- He doesn’t have any real superhuman abilities. Instead, Bumblebee utilizes a modified MK5 Coltello, a suit of bulletproof armor complete with a HUD system in the helmet, blasters on his forearms, retractable blades (stingers), and a jetpack which also helps produce the energy for his blasters. While he didn’t create the suit, he’s quickly learned its capabilities, and uses it to deadly efficiency, especially when performing aerial maneuvers.
He is a superb shooter, having practiced his accuracy to avoid embarrassing missed shots, though this was long before he donned the suit.

- Danny defines himself as someone who’s good at heart, but he’s been in with the wrong people a couple times, such as gangs, particularly to escape the turmoil at home. His tendency to find himself in trouble isn’t short of extraordinary either, but he doesn’t need his suit to feel brave. Usually, he’s humorous, flirty, and very sociable, but he strongly dislikes looking down for an odd mixture between his ethnicity and his social class.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Life wasn't very kind to his family; his father left a long time ago, and their mother died from a drug overdose, so all Danny had was his big sister Araceli to raise him. The big-name supers didn't stick around his part of the city; there weren't any cameramen, and frankly, the only people who stuck their noses out were the scum, so they were on their own. Making ends meet was hard, and he was driven to crime, partaking in various gang activities to get the money they needed fast, since an honest living wasn't cutting it. Of course, his sister didn't like it, especially when he found himself in juvenile hall, cutting it close to prison because of his age at the time. When he saw her reaction, he endeavored to turn his life around, and took up a job as a mechanic alongside his friend Sergio, whom was also looking to turn his life around.
Things turned out for the better when a truck passed through his neighborhood one night carrying something he wasn't expecting. A couple of hired guns came by and attacked, and he had every reason to run, but he watched instead. The spectacle came after: the hero, Evergreen, arrived to render the men unconscious. The thugs themselves seemed to be interested in some box. He was dying to see what it was, and against his wiser judgement, he took the box for himself, perhaps to return it once he found out. What he found inside was a suit. Initially, he tried it on, and it was surprisingly a perfect fit. It was only by accident that he activated it, witnessing its capabilities. He decided to keep it for himself, and in exchange for his act of selfishness, he protects his streets.
