- Electromagnetism - The capability to manipulate and generate the Electromagnetic Force. This allows Kim to attract and repel charges (Electricity, ionized object, or magnetic objects), visible by a bright blue electrical discharge around his body, limbs, or hand. Since material in solid and liquid forms are made of charges having a unique order, they, too, may be manipulated by this force. This is more noticable when Kim is capable of completely manipulating water via its diamagnetic property, he's shown to be able to amplify an object responses to certain magnetic "types" to gain a more visible response. This ability is also responsible for giving things strength, shape and hardness, allow Kim to enhance his own physical strength or duribility. Being the highest level of his ability, this level drains his stamina far quicker than anything. As such, Kim has developed ways to break down his ability into a subsections that he can manipulate or generate independently. As his highest level, Kim is capable of controlling the fundemental concept to the level of his current understanding.
Subsection: Magnetism - His standard ability and the "Child" version of his main ability. Kim is capable of generating, controlling and manipulating magnetism in all its forms, both natural and organic, even artificial. This allows Kim the skill to manipulate metals via their ferromagnetic, paramagnetic of diamagnetic properties, this even extends onto non-metals such as water via its diamagnetic properties. From the largest metals to the smallest bits and pieces, Kim has shown the ability to extend his control over them through a limited range of 20-meters. By understanding a human's bioelectrical working, Kim is capable of hijacking their motor-skill or downright alter their nervous system electrical signals via prolong physical contact. Either inducing brain damage or death.
➳ What are their weaknesses?
- Insulators - Due to the concept of his base ability, Kim has a natural weakness to any insulators as they heavily cripple his usage of his powers. These can either limit their range or downright nullify its effects.
Fire - The concept behind this weakness is noticeable by his most used ability, the Curie Point of his Magnetic Fields reaches up to 2,012 °F
Prolong combat - Kim isn't one to hold high stamina, this is noticeable due to his excessive moment. As such it's highly recommended that he either fights at a normal pace or finish his battle quickly.
Strength - Not to be confused with the lack thereof, Kim is capable of lifting an impressive amount of weight along with having enough leg muscles to leap large heights and distances. Unfortunately, Kim isn't capable of withstanding large punishment. This is evidence by his utilizing his own ability to enhance his durability. This also extends to his "Child" ability and base ability. Kim's Magnetic strength isn't capable of withstanding anything more than 2,000kg while his Electromagnetism strength cannot withstand anything above 3,720kg.
Natural Gift - Despite the pros of his main ability (Electromagnetism) Kim would struggle against someone who naturally controls said material: I.E, Kim wouldn't have as much control over water when going against a pure Hydrokinetic individual.

- Kim Hyun is a sassy, arrogant, and sarcastic young adult who lies, cheats, steals and does whatever is necessary to get by. Having been responsible for a mass murder a while ago, Kim has set out to fix his wrongs. Haunted by his past he seems to have created a false personality to hide away his pain, reverting back to his abuse of alcohol and narcotics. Despite this, Kim holds a high intellectual mind that seems to be heavily suppressed by his delinquent nature. Having studied in the field of engineering and physics, Kim has found countless of ways to effectively utilize his gift. Though, following the infamous event, Kim has once more reverted to his chaotic old nature.
Outside of this, Kim shows a high observation skill that allows him to deduct people's personalities, thoughts, and ulterior motives. Through his previous years of gang fights, he also shows a lust for combat and crime, stating that he views it as a thrilling experience to use his gift for whatever he wishes.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Growing up in the slums one had to understand the importance of self-defense. Gangs were a major concept of growing up, there's no way you could walk down the street without seeing at least five of them. Even in middle school, they were around, those little kids? Already making their ways into the gangster life, stealing, fighting, the streets were never safe. Yet here I was, one of the fortunate and unfortunate to gain it. As a kid, I never thought much about it, a tingling spark around my hand and I can change the channel without getting up. To me back then? That was the best usage of that power, mom didn't worry and dad only smiled and laugh...Who would've thought, that little Kim, the little brat who'd go around and help his neighbor would get into such a mess.
Barely into my pre-teen years, I found myself as part of the dozens of gangs in Chicago. I won't lie, it was a thrill when I first robbed a Deli. The rush I got from running away from the cops, nothing could feel better. I thought it'll be nothing but fun, a little stealing never harmed anybody! Just me and few boys, they take and I mess around with the camera. Nobody ever thought that we'd have to kill. How can a ten-year-old comprehend murder!? Yet there I was, standing over that old man corpse, didn't feel sorrow, fear, just a thrill. It felt like a drug, I couldn't get enough of it. So I waited with my crew, the entire night it was nothing but guns shots and the occasional little sparks.
As a little kid, I barely went to class, only hanged out with my squad and did what we wanted. Nobody bothered us and we bothered everyone. Yet there was this one girl, the only girl that never once flinched whenever I saw her. I won't call her the most beautiful woman, that'll be cheesy. Being part of a gang you'll meet a lot of women, heck most of them barely have anything on! Yet this one, she was different, felt different. Next thing I knew I grew attached to her, started off with me convincing my teacher to get her to be my tutor, next thing I know I'm running away from my past with her. The me from before never imagined it. College. If I could've warned myself I would've, I would beat myself just to avoid speaking to her.
Three years in, I barely keep up with my previous life. Had a normal job, homework, exams, all that fun crap. I was happy for just three years. Until that strange man showed up. It was just one party. One weirdo ruined three years of happiness. They're dead, they're all dead and I know I was responsible. Now... Now I'm back home again, same gang, same streets, different motive. I'll change everything no matter how dirty I have to get my hands. For them... For her.
