Physical Attributes ▶ Mei Lin has ivory skin and a flaming head of orange-red hair that is set at odds to her skin tone. It is actually darker, but because of her skin tone, the unusual opaqueness caused from vampirism, it looks lighter. She is a small thing and while she is a scrapper she has no scars or marks on her but for one very thin line that goes across her neck and, what looks like, a puncture wound placed on her ribcage. It is perhaps where the vampire was attacked before succumbing to death at the hands of a Fallen before rebirth, but that is a answer for another time. She also has an intricate tattoo that passes from her lower back to just at the nape of her neck. It looks like a serpent of some kind with the head of a blaring sun.
Transformation Physical Attributes ▶ Mei's secondary form looks more like a husk that she is rather than her charming innocent self. A mysterious symbol appears upon her head, and underneath her eyes and chin, and her skin loses its opaqueness and becomes purple in color. Her hair loses its vibrancy and is now a muddied green, while her eyes are the only thing that retains some light- completely white. She grows in stature, becoming 5'8 and her fangs sharpen so that not just her canines are sharpened but the second tooth is also ready to bite down on a jugular. While it is not the most extravagant changing, those who have seen this form have not survived other than a certain older vampire.
Another form is not quite a transformation, but when Mei is in the mood to fight, her hair loses its orange tint and her eyes grow a lurid red. This form is the secondary if Mei wants to unleash more power, but does not want to transform completely.

Personality ▶ Mei is like the spring, always moving and energetic, yet holds undertones of stormy skies and destruction. She is like a bouncing child, getting into people's personal space, or asking for food, and usually she gets what she wants. Not because of some persuasion she has, but because as a child people are simply more inclined to give things to her. If they do not, especially because she is a vampire, she will take it from them and leave them with little if she were so provoked. Speaking of provocation, even though Mei revels in the screams and blood from others, she is not always seeking out a fight. She is far too old to care about such things, and there is still a level of regality to her. On a dime she can switch between stoic indifference and a childish demeanor, and usually towards strangers she will choose the latter.
Because of her age, Mei sees most as below her and while she is talkative with strangers, there is always another plan working in her mind. She is not hell bent on blood as those of younger generations, but it does urge some of her actions. She enjoys older blood especially, and it does not matter if it is from a vampire or not. Because of this indifference, more aligned vampires are intrigued by her, but do not speak, and it makes the girl like a ghost in the wind on most occasions.

Mei was born long ago when the lines between vampires were not as prominent as they are today. She was born to Ah Jin and Shun Lin when Thentis was not even named, when Jiang was not a clan, and when the world knew nothing of good.
