, Egg Head, and the Playboy Bunny."
Scratching the back of his head, Will let out a sigh followed by a brief chuckle. "Never a dull day in West Valley, am I right?"
