Mei watched the brawl happen much like if she were watching flies. All she really cared for was the amazing food on her pallet, and making sure no one touched her parasoul. When the fight moved to the outdoors, Mei would be damned if she would follow it. Instead, she simply hopped up from the bar, food still in hand, and passed to the egregious hole in the wall. The barkeep was trying not to cry, she saw, and she was just in time to see a rather quick headbutt squared into her charge's head. Now this was really a party!

...Don't fear death if it comes...

Spirit! That was the word to describe Saho. She had a fire within her that Baldur adored and he wanted to see just how bright she could burn. She howled at him and rammed her head forward. Luckily for Baldur he could feel her moving. His head moved down it was all he had time to do but it saved him from a smashed nose. Still the head butt connected with his own forehead and he reeled back as intended. Dazed the behemoth shook his head trying to stop the spinning and doubles of the great cow. She leapt to her feet and within moments those supple muscular thighs were wrapped around his neck and quickly applying pressure.

He had turned so that she was facing him as she squeezed which only served to further distract him. "A smell so sweet is......dis...trac...ting..." He struggled to finish his words as she continued to rob him of the oxygen he needed. He gasped for air while rising the fight within him unable to give in. He stumbled to his feet his each hand getting a firm grasp of buttocks for support. He got to full stance and his face was now red his vision began to fade. This was it his final chance to break out. His right leg dropped back into a lunge and with all his might he thrust his body down his left knee now bent. He came down with such force that Saho's spine was going to impale itself upon his knee assuming she didn't break loose. As the attack prepared to connect Baldur knew that if she didn't loosen up on impact he would pass out and she would win. One thing was for sure, this giants wouldn't go down without one last swing.

Saho was not going to bend however. Despite his somewhat odd behavior she was planning to win this regardless. She could even feel herself being lifted, but in response she only tightened the pressure. Were Baldur a human he might have been dead by now, but she was impressed for sure. He was a warrior true, but she wasn't losing even with this movement. Saho moved her arms behind her back, laying them on top of each other as her palm slammed into his leg keeping her from being impaled. It was not more of an awkward position, like a bridge.

She stared at her "I like you guy, you have some fight in ya. Your parents would be proud!" she complemented as she gave a loud bellow as she tensed even more as she throw herself forward as if to vault over his head though she lost no grip. She was using her weight and strength especially as she twisted in order to throw the giant off his balance. It was risky of course, as if he remained as wall she'd more hurt herself.

Saho smiled "Mooooooooo~!" she let out a strange noise as she strained to bring the man down. She trained for this quite a bit, wrestling and grips were big parts of her fighting styles. She smiled "The name by the way...." her bell ringing as it had been this whole time "...is Sahohime." He might have even known about the name were he a participant in the war but for now, it was what he wished.

His vision was continuing to fade. The darkness around him was creeping in. He tried to slam her down and as predicted she countered. She had gotten herself in superior position and now Baldur was going to pay the price. She using her arms twisted and with a thunderous boom the two collided into the mud. As she tightened her grip he knew he was done. This game was coming to an end. There was no way he could win now. His final move had been played and despite the valiant effort it wasn't enough.

He lay there smothered by her thighs and enjoying the view as it faded to black. Just before he slipped from consciousness he heard her name. It wasn't something he would soon forget. His eyes rolled back and with it his body went limp. The giant had fallen, taken down by a mooing cow.

Mei's face, which had been one of carefree indecision, slowly turned sour and beyond her years. Her goliath was falling, worse still he was pinned between gorgeous thighs. The girl licked her lips of crumbs, putting down her belongings for a moment, before in a blink of the eye she was kneeling next to the heap that she begrudgingly called her ally. His face was still in between the woman's thighs, and though Mei would have been in punching distance of the bovine, she just looked toward her unconscious ward.

Bringing her hand back, a thunderous smack that echoed into the stormy night, and the red spot that lay on Baldur's face happened in a split second. It was almost as if thunder cracked across the sky with her wallop, and her face was inches away from the side of his. He had her out in the rain of all things, and even though her parasoul was on her shoulder, it was still closed.

"You're so useless. Why do I even bother with you." It wasn't a question, but a statement of pure contempt. Turning her gaze up towards the woman, it turned back into a child suddenly as she let forth a large smile. "Sahohime, huh? Sounds familiar. How are you doing today?"

Saho smiled at the man as she slowly lost consciousness. The cow let out a small chuckle and waited a moment. She let out a small breath "You still got it." she spoke to herself as she gave herself a gentle slap. She was about to release the male before the little one came over. She took a deep breath before the sound of a crack reached her ears. She looked down and blinked before she saw the cute girl there. Saho was quiet, curious for a moment at the strange behavior.

She crossed her arms over her large chest, pushing them up a bit as she spoke stood up, releasing the fallen giant. Was she like, his sister or something? Probably not as the two seemed very different, but they seemed to know each other. She let out a small bellow before her eyes met the gaze of the much shorter girl "I'm doing alright." she stated. She was one of the few left from the tavern. She seemed very unconcerned however. It was unusual.

She gave her bell a little flicker "And you?" this one was hard to read, but Saho's body was still active so if this one tried anything she was ready for anything. She continued to look down waiting to see what she might say. Saho didn't seem to mind the rain "Maybe we should get him to shelter? He still won the hog so you two can have it obviously." she stated.

...Don't fear death if it comes...

Darkness. All around him darkness. He was enveloped by it. It's chilling embrace eating away at his very nature as he lay dormant, unable to escape its grasp. It gnawed at him nibbling away at his very being. Suddenly without warning a thunderous hit came across his cheek and with it, he was yanked from the abyss. Whatever force of nature had just hit him was strong enough to roll the giant over so that he was now face down in the mud.

His eyes still closed he could now hear his surroundings. Hazy at first but coming into focus within moments. The sound of two familiars one insulting him and the other stating he had won. The smell or water and earth all around him as his eyes slowly opened. The unending rain washing over his back only served to sharpen his mind faster. With a groggy groan, his monstrous palms move beneath him and lifted his hulking form from the wet earth below. He rose to a knee before moving his hand up to jaw and rubbing tenderly. "Did you smack the s**t out of me again?" He inquired shifting his icy eyes to Mei the one he served. The behemoth rose to his feet before closing his eyes and tilting his head to the sky. The cold rain poured down upon him washing the mud from his face and beard. He let out a long relaxed sigh his breath leaping out into the air in a cloud before dissipating.

After a few moments of this he turned to Saho tilting his head to either side causing a few cracks and pops to echo out. "You said something about me winning?" He inquired his disposition changing a bit from earlier. He wanted what was promised. The time for games was over whatever had done it Mei was now displeased which meant his fun had come to an end. Despite being on a very long leash Baldur was at times remind that it still existed.

Cornflower blue orbs traveled down to thunderous thighs as they let her ward go. They slowly admired their way back up to the woman's face, before closing and smiling. She looked more like a child than anything, especially with a silly attachment to a parasoul, and Mei knew for a fact it disarmed others relatively well. A child was harmless, and a child should be protected or at the very least forgotten about. A child could not crack your bones and feast on your blood.

Her smile grew as the bovine answered her, which made the redhead rise to her feet. She was leagues shorter than the woman, even than her goliath, but she stared up unabashedly all the same. "I'm doing fantastic. Sorry to see this one go down so easily, but you know- beggars can't be choosers." She shrugged and twirled her parasol slowly. "Oh he's fine," Mei said grimly as she looked down at Baldur, who was now coming back to the world of the living.

Mei's mouth was twisted into a smile but as her orbs looked to his, there was something dangerous there. It was primitive, and hungry, there was nothing there of nurture or innocence like a child should have. She did, however, let out a quick laugh as she replied to him, "Why yes I did. You lost the fight, and in such a way too. You deserve a face full of mud. Maybe something else..." The girl was quiet for a moment before she turned back to the woman. Drool almost escaped her mouth and even though she had eaten a healthy portion of snacks earlier, her stomach growled again. "More food? Do tell."

Saho tilted her head to the side bit "Well of course he is. I wasn't event trying to kill him." she said before walking path them, her heavy foot falls displacing mud & water from time to time as she traveled through the hole in the wall of the tavern. After a few moment the giant woman would emerge, axe resting on her shoulder as she carried the large boat over her head with one hand. She walked over to Mei 'I assume you two know how to properly prepare a deceased hog." she said dropping it up Mei though the girl could avoid it. She knew not of what to expect from the two however.

She brushed her finger across her chin for a moment "Robbed of my dinner." she said thinking for a moment "Yer the one who ate most of the food in the tavern ain't ya? For a little thing you sure do have a hefty appetite." she said looking back at the tavern "So what the story with you two? Your styles are quite separate...you guys like a merc band or something?" she cracked her neck.

...Don't fear death if it comes...

The rain came down around him soaking him to his core. A feeling he loved to be so enveloped by something, so consumed by its presence. He took in a deep breathe and allowed it to slip from his lips relaxing and centering himself in its cool touch. He shifted his gaze to Mei who was insulting him and shook his head softly. "Such a spiteful creature. I don't know if I could think of a better way to lose a bout. Being smothered in a such a manner was quite a treat." He said smiling through his monstrous beard and a allowing thunderous rumble of a chuckle to follow. The man couldn't lie out of all the ways to be defeated that was now one of his favorite.

"Nor I trying to kill you, don't give yourself so much credit my busty friend. If memory serves it was you who started this thing a cheap blow." He said stroking his beard before nodding confirming his previous notion as he remembered being punched through a wall and onto a table. Baldur scooped up the boar set down with a single hand slinging it over his shoulder like it meant nothing. " I am quite familiar. If you'd like you could join. Though this one has a rather insatiable appetite..." He said closing his fist and pointing a thumb to Mei, it was so frustrating sometimes having to fight with her over food. The little creature couldn't even control herself. Such a cruel leader she was indeed.

She mentioned being robbed of her dinner and Baldur huffed in disapproval. It was her own fault, you cannot be robbed of something you lost fairly. Perhaps she needed to just get a bit stronger. Though he would subvert such thoughts for now resisting the urge to get into again with her seeing as how Mei was in some kind of mood. "Hmmmm our story...." He said glancing over to his odd little companion and pondering for a moment. "She brought me into this glorious world, and now I roam about taking in all it has to offer." He said with big hearty smile before tilting his head back so that the rain could wash over him for a few moments. He then returned his gaze to Mei and then to Saho before his eyes momentarily widened signifying something had been forgotten.

Without a word the giant slogged off walking through the hole that was created and into the tavern. A few moments later he returned with that axes of his and placed it back upon his back allowing it to return to its home. He stood a bit taller now as if he wasn't completely without it. A rather jolly giant he was giving the duo quite the juxtaposition with how cruel this little creature next to him seemed to be. "Mei tends to follow me around." He said leaning over to Saho and putting a hand up to cover his mouth so Mei wouldn't see. "Kind of sad really." He whispered teasingly. He knew she would hear his words and that he was likely to be struck for such things but he couldn't help it. They had a very unorthodox relationship and Baldur was known for stirring up a bit of trouble with her.
